Isn't the point of a wingback to overlap with the the attackers on their side of the pitch? That's what separates them from a fullback. Azpi is a great fullback, but his attacking ability leaves a lot to be desired. Moses, for all his crossing woes, has Azpi easily beat in attacking. Azpi could be good enough for cover every once in a while, but if Moses is injured for more than a week, it could be troublesome. I also disagree about having an attacking wingback to support Hazard. I'd rather have a more defensive-minded wingback on Hazard's side to cover for his defensive deficiencies, whereas both Willian and Pedro are better defenders, making it easier to have a more attack minded wingback.

There are a few we've had that I think are worse, but I was definitely hoping for a monochrome crest and not having that weird huge watermark at the bottom. What were they thinking with that?

Not as big of a fan of the away kit as I am of the home. I think it's the collar and the white socks (could have just been because Inter had black socks).
-
I saw talk that they may schedule another behind-closed-doors friendly between the community shield and the start of the season.

We were always going to be miles away from the top European teams. It's been years since an English club was a real Champions League threat.
-
But I would say, we are missing our entire starting attack (Pedro-Morata-Hazard), playing a player who cannot defend in the midfield and one of the vocal, organizational leaders in Luiz.

We look how I expected us to look against Arsenal. Not sharp, slow, and some poor touches/passes.
-
United World Soccer? I bought my first ever Chelsea shirt in the Florida Mall location back in 2007.

I've already got mine, so it'll be interesting to find out. I would have rather had the two Premier League patches instead of the sponsorship anyway. I know Barca and PSG have their sleeve sponsors on their replica shirts.

What the fuck Ospina?!
-
All blue doesn't look bad, but I prefer white socks. It looks like Arsenal weren't expecting us to push the tempo so early. It looks like they're starting to wake up, but we've been on it all 5 minutes

No. It's being streamed on ChelseaTV. You just need a fan club account (it's free if you don't already have one) http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2017/07/arsenal-friendly-free-to-view-online.html

Weird having the two sponsors both be tyres, but it's better than the Carabao logo on the sleeve.

I wore the home shirt in public for the first time today. The only comments I've gotten on shirts in the past are from fans. I've received two "ooo stylish" compliments so far. These shirts really look nice casually. It's a really great shade of blue and the simplicity doesn't make it look too cheesy. I went with the stadium shirt. I have a USA vapor shirt and, for my body type (not tall and not slim) I prefer the stadium shirt.
-
Most of the people I saw comment on it said it's horrible. You're one of the first I've seen say they like it.

Her and Morata in the same post. Stop it! I have to control myself at work.
-
You say that as if the pictures are proof he's not happy. Pictures will a lot of the time give the wrong impression, especially if it's something like Training.
-
It'd be ideal, but I'm not worried about it. As long as we have a striker before the start of the season.
-
Bats will be fine for this match. It's only pre-season.
-
It's not always in the hands of the interested club to make a deal. It takes two clubs and a player to make a deal.
-
Seeing how Stones and Pogba are turning out, I'm glad.
-
Not necessarily at @Tautvix but I find it hilarious people are making such a big deal over media posts this summer. Are other clubs' supporters this pathetic? Stop looking for hints in social media posts.
-
ANOTHER WEEK!? I can't wait until there's matches again so people stop over analyzing every rumor piece and social media post.

There are MASSIVE expectations at the club. No manager will risk a bad run of form by playing youth players when we're able to field more experienced, better choices. I'll take winning trophies regularly over playing youth players Youth players have broken into the other top clubs through injuries typically and we don't usually have that problem.
