  1. I've been paying attention to Formula 1 Qualifying. Every time I look at this match, I see City players rolling around on the ground. Is Bournemouth kicking the shit out of them or have they gone to Pep's Barca School of Acting?
  2. WHAT A FUCKING HIT. I love goals like that.
  3. No context whatsoever. Just idiots trying to stir something up.
  4. If we stick with a 2-man midfield, there's absolutely no chance he'd leave sitting on the Bayern bench to come sit on our bench.
  5. Wouldn't surprise me if there's some shady stuff that's exposed regarding PSG in a few years.
  6. Makes sense. It's not like they were going to go through even with the easiest group My prediction for the group: Atletico: 14 Chelsea: 11 Roma: 6 Qarabag: 1 Chelsea 2-1 Qarabag Roma 1-2 Atletico Atletico 1-0 Chelsea Qarabag 1-1 Roma Qarabag 0-2 Atletico Chelsea 2-1 Roma Atletico 2-0 Qarabag Roma 1-1 Chelsea Qarabag 0-2 Chelsea Atletico 2-2 Roma Chelsea 2-2 Atletico Roma 2-0 Qarabag
  7. Drogba told Bakayoko how important the Spurs match was, so he went to Conte and told him he wanted to play. "It says a lot about the mentality of Bakayoko that he opted to play when clearly lacking fitness. Not a single person at the club expected Bakayoko to start against Tottenham: the logical thinking was that he could potentially make the bench. He was still a week or two from being in consideration to start. However, Bakayoko approached the manager during the week and told him that he wanted to play despite the numerous medical reasons telling him to wait. A source at the club confirmed that Conte was taken aback by the gesture. Bakayoko essentially told the manager “if you need me, I will run for 90 minutes and worry about it later”. Not many players willingly put themselves in that sort of situation; particularly when the opponent is both as good and as physical as this Tottenham side. A certain Ivorian idol of Bakayoko’s reportedly telling him the meaning of this fixture unquestionably helped."
  8. And that Klaasen clearance at the end was great
  9. I'm sure Shrek loved scoring against City again. For as much as I've hated Rooney throughout the years, I do enjoy seeing a player somewhat reborn, especially when he scores against Citeh. As long as he doesn't do it against us....
  10. Saw some Spuds fans saying we played dirty... WTF were they watching?
  11. All strikers miss chances. He was fine the rest of the match.
  12. Personally I thought Morata was fine, especially for his first start. Yes, he missed the header, but his off the ball work was good and right before he was brought off, he started to get more opportunities at goal. I'm not worried about it at all.
  13. I thought we played the same way we did against them in the semi-final. The difference was they were slightly better and we were missing important attacking options and made a few more errors (two that were crucial errors).
  14. Fun fact. Spurs have yet to score at home this season.
  15. Can someone get a screengrab of Lloris' face?! That's priceless!
  16. Fucks sake. Luiz raises an arm and it's a yellow. Kane does it and it's tenacity and will to win the ball. Fuck off
  17. That's not why. It's because a Tottenham player has to commit murder to get booked.
  18. Huddersfield with two wins in two matches. They'll win the league...
  19. Not entirely true. He's won the league every season he's been the manager of Juventus and Chelsea, but he never won the league with Atalanta, Siena, Arezzo and won Serie B once with Bari.
  20. sent my Arsenal supporting friend a text simply saying "you shouldn't have said anything about the Chelsea match last week."
  21. There were some ridiculous unpunished tackles in the Southampton-West Ham match as well. I don't know what's going on, but I've never seen Premier League referees this inconsistent before. The FA need to bring all of their Premier League referees in and find a way to be more consistent. One of the problems is the rules are so dependent on the referees interpretation, it's bound to be inconsistent. The biggest issue with that is the FA is scared to take retroactive action for fear of undermining their referees. Makes no sense.
  22. City was dominating early last season and look what happened to them, 15 points behind us will 11 worse goal difference. Yet everyone will continue to make their knee jerk predictions in hopes they can say "SEE! I TOLD YOU SO! ALL THE WAY BACK IN AUGUST!!!"
  23. JASON, why doesn't costa terminate his contract and then he can leave for free and he can become a free agent. Players can't just terminate their contract. If that were the case, transfers wouldn't exist.
  24. Me, I'm not going to believe anything he's saying right now. Not when he wants something from the club.
