Naaa he was not injured much during his time at Barcelona Depends on how you define 'improving' tbh, for example I am sure we still would have won or challenge for the BPL this season even without him, if we can win the CL however then yep he has improved us. Also he isn't injured in all of those seasons...yet it has been the same thing for nearly 10 years. The trend also continues now for us so it is him

Reasonable aka 150-200k per week min I wouldn't not when LAcazette...etc are for sale for 20-30m and on like 50-100k max and extremely young. Most important of all I want our strikers to have pace(Costa is ok, not the fastest but not the slowest either) but I don't want us to have to rely on someone like Drogba for 10 years again. I want a Aguero/Messi...etc type striker in the team who is capable of running from the half way line and score a solo goal.

He is now slow and weak, doubt he fits into Atletico style anymore. Then again Torres is doing OK under Simeone maybe Falcao will get a similar chance as well.

Shame about today, but it shows that sometime defending is not the best way to go, if only Schalke tried to play like this today 3 weeks ago they may well be through now. I hope Jose learns from this so if/when we meet Barca/Bayern/Real next and if we have to play the 1st leg at home it is not just happy with a 0-0 from the get go and aim to play in the 2nd leg as it will most of the time like today proves to be futile.

It is still just one season guys...no one need to get ahead of yourself. Look at Carlo, winning La Decima and then facing the sack barely a year later. Same with his time here when he won the double then we just somehow meltdown completely in the 2nd season. It is all good thinking about the long terms but with the way the modern world works just take it slowly and one at a time, not least we haven't won the league/CL...etc yet. Stability and the day of a manager staying 20 years like Alex Ferguson is over, Mourinho is unlikely to be able to replicate that I don't think no matter how much we all want it. Pep for example can win the league by record amount of points in 2 weeks but if they get raped in CL again he will be seen as a failure overall in his time at Bayern and I suspect some of their fans would want him out too. Also Klopp and Simeone, a couple of great seasons but now looks like going back down again. In a year Atletico might even be in relegation fight after another summer raid for Grizemann, Koke, Turan, Godin, Miranda...etc. Dortmund is the clearest example this season, who could have thought this 2 years ago?

Agreed Cuadrado needs to do more but it counts a 10 mins sub as a full game too and compared that with 70 mins or so every match Salah is getting is unfair atm. Maybe by the end of this season it would be more appropriate.

Apart from Liverpool away when they were at their worst he hasn't scored a big game winner yet. 2 against a now looking like terrible Everton side, 1 against Spurs which we lost anyway and a late goal against Arsenal which we probably would have hanged on. PSG is the perfect chance to open his CL account for us, tiredness is not an excuse because the whole team had a whole week to rest.
