Still won nothing yet...in 2 weeks could be out of CL, lost the Final and lead cut to like 1-4 points. It changes every week and until we hold up a trophy it all means NOTHING. Hate it when people keep bringing these things in a debate. It is like when people are questioning some of his tactics people start to bang on how he is a manager God and because he won 2 CL no one got the right to question anything about him.

No one is doubting him, just that some are concerned with his big game form since after that Liverpool game away in the league, him struggling at highest football level in CL doesn't help the cause either. Also Simeone risked him because he is their best ST, what on Earth does that have to do with anything...Also for his battles with Pepe-Ramos I only remembered him scoring twice against Madrid in years. 1 was that league away win last season and another was the Copa final in Mou's final match. Since then he is still involved but scored 0 against them.

Naaa wasn't criticizing him for that, just simply saying some time stats can be misleading. For example Luiz Adriado is on like 10 goals this season but 5 were against some terrible CL side in one match or something. He is not where near good enough for us, but looking at stats he would be as good as Messi since they got similar number of goals. Also the Drogba comparison is irrelevance, he scored against MU, Arsenal, Spurs...etc in that season as well. FA Cup winner too.

It was extremely over inflated. 3 were against one of the worst Milan side in their history, 1 against us was a pen, 2 against some Austria team, 1 against a shit Zenit, the other couple were against a average Porto team as well.In fact apart from scoring a couple of time against Madrid, he never actually score that much in all his years there against them. Never scored against Barca too

But Cech saving 2 shots straight at him against Everton is a lot better...I agree he didn't do anything out of the ordinary tonight, but then again that is what a top class GK does. Sometime it is not about punching a 30 yards driver on to the bar but making sure the really basic sticks.

Nothing to do with his fitness, just overall style of play. This is not the first game this season either which he goes missing when it begins to get physical and tough. He is just not suited to that type of football, nothing wrong with that as he got other area of his games which he is superior to majority of other mids in the world. Lets face it, he doesn't have the energy to press for 90 mins, it is not his specialty. At Barca and Arsenal he never had to do it because they dominated possession 90% of all their games.

The scary thing is I can really see him getting frustrated by this state eventually and does something extremely stupid and get a sending off+ long ban. He is not like Torres, he is more like Suarez who will be doing stupid things when he is pushed to the limit of frustration.

Away from home against big teams yep. We are never gonna do a Bayern or Real in CL for the last 2 years. At home though we can match ANYONE.

Exposed YET AGAIN in a big match...that myth isn't wrong after all. Really tempted to want Mou drops him in QF away from home leg and generally from now on against physical big teams. He is gonna develop into a Oscar, always goes missing in big games and his work rate is not even as good as Oscar anyway.

If this dude plays in the return leg we are fucked.
