  1. Costa straight swap for Grizemann will be fine too if he is unhappy for me. Only concern I have with Grizemann is while he is quick he is not Walcott type quick and his fitness in intensive big games are questionable judging by him being routinely substitued 1st most of the time against big sides for Atletico.
  2. Meh if he leaves we can sign replacement, I am convinved he is semi-permanently damaged his hamstring anyway, if we monitor it well he can be like Robben nowadays or not and he could turn into our Torres post Liveprool move. Always can go for someone like Lacazette who imo will immediately agree to move to us if we signal our interest, or just get someone like Grizemann in return who shows he is full of goals as well anyway.
  3. He has already done it before for Atletico and got a ban...chance are eventually one day he will get a frustating game and will do a Suarez moment like that. I agree being on the edge is good, sometime you feel he actually TRY TO DO IT ON PURPOSE though and it usually backfires. No one is asking him to be Torres and let Ferdinand makes him his bitch but he doesn't need to try every single game to do it either. For example West Brom in a pointless game which we lost anyway partly because of an incident started by him. If no one is making it clear to him he thinks it is acceptable and will carry on doing it, which will eventually one day result like that PSG game in which he should have got at least 4 yellow cards, he will NOT BE GETTING AWAY in the future.
  4. 15m with 5m add-ons and I WOULD FLOG HIM immediately, imo we should lose a couple of millions now rather than wait until jan/summer 2016 when he will be worth like 10m max.
  5. One incident...I agree I like his competitiveness as well but there has to be a limit, will you care when he headbutts someone and get a 15 matches ban?
  6. He is gonna be the new Liverpool Torres if we don't sign a top class striker to challenge him. Atletico probably made that hamstring problem semi-parmanent with the overusing of him during the end of last season. Now this season it shows that it never really fully recovered and we were lucy enough to control it for the majority of the 1st half of this season. I bet he will miss around at least a couple of months next season unless something dramatically changes between now and then(surgery). Someone like Lacazette is a must for me, maybe even Benteke is OK too.
  7. He has scored 50 goals in 96 appearances for them in the last 2 seasons, that is good enough for me to challenge with Costa. Apparently they want £42M for him though, that is WAY TOO MUCH.
  8. Yep only costs around 25m...awesome squad player More chance of him joining Spurs than us
  9. Agent came out and said he wants to leave today, also has a 50m euros as a release clause. Imo he has been the best BBVA CB this season and he is being heavily linked with MU, maybe we should at least compete?
  10. Even if he has stayed he would have left eventually maybe 1-2 years later anyway because he always said he wanted a career around Europe top teams at one point. I would rather he left Inter for Madrid than us for Madrid, that would have made many of us very bitter and thankfully didn't happen. As for his love it is undeniable...think he loves all the clubs he managed apart from maybe Madrid, but he still respects them.
  11. He might not even become a good coach, why on Earth do people think every legend leaving us should automatically join our coaching staff? Just because you are a good striker doesn't mean you are a good defender and the same concept applies here. If this was the case every single football club will be filled with ex players and people like Jose would never be able to coach a top team. Same with Drogba, Cech, Cole and others. They NEED TO PROVE THEMSELVES AS GOOD COACHES 1ST. This is done by getting badges, training...etc and maybe work at a smaller club 1st to show their potential if they have any at all. Being a good player doesn't mean a good coach, as many players like Shearer and others found out.
  12. Depends, if Spurs come in and offer 20m I am not sure we can refuse.
  13. Won't happen, he already said he will only leave to a top club where he will be no1. I am thinking maybe Arsenal, MU, Liverpool, Spurs(if Lloris leaves) or some foreign teams like Milan, Lyon or something.
  14. Except Courtois ego doesn't allow it and he has always set numerious time before he won't do it. Also Barcelona are different because they already signed Ter Stegen before Bravo and was plannning to make him no1 but probably changed their mind after Bravo WC performance and the transfer ban. It is not a good idea anyway, generally not in the long term. I am sure one of those 2 at Barca will demand to be made full time eventually or will leave.
  15. I am not playing down his achievement with us, that 2011-12 season will forever be remembered as one of our best in our history and rightly so. But his ABILITY as a coach is questionable, sacked by West Brom, Chelsea and now Schalke. Basically he failed with keeping a relegation contender team up, one of the best team in the world to maintain position at the top and fail to help a potential top 4-5 club in Germany to their aim of a CL place. Maybe his place is at the lower division with teams aiming for top flight pormotion. That is the cold hard truth after the past 3 years. Just because we played all out attacking in those 1st couple of months 2012-13 doesn't mean he is a natural attacking coach. It was DEMANDED by Roman and he duly obliged to keep his job.
  16. At the end of the day is that 2-3m net worth it over another BPL title? I am sure Frank will be asking himself this question for maybe the rest of his life in private. Sure he might point that money put food on the table and put his kids to uni, but with him being worth like 20m+ now is it REALLY WORTH IT over the BPL title he would have won has he chosen to stay for at least 1 season on much lesser wages? Anyway now he is leaving BPL for good I just hope the people still hating him to stop and accept he is one of us. He made choices and I am sure he has some regret about it whether he will ever admit it or not, the only difference between Lampard and Drogba 2012 was that one went a direct rival while the other went to a Eastern Europe country.
  17. Just to show that always keep going no matter how big a set back you encounter and you will most likely be rewarded in the end.
  18. Well when bus parking is your main tactic it won't help in the long term...apart from that crazy Madrid game every time I seen them play they have been terrible whether that is against good or bad teams. A couple of good performance against Bayern and Madrid inflated his reputation imo. Overall his level is probably Championship at best
  19. Sacked by Schalke apparently, that is his top level managerial career over for good. Surprising considering they beat Madrid a couple of months ago.
  20. Possible Chelsea career too, unless a miracle happens think he will go the Salah road now.
  21. Cuadrado's potential last ever start for Chelsea. One of our worst ever signing.
  22. Losing on our title lifting day...compared to that 8-0 win 5 years ago
  23. Think he is slowly becoming worse than Torres. Now he is so afraid of making a mistake he often stays behind Ivanovic and not even making runs. When he does try to make runs he usually loses the ball which will damage his confidence even more. Think pre-season is his last chance already, if these traits aren't fixed he is gone. He might be gone anyway if we sign Sterling. This just shows how you can never really judge a player on WC ever again. I mean Costa and Spain played like shit and they are still some of the best players in their positions, while players like Cuadrado, that Mexico GK and load of Chile players are now show they are shit despite the tournament.
  24. So if he wants to leave we will go Liverpool-Suarez style on him that is the behavior of a mid table team...remember the key is IF HE WANTS TO LEAVE.
  25. He said he would sell any player that doesn't want to work with him and stay at the club so he basically used Sterling as an example, not specifically saying he would sell him because he wouldn't want him here.
