Qualifying for the UCL is massive, no matter how anyone tries to say otherwise and if we don't qualify this year, we're in trouble. It's not about the money or the players we can buy, it's about the club, the fans and the players we already have. The Hazard's and Mata's, Luiz's, Oscar's of this world will get restless and might start making noises that they want to leave and that's the last thing we want because our future currently looks amazing if we can get the last couple of pieces in the jigsaw and qualify for the UCL for next season. We want to get better and bigger as a club and progress. Failing to qualify for Europe's elite competition will send us backwards. That's not good for our future, our fan base or our worldwide brand. And what about us, the fans? The loyal fans who spend lots of money and time on this club to be the best. The fans love to have bragging rights, we want to be proud of our team and to be able to gloat and brag about what we've done and not have the piss taken out of us by yids n arse fans saying how much money we've spent in the last 10 years compared to them, yet they're in the Champions League and we're in the Europa fucking League. We can't have that. If we come 5th, i'll be gutted. And also there are more games in a UEL campaign than a UCL campaign i think, no? It's better to come 6th if we're not gonna come 4th. If we don't make top 4, we need to just hope that our players stick with us. If this exciting Chelsea future never happens and never gets to the level it should, i'll be so devastated. Oh and also we can all forget about Mr. Mourinho coming back if we fall outside the top 4. There is absolutely nothing good whatsoever in not qualifying for the UEFA Champions League.

Hoping Man Utd win the title at the Emirates too, that would be sweet and a bit of revenge for 2002. If our game against Yids is moved, it's gonna be interesting to see when it happens. It could be a straight shoot out for UCL football and what we did to them by winning the UCL last season, they'd be so motivated for that. I'd be worried.

NextGen - Fixtures, Results & Highlights 2012/13

Beating Arsenal in the semi has just made all of those boys legends for me already. Our youth record since around 2008 has been nothing short of sensational, just a shame they will all probably be plying their trade elsewhere in the future because of what we are now. Villa also have a very sound youth system and it will be a very hard final. What a wonderful tournament it would be to win. And look of the names we've beaten. Fantastic achievement. -
Can't see Ronaldo ever wanting to come to us and there is no way either will come if we don't make the top 4.
-
He's not good enough at all which is a shame. Ash is trying his best with him, working with him on a regular basis but i just can't see him ever being good enough unfortunately. We should bring back PVA, i remember seeing him shine against Newcastle in a Carling Cup game a few years ago, his attacking threat is much better than Bertrand's although RB is maybe a better, safer defender. I'd love us to have PVA and Shaw in 2 or 3 years time.
-
Flying atm? Before yesterday's game they lost 3 in a row conceding 8 goals. We need to just make sure we beat them. It will probably be the key game of the season.
-
That's the thing now, these teams that have nothing to play for. It might also work in our favour. Liverpool probably have nothing to play for when we go there, Man Utd will already be champions, Swansea's season is over which is more annoying since they've laid down again both north london dirt, Everton last game could be meaningless for them. But then it also makes teams play with more freedom. I do think Tottenham may win all 3 too worryingly but the game we have with them is huge.
-
Actually, looking at the table and the fixtures, Sunderland WILL go down this season.
-
Tottenham's next 3 games are Everton (H), Chelsea (A), Man City (H). Obviously 3 very tough games.
-
They beat Dortmund 4-1 away... weird team. He does love Hamburg though and yeah he's now close to his wife.
-
Sorry, but Bayern Munich 9-2 Hamburg. Really? Oh dear. They had 15 mins to get a 10th too.
-
Sunderland sacking O'Neil is not really a shock but it's their useless players just not doing anything. I don't really think it's O'Neil's fault because he's a good manager but there is defo something wrong there. He'll be good at Everton next season.

Kalou was comedy but at least he was there to show us his comic talents. Where was Marin today? We need these guys to help us when our first team players aren't there.

Are we going to finish in the top 4? - Achieved!

I'm pessimistic because i think we're gonna fail to make the top 4? Nah.. i'm being realistic. We play great one game then play awful for 2. The hectic fixture schedule is taking its toll, the squad rotation is needed but the players coming in aren't good enough. Marin and Moses were awful today, Oscar was non existent and Torres... no need to say anything about him. The way we started the season, we should be 3rd comfortably, maybe even second. The last 6 months have been disgusting. -

Can't see it now, we've blown it horribly. Arsenal have easy games, we have tough games, Tottenham are probably more motivated and hungry to get 4th and their run in is ok so after today's game, i think we'll be 5th. Today's result is a disaster, a complete disaster. -
Rafa wants a pay-off. He wants to get sacked, clearly.
-
Terrible result at a terrible time. I know we rested players but it still shoulda been a lot better than that shit. The Southampton games have killed us this season and now us qualifying for the UCL will depend on the Tottenham game i guess. Arsenal have easy games, you know what they're like, they will make the top 4, they always do. This result really hurts us and if we fail to qualify for the UCL, it could be the end of us, seriously. We're in a hell of a lot of trouble right now, it's a fucking mess. Gutted with this result, thoroughly outplayed by an average team. Another gutless performance i'm afraid.
-
There's only 1 thing i can say about Man Utd. They win. They play horrible football and they get extremely lucky time after time but they win. It's depressing. Today, 1-0, own goal, they won. Nothing else to say.
-
Half a dozen of those players are fighting for their futures. A defeat today with a shit performance and they will be gone.
-
The shittest Man Utd team i've ever seen, and i seriously mean that from the bottom of my heart, yet they just somehow win, win, win, win, win. Once again they've been shit and they win. That Sunderland team have nothing. This time last year i said "Next season Sunderland will go down". They might have a bit too much this season to go but they will go soon because they are an awful, blunt, toothless team that has absolutely nothing but about 20 Championship players. There's not a quality player there. Johnson, Sessegnon, Fletcher and Mignolet are close but i believe they are the worst team in the league. They'll get found out soon, i swear on it.
-
I think he's chose the right team. They are all fresh and we have a very busy schedule. It's still a team that can win, even though it will be very difficult, i think we can win the game. Sometimes you have to take a chance. Man Utd on Monday and lots more games to come in a short time. It's not an awful team selection, you have to understand why he's gone with it. Let's just see how it goes. I must admit though, i don't think we'll win now but it doesn't mean we can't. You can see it though can't you, we go 1-0 down, bring the big guns on and then push and push and fail to get anything. It's a big risk.
-
We've shown our best and worst against Southampton this season. I just hope we can recreate that performance we had there in the FA Cup with the same team that played that game. Our football was quite outstanding in that game. It will be a tough game but a game we should win and i'm confident we will. 3-1.
-
Juninho is the best ever because he scored nearly all of them, it was almost like a penalty to him. His success rate was awesome. Also when i watched La Liga a while ago, there was someone for Betis called Marcos Assuncao. He was also unbelievably good. The best Free Kick takers are players with the best ratio and success rate. Beckham is great but i don't see him score really often. I also like Xavi but he doesn't take as many as he should.

I actually like that, but then again as the first ever Chelsea shirt i watched us in had red, in fact the Chelsea i fell in love with were a blue, white and red Chelsea so i've always been happy to see a bit of red in our kits. Arsenal have worn white and wear blue often, City wear red and black, Man Utd wear blue.

We've been there and done it in the FA Cup. If we lose, it will set up a great Manc derby at Wembley, if we win, we'll have another extremely tough game against City and they've already humiliated us twice this season. Rooney and Rio have never won the FA Cup. We've won it enough. Although i'd like us to win it, i feel top 4 is priority this season. If we win nothing and come 3rd, i'll be pretty satisfied after what has been a tough season. Maybe that Mata chance was the chance to win the tie. And yes, 12:30 KO on a BH monday for a big game is crap but i suppose there wasn't much alternative. I'm pretty relaxed going into this game, if we lose, it's not a disaster. I'd prefer a win on Saturday.
