That was awful, the first half was ok but the second was absolutely disgusting. In an ideal world, they will be happy to compete with each other in 2 years. GK's can last a while and not just Van Der Sar, Friedel is also still a top class GK. What's best for the club is to have Courtois competing with Cech, having 2 great GKs. Both points are good though, whatever the situation, we're in a good place with GKs. Cech being injury prone is probably just about fair tbh so maybe it would be good to get Coutois in. Even next season into the squad to give him the cup games for a season and see how he does.

Personally i'll be gutted to see Cech playing for another team whilst he's still a top keeper. He's a club legend and the longer he's Chelsea's, the better. But that's just my preference. Courtois is probably at the wrong club at the wrong time or maybe he's just progressed quicker than he should've done at Atletico. It's an iffy predicament. I personally would cash in on Courtois and wait for another in 5 or more years. We have coped somehow for a few years with hopeless back ups, hopefully it can carry on.

Hate these types of weekends with no football. Especially putting the International games on Fridays now but if anyone is really truly bored like me, there's the FA Trophy Final between Grimsby and Wrexham from Wembley. Cech is 30. He's got possibly 8-10 years left. look at Van Der Sar, he was 40? And still in the top level of football. Courtois is better than a 2nd choice bench warmer but he's not better than our current number 1.

Cech is still by far the best keeper in the prem. I hope he still has 5 years with us or more and we cash in on Courtois. Might as well, he already has a winners medal which he won against us the bastard lol. He needs to play consistently now but we can't just let Atletico have him for 3 or 4 years for basically free.

He's had an insane season but i think these rumours are bound to happen because of it. He'll be linked with everyone i suppose. I'd like to see him have 2 or 3 more of these kinds of seasons or maybe join a better league first to see just how good he is. Although that would probably put his valuation up. We need 1 proven guaranteed world class striker who's at the very top level. We have Lukaku and Ba for options already.

I watched Atletico against Sociedad the other week and they were so poor. I think with the variety of players we have behind the striker, Falcao would be unbelievably good for us, you can tell just by seeing the assists Hazard and Mata have already this season and that's not counting the chances our idiot striker has missed. Falcao is beastly in the air, from the spot, he even takes a mean FK on occasion and scores many types of goal. If Torres does go in part exchange, i will literally Jizz. He's not old either, if you think 27, coming up to 28 is old, you need desperate help. He'll have 4 or possibly even 5 years, that's pretty much the norm for most players anyway. Then we simply replace him. Ba, Lukaku, Falcao. We'll never be short again and for all the games we play, 60 odd sometimes, we need it.

Aaron Lennon is absolute shit, he has pace but nothing else. Hazard is so much better than him, it's almost like they play different sports. Lennon is like SWP, Jerome Thomas etc. Can run but can't score and can't cross. Pace is good but only if you can do something with it. Hazard is the only genuine world class winger in both squads combined. He is that good. Every England - Belgium mixed team should have Hazard. I chose Hart because of his experience although Courtois really is playing better than him this season.
