I was reading that too lmao. Was very funny indeed. Ferguson has never lost after being 2-0 up in 39 years as a manager? That Mata chance hurts so much more now!
-
We certainly didn't look tired today in the 2nd half. If that went on for 10 more minutes, we woulda won the game. If we play with the adrenaline, enthusiasm and tempo with that real desire to win, tiredness isn't noticed. When we were in the zone, we were in the fucking zone today. Tbh Man Utd were pretty fucking awful after they went 2-0 up. our squad are young rich boys, they ain't tired. At least Rio's honest.

Very impressed with him today when he came on. Seemed a weird substitution but it worked well. Some games he really does look like a boss in there. Again, he's young still and will be with us for a long time like it or not. He's not the most consistent player in the world but he does a job. Very good today.

Just got NUTS'd

Torres shoulda been a good sport and headbutted him, getting a 6 month ban and breaking his nose.
-
Hazard - Oscar - Mata - Moses - De Bruyne. If these guys stay and are here for 10 years, we're gonna see 10 wonderful years of Chelsea FC. If Roman doesn't decide to rock the boat, the world really is there for us to claim. Nobody can boast a similar selection or CAMs like that.

Voted for Luiz, he was so good all game. Wanted to chose Hazard but i chose Luiz as he played the whole game. The real Chelsea finally showed up today. We've came back from 2-0 down twice against Man Utd this season and beat them in the League Cup from 3-2 down and 2-1 down. Play like we did today and we'll be safely in the top 3 and will win the Europa League. FA Cup is still tough.
-
Meh play it tomorrow lads you'll be fine.
-
And it's another game to worry about, another big game, nervy game and another game i'll be swearing and shouting n shit. Suppose we only came back because i had a 3 game accumulator of Man Utd, Liverpool and Man City at around 5/1. Have absolutely no idea when we'll possibly play this replay. might be about 3 weeks. Our squad players better get ready because we need em in the league now. We have a few league games that we must win. West Ham, Southampton and Sunderland are all must win up until the massive game against yids at the bridge.
-
Tottenham literally committed suicide in that game which was good for us. I don't really think 4th is very nice, coming back in July to try n qualify for the UCL. Those 2 last goals were pretty funny.
-
And we still have to go to Old Trafford in the League. I cannot wait for that now. If we play like we did today, we win the game and hopefully Man Utd have the title already in the bag by then anyway. I still have a bad feeling about the replay though because of the Mata chance in the last few mins. I feel that was our chance to win the tie. That woulda been in my top 5 Chelsea wins of all time if we'd won that 3-2. Now that chance will be in my mind for weeks, i'll even probably dream about it lol. Let's knock em out both cups at the bridge after getting screwed there in the league.

All i can say is wow! I'm stunned actually but also a bit gutted we didn't get the winner, it would've been the most unbelievable feeling if we had won that game, one of the best ever. I'm so proud of the lads but i don't understand why we can't do this in so many other games. This is what happens if you have a real go. We have a fantastic team, today showed exactly what we can do. I swear if Hazard, Oscar, Moses and Mata stay with us for the best part of a decade, we'll be unbelievably good. when this team gets their finger out and actually gives this level of performance on a consistent basis, we'll be fucking great. Hazard was awesome when he came on, completely changed the game. I just wish we'd show this level more often. This was as good as when we were playing Arsenal and Tottenham in the early parts of the season. The real Chelsea played today and some pride was restored.
-
That Millwall - Blackburn game was as shit as the stuff played in my local park. No football in it whatsoever. Think i'll watch 30 mins of Scouse - Yids, can't watch both, my concentration will be all over the place.
-
Torres on current form is probably worth about £3m but he is Fernando Torres at the end of the day so could go for a bit more. Still... we could just SACK HIM as i've said before. Higuain, i'm just not so sure about. He's not dangerous enough.
-
Apparently speaking to "Chopper" yesterday, Moyes has been at Chelsea's last 3 home games. I also think that it's inevitable that he will leave Everton after this season, especially after their 3-0 humiliation yesterday means another trophyless season. If we don't get Jose, Moyes is a real possibility. Anyway... Big games today. Liverpool vs Tottenham and Man Utd vs Chelsea. Can't believe both games are kicking off practically at the same time, would been great to watch both. Got a feeling Liverpool will do Tottenham tbh.
-
Higuain is so hot and cold but i would welcome him because he has shown glimpses of brilliance. Just worry about him in the really big games, he seems to be playing hide and seek. He's probably one of the worst finishers i've ever seen though so not too convinced. Shouldn't pay more than £15m for him. Sell Torres for £15m, buy Higuain for £15m? Works for me.
-
Very true, but surely those near misses must give us even more motivation. You'd think so anyway but with our shit atm, you just never know what can happen and what's going on in their heads. I hope the players believe they can win. I also wish the game was earlier.
-
Welcome. You to us is a bit like Cahill to Terry. Terry tries for nearly a decade to win the UCL, sweat, blood, tears, everything that could possibly go wrong, goes wrong. Gary Cahill comes in, wins it straight away and is like WTF is all the fuss about dude! Chelsea are a special club, even the striker is 'special' in a slightly different way. Hope you enjoy your time here.
-
When you have the players that we have, there is always hope, especially in a one-off cup tie that the players will surely want to win. Forget the manager, the players are 3 games away from another medal. Medal's are what players strive for. Now, as we're so close to the later stages once again, the motivation has to be there. I believe we'll get a performance today, just probably not a result. But there's no doubt we can beat them.

Bought tickets to see Ron "Chopper" Harris yesterday in Ewell, i spoke to him about the game and even he doesn't see us winning today. To be honest though, my thoughts have slightly changed, i mean i do believe we can win. I look at our squad and see a dynamic, wizardly trio in Hazard, Oscar and Mata if they are all on their game. I see a strong clinical goalscoring machine in Ferna....Demba Ba. I see a brilliant goalkeeper, the best in the world in my opinion in Cech and i see a very capable back 4 whoever we play. We also have many great options between the back 4 and the front 4. I don't see much in Man Utd that worries me except the goalscoring abilities of RVP and maybe Rooney, he's always played well against us and after the headlines in the week, i think it's pretty much a dead cert bet on him to score today unfortunately. I'm gonna give the players the benefit of the doubt and say Thursdays game was in horrible conditions, shit pitch, against a load of crap accepting that anything other than a real stuffing would more than likely see us through anyway in the 2nd leg. I'll try and convince myself that the players were just trying to conserve energy as we've played a lot of games this season. I do think we'll thrash Steaua in the 2nd leg 4 or 5 nil anyway tbh. We need to put in a real performance today, we need to produce what we did at WHL and The Emirates and play at our absolute best. I feel we can do it. Old Trafford is a great stage and in an FA Cup Quarter Final against Man Utd at Old Trafford with a Wembley Semi next, if the players are not motivated for this, they'll never be motivated for anything. No fucking about today, we need to be at our best and maybe take advantage of Man Utd's Euro KO and maybe their tiredness as they played catch up against Real for 20 mins with 10 men in a real big game. Whereas i don't believe we will win the game, i know we CAN win the game. I just hope the real Chelsea show up today.
-
We should terminate his contract. Simple as that.
-
Win every game? How many games have you counted recently that we've won and do you think with the players and resources we have that this is acceptable? We have a bunch of players that don't give a fuck atm and i am not happy with that. Last year the team showed guts and passion, all that i have stated but this season it's gone so down hill, we're losing to Steaua, drawing against Prague and Brentford, hiring managers we all hate... If we win something this season, it will be a fucking miracle. Just because i support the club, i'm not gonna pretend that everything's great and that we're playing brilliantly and everything's all rosey in the garden. I'll continue to give my support, i hope we win something but come on, open your eyes and look at what we have become. We're a laughing stock and an embarrassment to the game. Wish we could fast forward 2 or 3 years. I mean ffs we moan about having a small squad... how many on loan do we have? 23? This is the worst it's been since roman arrived, just the UCL win from last season makes it seem not so bad. the writing was on the wall after that Atletico game in truth. Was sure a sign of things to come, and then failing to win the Club World Cup. This season has been awful and i'm fed up of sticking up for this team and the players. We care, i write angrily because i fucking care, if i didn't give a shit i wouldn't waste my time venting my frustration. Tbh i'm still angry. The players, they don't seem to care. That yesterday was not a performance of European Champions. And as for Torres... If i did my Job to the level he did his, i'd be sacked.

We all hated the day Robbie was sacked and Rafa was appointed, but did anyone really expect it to be this bad? This is for you Roman, this is for you.

Damage limitation in this one. Now i know how it feels to be a Fulham fan, going to old trafford with the thoughts on how many we will lose by instead of what the outcome will be. In my whole Chelsea supporting life i expected us to do well against Man Utd away. 93/94 we won 1-0, slightly before my time but they when i got involved... 94/95 we got a 0-0 away, 95/96 we drew 1-1, 96/97 we won 2-1 on my Birthday, 97/98 we drew 2-2 etc etc even when we were average we had the magic touch there. Now, it feels like it will be a miracle to beat them and we're reigning european champions, as we've been told way to many times in the last few months, mostly sarcastically. We have the players to beat them, we do, that's the worst part about this. We have one hell of a talented squad but they just are not performing. All is not good in the world of Chelsea FC atm. Our FA Cup run is about to come to an end. I just fear that we'll get smashed, not just beat but really humiliated. Still.... we or should i say the players, owner and hierarchy deserve it. Part of me wants to see us get hammered just because of who's in charge and sends out a big message to mr Russian Owner.
-
Our owner deserves that. Fuck Chelsea, we're loaded apparently. He's better off with the kids than he is in our team.
