  1. Ranieri signed Cech, Robben, Crespo, Lampard, Joe Cole, Veron, Makelele, Duff and Mutu. Mourinho signed Sidwell, Boulahrouz, Ben Haim, Kalou, Smertin, Jarosik and SWP :0
  2. He'll be back for 14/15 as back up to experience a few games in certain competitions, then he'll be number 1 in the 15/16 season. 100% guaranteed. Cech will go to Monaco or something...
  3. In regards to his final season...The 03/04 season was really exciting because we just never knew what was gonna happen next. We were signing the likes of Crespo, Makelele, Veron... players with huge stature from huge teams. We were getting world superstars. Can't believe that was 10 years ago. When we beat Lazio 4-0 then Newcastle 5-0 3 days later, i was in dream land, it was unbelievable and Crespo's double against Wolves spanking them 5-0 away, Makeleles debut i think, he was superb. I never thought i'd be supporting a team like this. I realised what it feels like supporting a top side. I looked forward to every game so much that season because i wanted to see our stars wearing a Chelsea kit. We may not of won anything that season but we sure as hell knew that something amazing was happening and it was only a matter of time. Just thank fuck we beat Liverpool on the last game of the 02/03 campaign, we never know what may have happened if we hadn't won that game.
  4. The Ranieri days were fun and that's something i never thought i'd say when he was appointed. We'd just lost at home to Leicester 2-0, even Stan fucking Collymore scored ffs, things were getting really bad but we still believed in Luca. Just seemed something was wrong though. The Gullit sacking was weird before Vialli, but when Vialli was sacked and replaced by this guy who'd just relegated Atletico Madrid (With Jimmy Floyd, who he'd reunite with) ... i just simply thought "WTF!" I knew nothing about the guy. The first game, 3-3 at Old Trafford was a sign of things to come, we played attacking football and somehow he got something out of the players. I think Ranieri showed that an experienced manager knows a lot more than an inexperienced ex player going into his first job. I suppose it was also the thinking of Roman when he hired Benitez. The 03/04 season was hard for him really because he was linked with losing his job all through that season but the football was enjoyable. His best season was 02/03 because he got the team to a new level on his own from when he took over and really bought the team on in 2 years from when he took over in 00/01. From 1999/2002 we were really losing the plot after having the great success from 97/99, we'd just simply had to rebuild. Claudio's work came to fruition in that 02/03 season. He came in at a tough time and went through a lot with us under different regimes and our massive transition to being a world super power. I'll always have great respect for our tinkerman.
  5. Just in games against weak pussies like Arsenal i'd like to see it. I loved it when we brutally out muscled arsenal. The greatest 5 years of my life.
  6. I hope Jose brings back the 4-3-3 with Lampard, Mikel and Essien bossing it and out muscling every cunt going, especially Arsenals weedy cunts.
  7. Hardly a shock though. He was composed because he knew it was only a matter of time that it was going to happen. He shoulda just resigned there n then.
  8. Bad refereeing but it didn't really change anything. I remember Charlton scoring against us the same way, a Paul Konchesky header. Again, though, it probably didn't change the course of the event much. Brazil still holding on to their home record. That Fred... shit this guy knows how to score goals. His first goal today was exceptional. To hold off Chielini and not go down to then smash it home, that's how football should be. Great stuff. Spain - Brazil final? I really hope so.
  9. I've said it 100000 times to various people that Rooney will come here. Mourihno has always liked him and stated he'd love to work with him. He wasn't available then but he is now Jose. He'd flourish under Jose as the main striker, and he's English. I bet Wayne wants to come to us. And don't forget.... "once a blue, always a blue" on his t-shirt for Everton back in 2003 lol. Also we have Soho down here Wazza!
  10. Nice! That will inspire me to get even more lairy when i'm out watching Chelsea. You're only hated if you're good.
  11. How in the fucking hell can Armenia beat Denmark 4-0 away after losing at home to Malta? Someone (preferably Danish) care to explain? Especially as Denmark beat the Czechs 3-0 away and the Czechs beat Armenia easily 3-0 away on Cech's 100th cap. I know football doesn't necessarily work like that but come on, that's mad. But... 0-4? Four? Excuse me?
  12. £40m or look for someone else. Simple. He's not worth a penny more.
  13. I will get the black shirt because it's so classy, i can wear it for life and not need to get another black away shirt, ever. Plus i actually have black adidas tracksuit bottoms with silver stripes
  14. Cavaniii Woah, Cavani woah, Benitez came along, he said fuck this i'm gone, Cavanii....
  15. Came here because it was busy, thought he may have been put on the transfer list lol. Oh well, maybe next week. Will be interesting to see how Jose perseveres with him though. Intrigued.
  16. Can't believe Scotland won in Croatia, fucking insane result. The Belgians should thank them enormously. There are always some crazy results in these. Montenegro 0-4 Ukraine, thanks! Oh and yeah some guy called Balotelli got sent off.
  17. Nice to see red on it. The actual photo of it is nicer than the pics of it on the players. I'm guessing the 3rd one will be that black one, then.
  18. The media just assume that he's not the type of player Jose wants and write shit. People forget the amount of goals Real scored under Jose.
  19. We have to close the gap and at least contest the premiership. I think given the state of City and United, we can win the league next season because of Jose's experience and the experience the younger players got last season.
  20. After watching his whole interview, i think i got that bang on. He wanted "the grand slam" so he always planned to move on after completing England and as he was saying he was offered the Madrid job 3 times. He wasn't sacked and he's had the career he wanted. Him and Roman planned this all along.
  21. And mine for the next week. Be rude not to. Great work Niclas.
  22. I still can't believe it. I echo what most have said, it's a day i never expected to see after he left us 6 years ago. We're back on the football map and all the talk now will be about us. We've had all the Fergie stuff and rightly so but now it's our time! I cannot describe how happy i am right now. I've wished him to come back every day for 6 years, seriously i missed him. I don't even care if he let's people like Luiz go, i'm pro Jose and i'll back whatever he wants. IN JOSE WE TRUST! I'm gonna be back at the bridge next season, i'll go to at least 5 games and some cheap shitty league cup games too. I feel drunk but i've not drunk anything. I've enjoyed reading all of your comments too. Jose wasn't here for that long but he's made us all worship him like a god. Jose Mourinho is god. When Jose said "I'm one of you" it really brought a tear to my eye. The atmosphere at the bridge will be unbelievable next season. We love you Jose.
  23. The funniest thing is that so many people said forget about Mourniho, he's the past, he's had his time at Chelsea, move on and stop looking back. I bet theres a bit of that in the first few pages of this thread.
  24. Wank in the morning, i'm gonna... ok going too far. Wonder when it will be announced, hope it's before i have to go to work. I need something to put me in a good mood, it's monday ffs.
