True but they all feel pressure to win the UCL, they won the league last season, they've been there, done it. They've never won the UCL and that means that even against copenhagen, we'll struggle. We haven't been convincing in any Champions League game for a long time. Specially in the KO rounds. Even when we're flying in the league, banging goals in for fun, a UCL match brings a completely different mindset on certain players. Even DD has witnessed those horrible moments except 2004. 2004 Semi, 2-0 up, cruising. Monaco get a handball goal before h/t, game changes, match ends 2-2. All because of a handball goal from Ibarra. People forget that. 2005 Semi, from handball goal to ghost goal and that Gudjohnsen miss at the end 2006 round of 16, very dubious Del Horno red card helped us lose to Barca 2007 semi, Bloody pens and DD misses a sitter from under the bar... 2008 final, hit the woodwork twice, goes to pens, miss penalty to win, then lose 2009 semi, denied at least 3 clear penalties, concede in the last minute to get KO'd 2010 round of 16, shoulda had 2 pens for blatant pulling in the area from corners, but tbh we were 2nd best because of the psychology of previous years. 2011, You cannot be surprised the players go into a UCL match thinking "WTF next!" We'll get through the copenhagen game probably but definitely get screwed or bottle it later on.

Thought this would be some annoying bot spam job but its defo real. Nice to see the target has nearly been reached, best of luck. And he's in a Chelsea kit

Last season when we played em, we just had some nice free kick practice but were totally unconvincing winning 3-1. On Sunday, i hope we give em a wasting to get the goals flowing and the confidence up. It only takes a confidence boosting win, weak opposition or not, to get the season going again. 5-0

That psychological UCL thing will just stop us from winning the UCL, they've won the league 3 times recently so they should be more relaxed in the prem. The lack of form in the league is really about not having a fully fit first 11 throughout the season, lack of creativity and a cutting edge and a settled team.

Chelsea Reserves 7 Tottenham Reserves 3
Ollie replied to TrueChelseaBlue's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Robben Could use his right tho if he wanted, he dribbles both ways and uses both feet equally as good while doing it. Danny is way too left footed and defenses can easily cope with him on the wings. Robben right foot - Robben right foot - (From 1:50) -
Chelsea Reserves 7 Tottenham Reserves 3

Wow, and against those bastard jews too, awesome stuff. I'm 100% sure that Kakuta and Sturridge will play against Ipswich and i can't wait for it. Van Aanholt must play too. Should be a cracking game and their Chelsea careers should really kick start if all goes well. A Kakuta performance will worry Kalou and Anelka so much that they might actually have to do something about it like... play well. Same goes for Sturridge too but depends where he plays, he is a striker by trade and this reserve match shows he ain't a bad one either. All made better that Carlo was there watching it too. I still think Drogs should play tho, he needs goals and confidence so might play Sturridge and Kakuta out wide with Drogs in the middle. I'm also not sure what Danny is like as a lone striker, maybe we should experiment with a basic 4-4-2 with Lamps n Josh in the centre of Midfield. Kakuta and Malouda (or Kalou) out wide and Drogs and Danny up top. I'd love to see that. We should still win the game. Looking forward to it. -
He must feel so shit seeing kalou on the pitch so much where he should be. No wonder he looks like that in the picture, can't blame him. He's not 16-18 anymore, he's 21 and needs to play. He's good and will be even better with more full games. Said this tooooo much tho

A blip in form is say... 2-3 wins from 6 games or something. We've won 2 in 11, scoring 9 goals in that period and going from 5 points clear at the top to possibly 12 points behind in the space of 2 months. We are in crisis, that's the bottom line and nobody can deny it.
-
There's unrest at Chelsea, it's plain obvious. If Roman was seeing the players and talking to the staff and trying to lift them, they wouldn't be playing like they have done in the last 2 months. He's the owner, he's responsible. End of story. Btw i do think you're one of the best posters here, don't wanna argue with you too much but we certainly disagree on this one thing lol.

50% of this forum only started supporting Chelsea in the last 6 years because of the money and our rise to fame. I see so many Chelsea shirts in the street nowadays and i think to myself, i wish you saw what i saw you bastards between 1994-2003.
-
I think you mixed up the world class players and shit managers part up. The players go on the pitch and do the work, they are the ones that have won 1 in 9. Atm, they are shit.
-
Oh yeah, u was the other one last time wasn't you when i wrote about him. Well, he's the owner and he has to take full responsibility. Yeah, he gave us cash from about 2003-2006. What since? some of those players have departed like Shevchenko, Ballack, Deco, Carvalho to name but a few. Where's the money now and where's the replacements for the players. If anyone is ungrateful and ignorant, its RA himself. You don't just play with a team for 3 years and decide, fuck it. I wont do anymore. You help your club when it's in shit and you help the manager when he's under pressure. Has he ever even done an interview or anything backing up and defending his manager and players? I think not. Fuck him. He should be out now, putting on Chelsea's official site that Carlo's job is safe and he backs the players and the manager through this tough time and that things will get better soon. NOTHING!
-
Great for you. You seem to stop early for most stuff. Nobody gives a shit where you stopped or started tbh.
-
And what's your point? Why bring in Carlo if he aint gonna help or support him? He's just a moneybags owner that is blind to the situation at Chelsea right now. It's January, the transfer window is open, you have what...£7b? Is that not enough? fuck me.
-
This is all RA's fault. I don't give a shit what anyone here says, since 2007, he's slowly ruined this club when it was almost perfect. Champions 05 and 06, FA Cup and Carling Cup winners 07 and then we start a tiny bit slow in the 07-08 season and he sacks Jose. I hate saying Jose Mourinho's name, i absolutely hate it so much and i wish i could forget he exists but the fact of the matter is that if Roman had let Jose do his job in his own way, we would've won the fucking lot in 2008 and more in 09. Instead of 3 silver medals in 2008, we woulda had 3 gold ones without any doubt at all then maybe Jose coulda said thanks, i want a new challenge, i've done all i can. Now in 2010, we have a great manager but once again, Jose is being a prick and not letting him do what he wants and smart arse gets rid of Wilkins and gives Carlo no money to spend and staff on that bench that have no passion or desire. Carlo has only done what he's been allowed to do, he's restricted and if i was him, i'd just walk. He's not getting any support and this run of results since mid november is looking like his fault when it is clearly not. This could all have been prevented with a few quality and experienced players.

Too high profile for us. Chelsea signing Aguero is like Aston Villa signing Messi. WE-DO-NOT-BUY-WORLD-CLASS-PLAYERS
-
I'd still rather Carlo stay and Roman pull his finger (or his wallet) out.
-
That header from Ivanovic at Ewood made it our best start to a premiership season for 4 years. I thought we were gonna win the league after that, i was buzzing like crazy at full time and we were on a fucking roll. Now.... we're a team in absolute disarray. I think we'll get a sneaky 1-0 win here but wouldn't bank on it. No matter who we play, there's no assurance we'll win.
-
Ah wouldn't you just love Robbie Di Matteo and Eddie Newton back as number 1 and 2. Not hugely named experienced coaches tho so there's no chance of it happening. We need someone with Chelsea blood tho, this is ridiculous. This is the worst shit i've seen since 2001-2002 ish.
-
Essien has been awful in this run and dont even try and say he hasn't been. Bosingwa, Essien, Drogba, Kalou (consistently), Ramires, Ashley Cole and Anelka have all been awful lately and i mean, awful. We're in deep shit, seriously.
-
There's only one man fit for the job and available-ish. Guus Hiddink.

Greame Smith & Frank Lampard

His shit form started just after Carlo said that Anelka is in the best form of his career. An article i read on my phone from the BBC Chelsea football page 1 day before we played Liverpool. From 3 shots, to 2 shots, to 0 shots. What the hell is next lol, maybe a goal against wolves or 2. Can't stay shit forever.
