I would like the David Bentley that left Blackburn a lot more than the David Bentley that's at Tottenham. He's a good player with a great delivery but really goes missing for long periods of games. He tries too hard for the yids whereas at Blackburn he was a guaranteed starter at a team where theres not much ambition or pressure. Exactly the same as SWP. Feels the pressure of a big team that are expected to win nearly every game. He tried too hard and didn't play his natural way for us but with city before the money, he wasn't under huge pressure to deliver. Bit like Bentley at Tottenham, when Lennon is injured it's "Shit, i must be amazing or i'm out the team"

Yeah that game was the biggest waste of 90 minutes ever, Drogba lovesickness just got on my nerves that day too. It was a 100% meaningless game and still Carlo did nothing experimental. I can understand not doing it in a carling cup or fa cup game a bit because u can still get knocked out, but in a meaningless game, come on...

Interesting... Banners like that aint gonna help, but he (roman) just needs to realise that we need players and the right coaches and the fact that decisions like getting rid of Mourinho and Wilkins aren't gonna benefit the club in any way but have an adverse effect instead. Get the right staff, get the right players, keep the right staff and keep the right players and when players move on for one reason or another, replace them with players that we need. He's lacking in this area but we have to trust that he knows what he's doing. 03 Took over, paid our debts, gave us loads of money 04 Premiership Runners Up 04 UCL semi 05 Carling Cup 05 Premiership 05 UCL semi 05 Community Shield 06 Premiership 06 FA Cup Semi 07 Carling Cup 07 UCL Semi 07 FA Cup 07 Premiership Runners Up 08 Carling Cup Finalists 08 Premiership Runners UP 08 UCL Finalists 09 Community Shield 09 FA Cup 09 UCL semi 10 Premiership 10 FA Cup It's not been a bad half a dozzen years with the Russian. He's made some errors yes, like everyone does but he's still our owner and we gonna trust him. Yes, we want improvements but at the end of the day, it's all up to him.

Well Man City bought Adam Johnson when he was championship, he never really played for Boro in the prem, he was 2nd fiddle to downing syndrome. £2m, worth a go i suppose. Dunno where or when he's gonna play tho but he has scored some stunning goals in his career.

You could even play bosingwa as a winger when our back 4 is Cole, JT, Alex and Ivanovic as a right footed option. I think the way he plays could work. We have Ipswich at home in the FA Cup next weekend (i think). Surely the type of game to try something different. Maybe that option is unavailable for then but just anything different is worth a try.
-
The problem is that you need 2 proper, world class wingers to use a 4-3-3 properly. We only have one good winger in our squad and that's Malouda. Kalou is never going to give you a succession of great (or good) performances and Anelka is just a wandering striker who simply cannot play out there. I would have Malouda and Zhirkov on the wings, rotating like Duff and Robben did for us so well 5 years ago (fuck me, is it that long ago...). Both left footers too, it will confuse so many teams defences. Duff and Robben were instrumental to our first 2 title wins, especially the first one. Malouda and Zhirkov could be just as good and have a similar impact if they are used properly.

Surely Roman can't be happy with the current situation. Surely, if he can waste £40m-ish on Ramires and Zhirkov (i like Zhirkov but he's not worth that much), he can do the decent thing and try and strengthen this weak squad when we really need it. It clearly needs strengthening unless there's something we dont know. Maybe he's gonna shock us all out of the blue, he hasn't said anything like "If i sign someone in January, i'll run around Chelsea naked" yet so you never know.

Also Essien hasn't been good at all lately either. It will happen soon where the players fire again but we are starting to run out of time for it to happen. We have to go on a run starting on Wednesday in Wolves. We didn't deserve to beat Villa anyway if truth be told. We've been a tad unlucky on the fixtures too, that may seem weird to say that but we're playing everyone when they desperately need something from the game. Next we have Wolves who are bottom having just lost a huge game against West Ham. Villa were in free-fall, Arsenal had just lost to Man Utd etc. Wolves need to get something from wednesdays game and that, once again will make it tougher than usual.

At the end of the day, you must do 2 things. 1) Celebrate after the final whistle when we've officially won the match. 2) Make sure you hold onto the lead if you're gonna celebrate a last minute goal to put you ahead (Like when Lamps scored against Stoke in the dying seconds and the players ran to Scolari) Bottom line is, we fucked up yesterday big time and huge lessons would've been learned. While the game is still going on, anyone has time to score. I don't blame them for celebrating like that, hell i did pretty much the same with my dad and my brother, we went fucking mad. it's spare of the moment but when you score like that, you have to fucking hold onto it. Disastrous ending.
-
We aint gonna smash anybody. Scrappy single goal win i guess or a draw. If we don't win, heads will roll.
-
Well the answer to the question is the carling cup game at home to newcastle where we lost 4-3 but in the league and in the big games he's been crap all season to be honest. He is NOT a winger for christ sake. He's laboured, bit like berbatov when he's shit. He has great feet but doesn't go anywhere or do anything constructive. Just runs into dead ends and brick walls.
-
No signings, no ambition, no trophies, Simple.
-
we need about 5 players
-
What is the fucking point sometimes, seriously just like the 4-4 a few years ago, We went 4-3 up in the last minute and then go and concede in the last seconds. It's truly abysmal. I feel so sorry for JT, he must be absolutely devastated, even more than we are because he was brilliant today Everton (H) conceded last minute, 1-1 Tottenham (A) Missed last minute penalty, 1-1 Villa (H) conceded last minute, 3-3 Might as well just throw the premiership trophy off a bridge.
-
Wanna see a performance now, a performance to say hang on a minute, we're chelsea, we're the champions and we're back in business. We thumped this team last season, i'm not saying we'll go n score 7 again but they are having a really bad season and are on free-fall at the moment and their defence is a shambles. Huge opportunity for us tomorrow to regain some confidence and stop looking scared. 3-0 at least.
-
I was there when he scored that bicycle kick against Leeds, brilliant game that was too. Feel sorry for him now tho, yids got him and didn't play him, Stoke (Fucking shit Stoke!) got him and aint playing him and his career is basically over now. Shoulda gone back to Bolton or something lol, he's a legend there like he is here. He's not just a striker either, his vision, touch and passing is absolutely brilliant, still is, and he could still be an asset now for someone in a midfield way. Genius of a player. And yes... that miss at Anfield in that UCL Semi certainly still haunts
-
Kalou is rated 83 on Fifa 11 now (well last week for some unknown reason), he must be good.
-
Come on, you know what i mean. These kinds of signings are why we are where we are. Turning down the likes of van der vaart for the likes of ramires. Of course ramires aint the reason we are where we are, he aint even played that much. BUT if we had van der vaart, i'm sure we'd be a lot better off.
-
King of the tap in?
-
Tough choice between Malouda and Ashley Cole for me, went for Malouda. Defo didn't go by world cup lol. All our players were crap there anyway.
-
Kalou is not Chelsea quality, that's just plain basic fact. He's an Everton, Villa, Sunderland like player, no higher.
-
Huge gamble, huge fail and one of the reasons we are where we are and playing like we are. Yids got him for £8m and he's worth double that. We've all been talking about van der Vaart for over 2 years, WE KNEW we needed him. Roman knows better.
-
"Lay off Kalou and Anelka" Why? And no. Well Anelka is always played out of position but he's not performing how he can there. Kalou is just not a world class player at all and not good enough for Chelsea. He's had enough time, Jose signed him and he's simply failed. Time to move on. Useless fucker.
-
He just needs some confidence now and his Chelsea career can properly start. He's been so nervous and seemed scared when he's played, hopefully he'll have a blinder soon against someone and the rest'll be history.

I'm addicted to it, as most ppl on here can probably account for. Love winding opposition fans up by ribbing their teams and ranting like fuck (even last night), gotta watch my language at times tho. Oh and dropping hints about certain young girls at my work who are fucking the manager for preferential treatment. I enjoy facebook, only ever go on it on my phone tho, just update my status on the go so it doesn't exactly interfere with my social life as i'm at work or on the bus anyway lol.
