  1. He has an amazing record but never played in Europe so .... it's always difficult to judge Pele. He probably is the best goalscorer but nobody can count as the best because there's many different positions. Best striker... maybe so. Football aint just about goals.
  2. He'd help us to become a ridiculously good attacking side. He wont be at Yids for long anyway, he's pure class. If we got him, wow
  3. Welcome to TC, just sing Carefree and Rio is a druggy, Rio is a druggy, na na na na
  4. Read the first post n thought wtf? oh right, this is 2 years ago lol. £40m... well in todays market he's probably worth it tbh because he plays his best football in big games against the best players and teams. I'd love him here.
  5. Might be a blessing in disguise if Ramires is fit because at the moment, Mikel, Lampard and Ramires is probably our best choice anyway right now. Hopefully he's not too badly injured though.
  6. And better without the white home socks but nice seeing Sheva score.
  7. Ibrahimovic for the last 8 years in a row. Danny Alves and Samir Nasri
  8. Just love the sound of it when it goes in lol. I've been trying to find a pic of that badge properly forever, think i've finally found it. Theres fuck all on the net of it in red.
  9. Cheers Steve. I loved that Mark Stein pen, i loved him when i was young and just getting into football and the way he buried that pen was fucking sweet. Shoulda lost really.
  10. Ahead of the match on Saturday, thought i'd post the most crazy Chelsea - Yid match from the bridge probably ever.
  11. Fernando Torres will prove to be better than Suarez and Carroll signings put together. Next season, we'll batter Liverpool.
  12. There will always be lots of talk about Jose coming back and these rumours will never go. I think he'll come back, i want him to come back but i don't think he'll be back yet. Roman knows he fucked up in 2007. Biggest mistake Roman ever made was letting him go. He's already said he's gonna come back. Fergie won leave Man Utd, Arsene wont leave Arsenal, Harry wont leave Tottenham so it only leaves Us and Man City because i think Mancini wont be at Eastlands for much longer. He'll be back, i'm dead certain of it.
  13. Van Der Vaart has been the signing of the season, not just because he's been pure class, but he was bought so cheaply too.
  14. Yeah because they are so rare. got the 94-95 home and away from there at £40 each but pristine condition. How they get them shirts, fuck only knows. Love them. Some are even upto £300, some player worn too.
  15. liverpool too http://www.classicfo.../liverpool.html to be honest tho, the ken bates crest (Like the one as my avatar) was pretty much the same. That was always used as just a crest.
  16. The crest for a badge was always the way before the 90's by a lot of teams, us n Arse did it. Wouldn't be bad to see again Chelsea - http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/premiership-clubs/chelsea.html Arsenal - http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/premiership-clubs/arsenal.html?p=1
  17. Drogba - Torres - Sturridge (In any order) would be fucking frightening. Regardless of the fact that they are all strikers, danny wont be the main striker so he'll have to be out wide but as a naturally left footed player who is a genuine footballer, he'll have no problems playing out there. If its going shit, he can move into the forwards position. It'll be like a new signing or 2 new signings as a winger and a striker. Anelka did well there last season, Sturridge is much better than Anelka (Today) and is a lefty. I can't wait to see him back.
  18. Bolton 1-0 Arsenal - Danny Sturridge I think he's sealed his place in our team next season. He is our fucking future and will be a Blue for the next 10 years. COME ON DANNY BOY!!
  19. Nice to see Rooney congratulating him on twitter, but they did make this ad together lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPEx5E-MJk4
  20. Excited about this, really difficult game, especially as Tottenham have to win and we have to win too, it's gonna be really tough. Another derby too against a fierce rival and although we won 3-0 yesterday, we could and should've conceded 2 or 3 and with the way Tottenham attack, out defence has to be a lot better than it was yesterday or we'll lose this game. The formation is gonna be tricky because Drogba has to play, Torres has to play, but 4-3-3/4-5-1 is what we have to play. Torres has always naturally drifted to the right side, i've seen so many of his goals where he's started way out wide and cut in to score. Remember his goal for Liverpool away at Blackpool? And he scored against Bolton simularly last season too. Saying that... Didier Drogba is the best crosser of a football in the team, whips it in some great areas and also naturally goes out wide a lot, as does Nico so with the strikers we do have, 4-3-3/4-4-2 is how we have to play regardless of who plays. I can see it being a draw though tbh.
  21. i'd say after about 10 games you get a decent idea but definitely christmas when its half way through you will get an idea on who will challenge for top 6 and who will be in the bottom 6 (well, kind of).
  22. Welcome to TC, enjoy your stay
  23. Yeah you can imagine him now going the rest of the season without another goal now, be typical. Hope he finishes the season with a few more tho.
  24. He didn't exactly look like a player lacking confidence yesterday when he came on. And with the finish, you'd think he'd scored 100 for us. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80elAsXL8Gg
