There's no substitute for experience and there's too many threads being aimed against an absolute legend of our club. I don't think he should play every game but i aint gonna slate him over it. He came on today and looked pretty good. Passed well, tackled well, calmed it all down. He still has a place in the team but as we all know, not every minute of every game. Knowing what Lamps has done for us, these threads are upsetting to keep seeing. I'm sure Man Utd fans wouldn't be like this to Scholes of Giggs or even Gary fucking Neville. Could u imagine if Frank actually came on this site and saw threads having a go at him.... It's awful

Mata was the best player on the pitch. Fucking everywhere the guy, already the first name on the team sheet now.

This Man Utd team aint that great, they've played against a load of pansy's so far this season who are shit scared of them. We have a very strong squad to pick from even with Drogba and Essien out and we sure as hell wont lay down like the other teams have against them. The title is bollocks, just making them look like something amazing which they absolutely are not. It makes me angry seeing this big uping of this fucking team like we're some shit mediocre lot. We will not lose on Sunday, trust me.

When you have 60+ games a season, there's no such thing as dropped. It's squad rotation and everyone needs to play a part. If Drogba is fit, he should start tomorrow so he can get some match sharpness and some much needed time on the pitch. I'm not underestimating Leverkusen but i really do think it will be a relatively easy game for some reason but it wont be pretty. Maybe a scrappy 1-0 or something. We have 4 whole days off too which is a day more than Man Utd as they play on Wednesday. They probably have the tougher game too as they're away. They will win but i think our preparation for Sunday will be better than theirs but wont make a whole lot of difference.

I dunno why everyone is so scared, we aint Fulham going to Old Trafford or QPR....

GUTTED! If Suarez had scored that open goal, £5,000 was mine. That hurts.

I'd love Drogba to start if i'm honest.

So harsh on the managers when it's the players who have performed like a team full of retards in the last 2 UCL eliminations. We were piss poor against Inter and the mancs. I do feel that with this freshened up team, we could challenge better this year. Mata is gonna be a star for us, the best signing for ages.
-
I reckon it's true and what an offer that is. This team is sicker than sick lol. I think we're gonna have a lot of fun with this team in years to come so i better learn how to say their name.

I like the German league. Teams all beat each other, the fans are exceptional and they give their own a chance and it really reaps rewards for the national side. They have the model example of how to run a league. Hope Dortmund beat Arsenal. Does Ballack take penalties for Leverkusen? Last 2 times we've had a German team at the bridge, Ballack has scored a pen. He scored against us for Bayern in 05 and for us against Werder in 2006. Maybe he'll go for the Hattrick

I don't think newcastle are worse but they are another team really struggling up front. I do agree tho, they will start to lose games soon and could find themselves down there.

That's as blatant as blatant gets and nobody is saying fuck all about it? Fuck sake you don't naturally tread down like that. But nothing will happen because nobody even knows it happened.

I worry for Sunderland, seriously. I said near the end of last season that Sunderland will go down next season (this season) and i've not seen anything to change my mind after the good point at Anfield. Very lightweight up front and keep on taking on Man Utd rejects. I hope they go down because of the Utds connection although i have nothing against the actual Sunderland AFC name. How did Gyan just disappear? i don't get that. Hope for Sunderland = QPR, Norwich, Wigan and Swansea are probably worse. Swansea are good but cannot score goals, their forward line is not good or strong enough for this level.

Looking forward to this, especially seeing Ballack back. Should be a comfortable game tbh but nothing spectacular. 2-0 stroll. Need to win and save energy for the HUGE game on Sunday.

Torres was rested for Sunday and i think by the looks of it he'll go with Mata and Malouda at old trafford mainly because of experience. We have good options and i am 100% sure we'll get at least a point there. We have the players in my honest opinion, i don't see many weak links in our team really and i think Man Utd's defence is struggling, just lucky they've played some poor teams lately. Mata, Sturridge, Malouda, Torres and Drogba can cause real trouble to their defence. Rio aint the same and Smalling & Jones are still young and aint been put under too much pressure yet. That Arsenal 8th team still scored 2 and missed a pen. I'd like to see Sturridge vs Smalling. I think Man Utd's back 4 will be Evra - Ferdinand - Jones - Smalling. GET AT IT!

Didn't modric only get 2 assists and one goal last season? Meireles already has one assist for us and judging by the higfhlights, he looked so comfortable like he'd been a blue for 3 years. We have bought a quality player who can pass and shoot and has lots of energy. It wasn't a panic buy, AVB eyed him for a bit before deadline day, my dad told me like a week before that we're lined up to get him and the deal was actually done earlier than has been reported.

Oh rite that's shit then, i relied on myp2p for most of my games. Real pity they got taken down, hopefully they'll go somewhere else n start over a bit more discreetly. Atdhe.net got seized n went to Atdhenet.tv and that's still good although this v-share really pisses me off when it keeps saying i aint installed it when i have then sometimes decides to work! Might just start paying for it. That £3 a month thing i read somewhere sounds good
-
Mata - Drogba - Sturridge

Just to let u know Myp2p.eu seems to be back up at www.myp2p.bz atm.

Bit of a cunt leaving him out against Leichtenstein, if ever there was a national game to get some confidence ffs. If he played the whole game for example, he woulda scored at least one! Quite annoying. Maybe he'll score 5 in the next 2 for us and ruin Scotland
-
Wow that's a quite stunning place. Imagine just saying "Meh, i'll buy that one". Ex Russian spy house, suppose he was destined to buy it. Still keep hearing "If Roman leaves chelsea...." etc etc, even when i got to Wembley on Tuesday i heard a group of ppl where one was saying "If Roman leaves Chelsea they'll be fucked" etc etc and now i just laugh because unlike Man City's owner who has been to just 1 match, Roman is almost always here and he's buying properties here so the question about Roman leaving is gonna be unanswered for a long fucking time. Plus he put 500m in Chelsea in case he does leave and no one even knows that outside of us. Even if he does leave, we may get another owner, we are a huge club now so we'll always have investors. If we do a leeds, well.... we've enjoyed the ride Used to always watch and the puntits/commentators made a big deal over Roman not being at the bridge for this game or that game or wow he's not been seen for 3 weeks! But nobody has said shit about Man City's owner who genuinely doesn't really give 2 shits about them. They've been to one home game since they took over.

Torres started against Liverpool on his debut and i fully expect Meireles to start on Saturday. Can't wait for this game but i'm looking forward to seeing Sturridge more than anyone else.

The hardest thing about answering these threads is about who will play in the positions. If we go 4-3-3/4-5-1 then i wanna see Sturridge on the left wing and Mata on the right with Torres up front. If we go 4-4-2 i wanna see Sturridge on the left of midfield and Mata on the right with Torres and Drogba up front. What would i play? 4-3-3: Cech Luiz - Ivanovic - Terry - Cole Meireles Ramires - Lampard Mata - Torres - Sturridge I've never seen Luiz at right back but i think he could do a job there, i'm not a big fan of Bosingwa even tho he's started the season well and i think Ivanovic's best position is in the center. Alex and Terry are too slow to be together in the middle imo. I would like to see Luiz in midfield but with the numbers we now have in there, that's most likely a no go. Luiz has pace, why not try him on the right? 4-4-2: Cech Ivanovic - Luiz - Terry - Cole Mata - Meireles/Lampard - Ramires - Sturridge Torres- Drogba Swapped Luiz & Ivanovic for arguments sake, Lampard may get the nod for 1 more year but undecided about him or Raul.

Went to the game today, was confident of a really good devastating performance against what is a pretty poor welsh team in reality. English football has been on the up since the world cup, young players have come in and we've looked to have a lot more energy and pace and creativity but today was back to the old slow, shit, lack of tempo bollocks we saw a year ago. Rooney did nothing, Milner... what was he even doing there? Barry.... i mean what the fuck. Lampard was there simply to be stable, settle things down and pass the ball so why have Milner and Barry there? i don't get Capello. If you're gonna have 2 up front or one off the striker, chose 2 strikers. You need two quick wingers out wide like Walcott and Young, Downing, SWP etc not Milner ffs. He looked so lost, he didn't even know what to do half the time. I was sat there not really knowing who was playing where. Rooney kept drifting, he played more like a holding midfielder and once he was at left back. Downing, Milner, Young, Who was where? Meh what a load of shit that was. It's about time he worked out his best team and stuck by it. You need Rooney behind a Defoe/Bent and you need 2 out of Young/Downing/Lennon/Walcott/SWP out wide. Players have to play in their favoured positions. He really needs to learn his best team and hurry up. Positives = We're through pretty much.
