Gonna be a tough game today but Bulgaria really suck atm so its not like going there 10-20years ago. I'm going to the Wales match on Tuesday so that should be fun. I really like Chris Smalling btw, i think he'll be nailed on for the RB spot and when Terry and Rio are finished, he'll be the number 1 CB and maybe even a future captain. I wasn't sure about him at first and was like WTF when Ferguson signed him but he obviously saw something. Such an impressive defender. I'm not sure if Rio is fit for today but Smalling will play and i don't think he'll ever look back. Shame he plays for utd but he has a hell of a future.

Coyle is a great manager and i believe Gael will finally be ready for us in 12/13 and suddenly our forward options will be fantastic.Young, skillful and dynamic.We aint too far away from having a great squad and it's young. Its actually a perfect game because we can use lukaku and josh,sturridge,kalou etc and if we win against an established prem team, it will be more noticed than scoring 6 against a team from league 2. Our carling cup games are gonna actually excite me this year because of our youngsters aint just youngsters anymore, they really are on the brink of first team, they are excellent players. Bertrand, McEachran, Lukaku, Sturridge, Romeu, Mata ... Might go to this thinking about this team...

Its all about the middle, we have the front 3, we have the back 4 or a back 4, it's just the middle and i think Mikel has to play the holding role so its litterally 2 out of Meireles, Lampard and Ramires. I can see Lampard and Meireles alternating somewhat. McEachran coould very well be in these plans too. Meireles / Lampard McEachran / Ramires Romeu / Mikel We have 2 players for each role there.

Bottom line is that we have strengthened since last season and judging Meireles yet is impossible because AVB knows him better than most and he knows why he's brought him in. He knows the pace of the premiership and may offer us something. Judge the signing at xmas, not now.

He had a great spell last season which coincided with him scoring against us. He can get goals and he's very fit. He's not a worldy but a signing none the less and AVB knows exactly what he's getting.

Wigan lost 8-0 to us, 9-1 to tottenham, 5-0 to man utd twice, 4-0 to Arsenal and 4-0 to Portsmouth and they stayed up. Arsenal will be top 6 eventually but they are having an absolute mare atm.
