Well yeah to some extent but we need to pretty much change 5 or 6 players. Maybe 1 or 2 can be done in jan but this summer is gonna be one busy one
-
The £150m will be in the summer, may get 50-60m in jan but defo wont do mega business in Jan, it just doesn't happen.
-
Like he would leave them for us. He would only go abroad like any player would do if they loved the club. Van Persie loves Arsenal.
-
Arsenal 1-1 Wolves Man Utd 2-3 Blackburn Arsenal 1-1 Fulham Blackburn 4-3 Arsenal Tottenham 1-5 Manchester City Man Utd 1-6 Manchester City Fulham 1-0 Liverpool Fulham 2-2 Manchester City Liverpool 1-1 Norwich Liverpool 1-1 Sunderland Fulham 2-1 Arsenal Ok, so all the top teams have just whipped everyone and not been embarassed. And yeah, Henrique.... Ancelotti, the manager that won us the double and then lead us to 2nd, i think he did a pretty good job. I know u and HD aren't even really Chelsea fans so i'll never have a chance against u, you're just 2 random neutral idiots who probably just spam forums all day with pointless shit but that's cool, someone needs to do it i suppose but i'm far from an idiot.
-
ok smart arse my mistake, the only thing u can reply is my grammar? Nice one.
-
He also tackled well too. Ok the shot's were not what a striker should be about but the other stats are great for a midfielder lol. Even Xavi would be impressed.
-
Nobody has a god given right to win a football match. Relegation candidates can still beat top teams, look at Man Utd at home to Blackburn with the amazing fergie as their manager, they were abysmal. Why should you shut up? Simple. 1) because you're an idiot and 2) because this is not AVB's chelsea team yet and 3) Your comment's aren't worthy of supporting the team i love. Fool. Let's just sack the manager after a few months. Great step forward.
-
Ok.... fuck this. First of all, i think giving AVB the job of rebuilding Chelsea was wrong. I was happy at first for the refreshment but as we really are under transition, i feel that to give that job to a rookie manager who has no experience and who has never had this type of job before is crazy, especially for a team Chelsea's stature. He took over Porto and he won, won, won... life was easy. Now he has it completely different and you wonder how he can get out of this situation without ever being in this position before and having so little experience. BUT... We have to give him a chance. We can't judge him 100% yet because this isn't his team, his rebuilding job isn't finished yet so instead of flame him every opportunity you get, why don't u just leave him alone until he has put his full mark on the team. In 2 years time or more, we can all judge him more accurately. We need stability, we need a manager to be here for 3,4,5 years like Wenger & Ferguson. They stayed long enough to put their mark on the team. No manager has yet been here long enough to do it for us. I want to see AVB's Chelsea team, not a mixture of 8 managers teams combined with an unsettled set up. Even if he proves to be the wrong man for the job, he needs to be given time to be judged properly by the board and by us. I don't like what he did with Tommy Langley sacking him from Chelsea TV for a comment he made. I don't like the way he treated Alex and Anelka when they handed in transfer requests and not letting them come to the xmas party even tho they gave great service to the club in the last few years and i don't like the way he has treated some of the players, he's a bit of a prick, yes..... But if it proves to be right and we become the best team in 3 years and win everything, that's the main thing, isn't it? Let the fucking guy put his mark on the team and shut up.
-
Well if u don't believe we dominated the match then fair enough but i watched the match, the whole match and there's only 1 team that looked like winning it and it wasn't Wolves. The game got messy after 25 minutes up until half time but except our lack of creativity in the final 3rd, we played very well.
-
We dominated the game and won the game so please give it a rest. just lacked the cutting edge to kill the game earlier which may be solved this month. How you can be negative today is totally beyond me.
-
This is the most impossible of impossible transfers. I did dream about him coming to us once and him scoring a Hat-Trick against Arsenal in a 5-2 win (actually a true story) but come on, this is completely and utterly impossible. We have more chance of Bringing Mourinho back and signing Messi n Ronaldo.
-
I personally think Dzeko is shit. He's a fairly decent finisher but a very average striker imo. If he leaves City, he should go to a team like Fulham.
-
Always love Franks interviews. Thank fuck for Super Frankie Lampard.
-
Was very good today and even against Villa he was our best performer imo. He's very quick and pretty strong which are the attributes a modern footballer, especially a defender. Not sure what'll happen when or if Cahill comes.
-
He's a worker but a very good one. Not sure if him and Romeu should really play together, it's like having Mikel and Essien together which never worked when we were good. I wish he'd stop shooting from ridiculous positions though, especially in the Villa game, dunno what he was doing. I know he can shoot but that's taking the piss. Even today on one occasion.
-
He needs to stay in the position of a ST, he keeps drifting away from his natural role. If he stays in the box, he'll be on the end of crosses and ricochets etc. He should know this tho. Maybe Luiz needs to give him another blessing. It's like he's forgotten how to be a CF.
-
Looked very good as the creative midfielder but not great as a striker lol. Something a bit weird about that. His link play and passing was very good.
-
Quite funny, takes Mata off for Josh and then like a minute later Wolves score.... how must he of felt. And then Lampard wins it very late, the highs and lows and the emotion of football. Love it.
-
Fuck sake they really put us through it dont they! We played so well up to the final 3rd but the cutting edge was not there. Torres' link up play was brilliant, his passing was exceptional but when the final ball needs to be played, he's either too far back or out wide so it breaks down. We really need the creative player now, hopefully one comes in. Great win and fully deserved too but ffs we make it so hard for ourselves. P.S There's only one Frank Lampard. And what a wonderful goal it was too. Torres, Cole, Lampard, Good fucking night son! YES!
-
lol yeah my hopes of seeing something fresh are out the window, oh well lets put in another shit stagnated performance and try n nick a point.
-
Looks like a Diamond and if he's playing 2 up front, why not Drogba and Torres with Mata just behind. Strange.
-
Also we were on a bad run going into the Wolves away game too and we went n lost there. Something needs to change for sure with the tempo being it. If we are tight defensively and up the tempo, we'll win the game. I think Torres needs to start the game as the main and only striker.
-
Thinking if we need a creative midfield genius or if we should get a genuine winger and put Mata in the middle. Mata seems too weak to be out wide, he's very Modric like. Dunno any decent strong, quick wingers tho who wouldn't be extortionately priced
-
We may be having a shocking season but the news about Hutch will be the highlight of it. Such a great story and then to get straight into the squad is great stuff. Can't wait to see him play.
-
Torres did get a brace at Molineux last year (i'm trying).
