If he's best as a winger in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 then that's great for us because we need a winger more than anything else by a distance. Mata should be more central and we have NO wingers in a formation that supposedly uses wingers. We need 2 wingers anyway, not just 1.

To be honest, i'll only have 1 real what you could say an 'addiction' and that's Chelsea FC because whether i want to admit it or not, Chelsea runs my life and determines what i do, where i go and when and how i do things. It determines what i buy, what holidays i book off work, when to sneak out of work early, what to wear, why to get drunk, why to cry, when to shout, when to argue, when to come here on TC and find out the team and write about them and when to feel like the happiest or the most pissed off person in the world. It determines my mood and it determines whether i stay out or stay in. An addiction is something that you can't get out of, that's in there and will stay in there forever, Chelsea is in my heart and my blood and it will drive me insane forever and a day but that's the way i like it and i wouldn't change that for the world. You get those night's where like any other night, you can only sit there and watch. It makes me feel like saying 'Why should i care, i'm not playing for them or earning their money, it's not gonna make any real difference to my life' but i feel something there, almost like i am playing, the way my blood boils and my heart races and my sweat runs off my head and down my cheek. It makes me feel that i really am one of them, i am feeling the way they feel, i'm sweating as much as them, i'm as happy as them and i'm celebrating like them. I cry when we lose a big game, just like them, i cry emotionally when we win a huge game just like them like against Barca when Torres finished them off in style, not the referee blowing the whistle but a goal to make em feel even worse before the referee blows the whistle, like a dagger through the heart of the most dangerous enemy around. That makes me feel amazing even tho technically it's done absolutely nothing for my life. The players always say that they are nothing without us and when i see the fight they showed in the Nou Camp with 10 men and the fight at Loftus Road with 9 men, it does make me realise that these millionaires are doing whatever they can not just for them, but for us as well and if they are doing it for us, that means that we are making a difference and that we are there and when we get behind them, not fucking boo them but actually stick with them, they perform for us and they make us happy. The most hardcore smoker, drug addict, gambler, drinker, sex addict etc etc can give up with necessary equipment and will and desire and help but the hardcore football fans can never give up on their team because when you think it's all gone shit and your love seems to be fading (us vs Arsenal and Liverpool at home), they come back and defy all the odds (FA Cup and UCL finalists) against everyones believe and expectations. You could never give up that feeling we all had 4 days ago in the Nou Camp because that feeling is still with us now, it isn't a pack of 20 at £7.49 which'll last a day or 10 pints at £3.15 each that will last the night and make you feel shit in the morning and regretful, or a nice win at the bookies before you spunk it all by this time next week. This feeling you get like the one against Bolton in '05 or Liverpool in '08 or Tottenham in the cup a couple of weeks ago or Barca a couple of days ago.... That feeling is priceless and lasts forever. Just like Chelsea, once it's in, it stays in til the day we all die and there's absolutely fuck all we or anyone else can do about it. It can also control our obsessions. I'm obsessed with seeing Chelsea be the best, ruling England, then ruling Europe, then ruling the world. I've always wanted Chelsea to win the UCL and now after what happened between 2004/2009, i am obsessed with us winning the Uefa Champions League. It's not a thing about saying 'wow, we're in the semi finals, great achievement'... NO not now! It's now quite simply 'ok we're in the UCL Semi, 2 more to go, we have to win it!'

Welcome to TC, i hear so many good things about 83/84, maybe because it was the year after our lowest of the low that coulda killed us forever to then kill that league instead. I wasn't born then lol but anyway i hope you enjoy it here, it's undoubtedly the best Chelsea forum around and gets into the daily routine alongside 'brush teeth'.

Was on the bus checking the football scores, then i went onto facebook and saw this news n thought 'WTF?" seriously there was no rumour, no leaked interest, nothing then bam we've signed Marin. I love transfers coming out of the blue. He's had a tough time lately but maybe our style suits him. He has a reputation but not really a superstar which is what i like. It's down to him to become a superstar here. Great business. Piss off Kalou (had to get that in, apologies).

I think it's more epic to be the away team. Chelsea 5-1 Tottenham doesn't look half as nice as Tottenham 1-5 Chelsea. Wow just a week to go basically, and if we win it's back to the Community Shield which is easier to get tickets to ah i love Wembley.

Welcome to TC and congratulations on making it to the UCL Final. No Messi, no Ronaldo, no spanish teams who pay the referees and Uefa but more importantly.... no Pepe! Sorry but i hate Pepe, i'd love to shoot him between the eyes, the thought of him winning the ucl is quite sick. I hope the match is a good, clean one with no controversies and i hope we finally win the UCL because it's been a horrible decade for us especially as we've never won it. I believe in sharing so as you have 4, it's only nice and fair of you to invite us into your home and give us one Anyway, good luck in the Final and good luck against Dortmund in the German Cup.

I will hold off buying the new shirt because there is a possibility of us wearing it in the UCL Final if we win the UCL i'll want a Munich Final 2012 version with the UCL Patches. If we lose i'll just get the normal one. I'm almost 100% sure we'll wear the new kit in Munich now as this seasons home shirt will still be used for the FA Cup final.

Champions League Final 2012 - Chelsea 1 (4)-(3) 1 Bayern Munich

Bayern are in the German Cup Final too on May 12th against Dortmund so i'm glad they do have an important game to go a week before the UCL. As our final is May 5th, you never know, we might actually end up being more fresher than them as we have Blackburn at home, another chance to rest a few. They'll want to win the German Cup i'm sure they wont be resting players for that, especially against a team like Dortmund. -
Ramires needs to be rested until the cup final. He should also rest Lampard til the final too. Where's Hutchinson? He should play seriously he was immense against them in the Carling Cup 2 years ago, was motm. Should take chances because it will still be strong enough to challenge and beat QPR. Football's a squad game

Again, if we win the UCL, i'll get that white shirt as a semi memento. Might get it anyway, the price'll go down soon. I just thought it was very Tottenham like with the white, navy and yellow together. It was the kit that started Robbie's reign too so it is a special kit, i will get the shirt for definite.

Domestic finals are domestic finals and his record is absolutely unbelievable. Even scored 2 in the community shield against Arsenal in 2005 at the Millenium Stadium. His stats are mad. 2005 = League Cup and Premiership 2007 = League Cup and FA Cup 2010 = FA Cup and Premiership 2012 =

Perfect weather for me is about 20 degrees with the sun shining but not blazing hot. When i was in the Philippines that was unbearable heat but i hate being really cold too. At the moment here it's still raining. ffs! I love sunny days.

Champions League Final 2012 - Chelsea 1 (4)-(3) 1 Bayern Munich

Well Robben missed that pen i think so hopefully justice will be done if they both do it against us. Robben did it enough for us tbh lol so we know about him. I hope the officials are strong and wise to their wing men. I love Robben tho (for now). Also they are both ridiculously predictable. If we had our best back 4, i wouldn't be as worried but with Bosingwa out there, he's as retarded a RB as you can get so he'll let Ribery keep going outside him. Whereas on the other side, Robben always, always, always tries to cut in and smash one with his left. I love that phrase 'Robbery' lol that's quality. They are favourite due to home advantage and freshness we're all aware of that that's the only reason. They are very predictable. I personally think they are rather average, they only got through Madrid because they were fresher. They weren't great in their league (much weaker league than ours) and Madrid still cut through them at times in both games. Hard game of course but nowhere near as hard as Barca or Real Madrid. Let's hope they get cocky and think it'll be easy because we'll 'park the bus', we'll be focused on this game more than ever so they better be ready. -

Ribery's a fucking squealing little cheat, he goes down all the time. He's a very good player but i don't like that side of him. And yeah, we all know Bayern are favourites. Like Napoli were after the first leg and like Barca were in both. The pressure is on Bayern in their own home. -
Nothing lasts forever, this is a great chance to end that, they're fucking hopeless this season. Hopefully we can batter them.

Hopefully they all think we'll park the bus and completely misjudge the game. He's probably saying that because he knows they wont break through if we do so it's reverse psychology. Anyway ... Logo for the final Although i prefer the font and basicness of this one -
Love to see them go in for a 50/50

Quite strange that we decided to go gold and then got to the UCL final, like someone knew something. I must admit it would be awesome to wear the gold on club football's biggest stage. The shirt certainly deserves it. It is making more sense the more i think of it.
-
It's all about superstition. Changing the kit would give excuses if it went wrong. As bloody says, we've had a lot of luck in this UCL kit, it's the only home one we've ever had luck in so superstitious ppl would like to just carry on as we are. I'm not superstitious but some are. Also they just knocked Real Madrid out who have Gold adidas stripes. There, another one lol. Anyway.... i don't really care what we use.
-
I'd love us to use it in a UCL final but i just don't like the thought of losing in it. That's all.
-
Ivanovic's goal against Napoli gave us the momentum to dare to dream plus we've got through every round at least using the home kit once obviously. That Gold one was used because it was it's rightful season. Well anyway i don't mind but if we lose in the new kit, it'll just be like 2008 all over again.
-
Athletic deserve the trophy so that probably means Atletico will win it.
-
Ex Chelsea player too, Tiago.... Think Roy Carroll remembers him. Adrian Lopez's goal was fantastic by the way. Valencia 0-1 Atletico Madrid Will be an all Spanish final, scary thinking it coulda been an all Spanish UCL & EL Final Atletico vs Athletic lol.

European qualification: The permutations
Ollie replied to i.am.blue's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I would Orgasm like Gary Neville if us winning the UCL pushed Arsenal into the Europa League. It would be the greatest moment ever in football history. -
I'm only thinking of the UCL final now so i'm just simply feeling nervous and will be for some time. I'm also feeling very un-easy about what i heard about one of my best mates too, can't say anything tho on that matter. The next 3 weeks is simply all about Chelsea FC.
