  1. Ok so Man City might make a claim for dominance but Man Utd's dominance might be coming to an end. Probanly the first time i've ever looked at a match and known Man Utd's team isn't good enough to win. Let City have their time, we've had ours. I'd rather Chelsea and City dominate than United, Liverpool, Tottenham or Arsenal.
  2. New AC Milan home shirt with added random green bit on the shoulder...
  3. Was happy Man City won, i was going for them big time. So it might be bad for us, tbh i don't like Man Utd and i don't care atm. We're in the Champions League Final.
  4. Whether it's 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 Torres' actual football ability is fantastic. They can play together imo, even if Torres was out wide. I'd use it on Weds but just not in the UCL, too much of a risk perhaps. Keep the winning formula for now.
  5. Perfect player for us. Will have to spend a bit tho as Everton paid £15m. They'll obviously want profit.
  6. I know this has been a weirder than weird season but i will say this now. Manchester City will 100% win this game.
  7. Ballack lost the German Cup final too in 2002 and came 2nd in the league and a runner up in the UCL, poor, poor guy. Hopefully it happens to Bayern this season.
  8. It's impossible to leave Torres out after his last 2 games but it's impossible to leave the Wembley master out and both are in their best form of the season. Headache for Robbie!
  9. I just love that lol sounds nice, i'll look out for these now, i finally have a fav F1 team Well, in all seriousness i don't watch F1 nor care about motorsports at all really but there is a lot of money involved that is for sure and this must benefit us. It's a nice touch
  10. He has the same senses as Lampard and i really do believe he could play where Lampard plays and do the same job. All he's gotta do is do what he does now but start of a bit deeper. His price will treble/quadruple in a year or 2 so someone has to pick him up now while Swansea are still stuttering on the value. He is a true goalscoring midfielder, we need a true goalscoring midfielder and already premiership proven imo. These talents are toooo rare. And shit i actually completely forgot about De Bruyne. Looks like it's Malouda & Kalou out, De Bruyne and Marin in. Loving it already.
  11. Ah yeah Ok edited my line up lol, it gets good now
  12. He's managed national teams before, managed Switzerland in USA 94 and apparently did very well with Finland too and someone else, he's managed all over the world, he does show a lot of passion on the sidelines and managed the likes of Inter & Liverpool so you never know. He has a lot of experience and maybe, just maybe this will prove to be a very shrewd move. He seems more like an international manager than a club manager. Yid fans must be over the moon btw. I'm not saying it's the best choice but at least he has seen it and done it in international football. Arry asn't. There's no substitute for experience in football.
  13. Both strikers are fresh, i think it would be great now that both are actually in form for the first time. I'd play both. Cech Bosingwa - Ivanovic - Terry - Cole Mata - Ramires - Mikel - Sturridge Torres - Drogba Why not?
  14. I'd rather come 6th, Runners up in the FA Cup but win the UCL. I don't honestly care what happens if we win the UCL. If we win both cups, Tottenham come 3rd, Arsenal 4th and us dumping Arsenal into the Europa, it would be my best season as a Chelsea fan ever. Anyway the answer to the actual question... No, it wouldn't satisfy me considering the position we are now. We need to make history now.
  15. Torres' performance yesterday was massive because he will start on Weds and that means that Drogba truly can rest and recover fully for Saturday. What happens to Torres on Saturday tho? He surely deserves a cup final if he indeed wont start in the UCL. I can kinda feel that Torres and Drogs may soon be starting together. I'd start Meireles, Mikel and Essien on weds i think, Lampard needs to be rested for Saturday. I think we'll win.
  16. I can't agree that Bayern and Chelsea are on par with the Spanish duo. We got through which was great but Barca and Real are a level above. We just managed to get the job done over the 2 legs somehow. Nodody has a given right to win any match tho, some finals are shocking. Liverpool in 2005 won the UCL whilst coming 5th in the league, Porto vs Monaco was a shocking Final, Liverpool - Milan again in 07. The 2 finalists are not necessarily the best 2 but in a tournament, any team can beat any team. But anyway, the fact is that Bayern and Chelsea are 2 very well organised teams that are very good at what they do. It should be a very good final and if we win it would be amazing. I just wanna see a good clean contest with no controversy. 3 weeks to go, it's gonna feel like 3 months, i can't wait for it. Bayern are lucky, they can reax and go to the beach if they want until the German Cup final. We're battling away. Real Madrid were so tired by the hour mark on Weds, i just hope the difference in freshness isn't the same in 3 weeks time. We'll see.
  17. Well, be immense when they go down then lmao talk about bitter idiots. How will they feel when they go down and win the UCL and the FA Cup, having beat them along the way.
  18. He's 23 and has a lot of time to get his career back on track. He may have lacked something in the last couple of years but so have Bremen in all honesty. This move is great business all round, hopefully he will improve like Ozil at a top club. Good age.
  19. Epic game tomorrow, can't wait for the Manchester derby, if City win, it's all level but City will have the greater GD so will be in the box seat. Blackburn vs Wigan is next week. It's big but i think Wigan will beat Blackburn and i think Wigan are safe unfortunately. Blackburn will go down anyway i feel as we host them last and if both us and them play like they did today, it'll be a hammering. Arsenal i think are secure of 3rd because they have the points and know that if they win their last 2 games they can't be caught. We're only 1 point behind Newcastle and Tottenham now and a win on Wednesday will put us above newcastle and then any Tottenham slip will almost hand us the top 4 finish just in case we lose in Munich. There's still a lot left to play for and time really is running out. It's do or die pretty much about now.
  20. Likely yeah and tbh it woulda been even more of a 'revenge' if it had been Hiddink in charge of us in the Camp Nou on Tuesday but i am so pleased that Robbie has done so well. The fact that Robbie has an identical record to Guus after 16 games and didn't win the UCL speaks volumes as Roman wanted to keep Guus. I'm confident that Robbie will get his chance, i genuinely am.
  21. People who understand others no matter what they are like and who are grateful for who they are and what they have.I also admire everyone that's in a bad situation but always see's the bright side of life like this guy. I have so much admiration for that guy. The world is a cruel place and we all need to be thankful for what we have even if it's far from perfect, millions are in a worse position and would give the world to have what we have.
  22. We want you to stay, we want you to staaaaaay, Robbie Di Matteo we want you to stay!
  23. Modric has lovely quick feet and can turn defence into attack with the drop of a shoulder but really.... Does he do enough? In Tottenham's recent bad run, has he come out and taken the bull by the horns and put in the extra 10%? No, i don't think so. If we're gonna replace Lampard, we need someone who has similar qualities and tbh i'm now thinking that Ramires and Mata are better than Modric and they will be 2 of our middle 3. We don't need all of em.
