Well yeah if they offer £45m he has to go lol but Anzi will be in the UCL sooner rather than later, he could fuck us up in a final or something.

I don't really understand limiting the likes because i've already finished my quota just by liking lots off wallpapers. I can't now like any decent posts. I think we should be doing all we can to promote members and posts so there shouldn't be a limit for likes.

I like that team for the circumstances. I think Malouda could play tho ahead of Kalou. Sturridge needs to play to regain some form.
-
Just keep him so he can't score against us

This is so similar to 08/09 i actually think we'll win

It is a bit of a joke now, 3 kits a season. The white 3rd kit is the first kit i've not had since the 94/95 season. I might just get the home shirts from now on and maybe just a smart T-Shirt to go with my Jackets because it's getting a bit silly now.

Proposal - change to the Transfer Talk rules?
Ollie replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Announcements & Support
That's tho only reason the first option has votes lol. I still think that ANY Story with a link should be talked about but it's not gonna win. It is becoming a bit too professional and strict that's the reason i left CFCnet all those years ago after i made like 2 posts and lasted like a day.... Even links from 'reliable' sources are crap tho when it's about us. -
Can't dispute that. Torres has done ok in the UCL tho, how has Suarez done in Europe this season. Ooops!
-
He missed out the word 'less'

Why cant we just stick to traditional colours like Milan, Man Utd, Man City, Real Madrid, Bayern etc. Man Utd always have either a white, blue or black away kit. Man City always have a traditional red and black one, Milan always have a white one and a black one, Real Madrid always have a black one, Bayern always have a white one and a black one.... we should always have a white one as our 2nd kit and switch every now and again to a yellow or a red 3rd kit to keep the tradition in all our kits. I personally do like the black kits we've had and that kit above that we never won in but i like traditions. In order, our main colours are: Blue White Yellow Red Forget the greens, oranges, navys, blacks etc. Just my opinion tho, it'll never happen.
-
So why not just play ... Mata - Drogba - Torres No? Well Dzeko's stats are very good then even tho i genuinely think he's a very average player. He's often in the right place tho and he's a pretty good finisher. He'll leave City i think in the summer.
-
Oh well if it's wrong then it's stupid but if it's right, Torres wins in an overall sense, Balotelli wins as the striker. Football is a team game tho and i bet Torres has more assists and contribution that lots of wingers.

Proposal - change to the Transfer Talk rules?

Absolutely proposal 2, i actually have thought about this option before. It needs to be done. Anything that has a link and a story, regardless how stupid it might be is still worth talking about like the Mourinho and Ronaldo to join Chelsea together story lmao, if it has a link from ANY source, just keep it. Keeps the forum busy at least. And yeah transfer wish lists that aren't actual rumours should be in a different place for sure. -
Unfortunately this wont be our kit even tho i love it. I would say more but i've already said so many times what i think of it, i'd sound like a broken record. Probably doesn't need the circles round the badge or the diagonal lines however. Doesn't matter anyway, we're gonna be blue and tacky gold. Should only be gold if we win the UCL.

Never let us down the bloke, never! Master stroke putting him in the team today, complete genius.
-
Oh yeah, never mentioned their constant theatrics. I would say typical Portuguese cheats but did they even have 1 Portuguese player? We had more than them lmao! Their diving and appealing and rolling around was absolutely shocking. The ref bought it a couple of times but had a decent game considering the noisy crowd.
-
Drogba will 100000% play. The only question is with Torres or alone? He should play Mata and Torres on the wings imo but then again Grant played Anelka on the wing in the CC final 2008 against them with Drogba up front and we were awful. Maybe just play a tried and trusted formula and change if needed.
-
It would be too sweet to be true. Some things really are too good to become a reality and that is one of them. But to see him lift the FA Cup in front of their fans .... we could be onto something there.
-
Come on, Kalou scored but wasn't involved in anything, i didn't even see him. He's supposed to be an attacking winger or something. Just because he scored i'm not gonna say he was good. I didn't see him attack their right back or anything a winger should do. But hey... he scored so he's a hero. I was a bit disappointed with Ramires in the 2nd half tho, he skinned their LB so many times, he got booked but then he didn't force him into any bad challenges that coulda seen him get sent off. He was absolutely electric in that first half tho, just lacks the quality ball sometimes (all the time). Anyway i don't want any Kalou debates, he used his strikers instincts today and was the match winner so well done to him. He is a striker after all anyway isn't he really? We got a great win and we should be ready now to have a great season finale!
-
He bumped his head and turned into a winger.
-
Very tough game, not because Villa are good because they aint but because we're always so fucking shit there. The positive thing is that we'll have a bit more freshness to the team because of the great win from the fringe players today. We might nick it, i mean we should win tbh especially what they did to us at the Bridge, we owe them bastards. i'd probably guess at a draw, tho.
-
Those 2 Semi's are great for Football. I'd rather get Everton in the final but i'd rather beat Liverpool in the final. Could be anyone in the final this year tho, i think Everton will beat Liverpool and i must admit i'd be pleased for David Moyes if Everton won the FA Cup despite being a Chelsea fan. We've had a great run in the FA Cup since 2007, well even 2006 we got to the Semi's. I'd absolutely love us to win it but if Everton win it, good luck to em.

I'm really shocked at Benfica. I knew we were favourites to go through but if we were really firing, we woulda won 3-0 and completely stone dead killed the tie already. Benfica at home in a UCL quarter final, absolutely awful blunt performance. Napoli woulda smashed this lot. I don't usually act over confident but this tie is as good as done, now i can see why Drogba reacted like he did if he indeed did do that on purpose. That was almost like watching Man Utd against Schalke last year, embarrassingly easy for such a big high pressured away leg. Robbie got the team right because Benfica were so poor, simple as that. I will give us credit tho because we were very good in spells but i don't think many teams at home would let us have such a comfortable ride. The goal was nice, Nando did brilliantly to give Kalou the chance, he was in the right place. He was by far our worst player in the whole game Kalou but he was there when it mattered. Luiz was just immense, the guy has been pure class in the last 2 months and he's who i'd give my MOTM. Also a special mention to Ferreira, not played for a while but was never troubled and looked Solid. Master stroke from Robbie putting the EX Porto lads in to stir it up a bit lol. And then Ferriera off, Bosingwa on, Porto for Porto. Apparently Meireles got involved with the fans too at H/T. Nothing like football rivalries. JT probably shoulda give away a pen with the hand ball but the Luiz's one was no chance. John's hand was out so it coulda easily been given but we thoroughly deserved the win regardless of anything else that happened in the game. Perfect scenario = Win the game whilst playing fringe players and giving all the main men a rest. What a perfect, PERFECT night. Barca round 20 (feels like it) here we come!

It seems like we're playing to hold on upto around 60 minutes then make some changes and go for the away goal later on. This first hour is gonna be horrible to watch, attack vs defence. Such a risky strategy. They aint even in great form, we could kill this tie tonight but anyway.... The idiots need to prove their worth.
