This is the same guy our fans basically worship every game with the (senseless) "Diego" chants and his thuglike behaviour. No loyalty.
-
I won't be surpised if he flops hard.

Somewhat surprising move but it was time we literally paid the piper after all the great business we've done done in the last 3 years. It seems like a lot of money to pay, Batshuayi is not really a proven player but when you have Liverpool signing Europa league level players like Mane for ยฃ34 million, it doesn't sound that bad. Hopefully, Wilmots does the sensible thing and starts him vs Wales. He at least has the technical ability to play with Hazard and De Bruyne.

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/29908/10327347/eden-hazard-sits-out-belgium-training-with-injury I'm starting to worry about this injury that Hazard has been nursing. It seems to be the same one from the 2014 1st leg game vs PSG.

From the 2nd half of 2012 till the end of the 2014/15 season, it won't be an exaggeration to say Hazard was our best player in more than 60% of the games we played in all competitions. He's had some performances were he didn't even look human. Hazard will continue to be underrated until he leaves Chelsea (Drogba and Lampard also underrated) and English football in general and joins two of the OP giants in Spain. Welcome to football in 2016.

Who remembers this? I miss Lamps and Mata.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/06/27/chelsea-hoping-the-eden-hazard-of-euro-2016-will-return-for-them/ Interesticle article about Eden. Apparently, he's had a problem with his hip for almost two seasons. He's been playing with pain-killers.

I'm just loving how Antonio is making Moronho yesterday's news.
-
Tactically superb without the extra nonsense.

Hell no. Matic not too long ago was the best DM in the league and arguably in the world. His slump came as a result of Mourinho running him and several others to the ground, hence the simultaneous nature of the slump. The difference is that some other players managed to snap out of it quicker. With a fresh start under Conte, and hopefully partnered next to a guy like Witsel, not a defensive liability like Fab, Matic will be back to his best again. You can't question class. Same way i'll never question the class of the likes of Hazard, Courtois or Azpiliqueta. Form is temporary, class is permanent. I'll rather see the back of Oscar before contemplating selling Matic. Just no.

Shocker. Hazard wasn't as good or as consistent in Lille as he was for Chelsea in 2013-2015. Let's also compare Suarez from his Ajax days (why didn't Madrid sign him then, btw?) and Iniesta from his days as a bench player for Barcelona. "Real Madrid would have bought him up long ago". Yes, they wanted to sign him, but he refused to go there in order to get playing time. The same was Barcelona wanted to sign him as well. Do some research. You're way off in everything you typed.
-
Ridiculous comment right? Hazard's performance levels of from 2013-2015 have been the most consistent of any Chelsea player. Certainly any Chelsea attacking player. Have to wonder if some of these guys even watch our games.
-
Well, Eden was one of the top 3-5 players in the world 2 seasons ago. Anyone who wrote him off after a Mourinho meltdown/Injury plagued season was foolish in doing so. Yep. Not even close.
-
With all due respect.. Absolute nonsense. I can't believe people still believe this crap. Have you not been paying attention these last 2 years or so? Jose goes into crazy-mode to protect Jose from criticism. Nothing more.
-
Not to mention he also went undefeated throughout an entire Serie A season.
-
Fantastic news. It should never have been in doubt in the 1st place. Disappointed in the way the club dragged this out. Similar with the Lampard situation too. That's not how you treat two of your best players ever.
-
Insanely good. An almost perfect performance and another amazing goal! Must be frustrating for him to play like that and it's still 1-1, feeding off scraps for the last 30 mins. Again, imagine this player in the super teams, Barca, Madrid or Bayern.
-
Couldn't disagree more with people saying Hiddink has done a great job. Even a donkey would have made improvement on the Mourinho 3rd season fiasco. Hiddink ball is negative, stale and uninspiring. His 2nd spell has been mediocre and his obsession with playing two holding MF's even against poor teams is baffling. He's been extremely average and that's being kind.
-
This is our new level.
-
If he can get back to the player he was before this season, then, well, duh. The fact that there's a European Championship this summer doesn't help him at all. He needs a LONG break away from the game, imo.
-
Most minutes played by ANY outfield player in the Premier League since he arrived in 2012. 4th muscle injury in a span of 5 months. Mourinho never cared for managing this guy's body when he was here. He ran him to the ground and left us with what seems to be damaged goods. I felt he was our best player in the 2nd half, but that's not saying much. Plus his teammates are not on his mental level as usual. Can't read his plays at all. He needs to leave for Real Madrid ASAP to progress in his career.
-
Cesc playing a 2-man pivot was doomed to fail from day one. It was never a sustainable solution. He was a nice football brain, but he's laughable from an athletic perspective. Continuously bossed, bounced and abused by competent CL level midfield's. He's lucky Veratti didn't play today to embarrass him further.
-
Completely lost Rabiot for the 1st goal. I have no idea what Hiddink sees in him. His time at the club has been up for a while. No idea what he's still doing here.
-
Mourinho proved himself to be very special. He did something Guardiola, Simeone, Ferguson or even Wenger never did. Turn a champion into relegation candidates.
