I thought that might be the case. Fred did his bit during the Confed Cup, so it was slightly surprising to see him become the laughing stock less than twelve months later. Willian has definitely lost the edge he once had. Not sure if it's just down to getting older or personal matters having an affect on him.

Can't judge players on individual performances to form an opinion. Morata was awful against Bournemouth & Roma but look at Sunday.

Must have fallen upon 12 goals & we're ONLY in November. There isn't an issue being in denial but to say he is a "poor finisher" despite have more goals than anyone in our squad is farcical.

He hasn't. Did he just lose his ability to take set pieces? The fact they walked CONMEBOL in the end with Brazil winning all but one game under Tite is reason why hype is surrounding them. Not great individuals like years gone by but a solid team instead.

Hard for him to do so with Mourinho around and only 26 games in all comps. We all need to look forward though & forget the players that have gone.

People are judging him against our current option. We wouldn't be having this discussion if Sandro was signed.

There have been plenty of signings which raised eyebrows for the wrong reasons. It obviously doesn't all come down to him but a large part of these strange transfers seem to have his rubber-stamp.

Signings like Papy & Hector are the reason people disliked him.

Any midfield with Kante in it is better. [emoji1]

Mixed about the line up. Happy to have Kante back, but the fact Cesc & Morata retain their places is shocking tbh.

The fact he was tearing it up in Italy & we STILL sold him says it all.

I'm of the train of thought that it's secondary to stopping the ball going into the net. He's just being scrutinised this season with the emphasis on playing more from the back this season, due to the lack of a target man for the first time in a while.

It's good to see him despite Palace being 20th. Abraham on the other hand seems like someone that could have a good shout next year especially with our current CF dilemma. We've had a few players go out on loan and not come back (three of them are leading our rivals), so can only hope that's a thing of the past.
