There have been plenty of signings which raised eyebrows for the wrong reasons. It obviously doesn't all come down to him but a large part of these strange transfers seem to have his rubber-stamp.

Signings like Papy & Hector are the reason people disliked him.

Mixed about the line up. Happy to have Kante back, but the fact Cesc & Morata retain their places is shocking tbh.

The fact he was tearing it up in Italy & we STILL sold him says it all.

I'm of the train of thought that it's secondary to stopping the ball going into the net. He's just being scrutinised this season with the emphasis on playing more from the back this season, due to the lack of a target man for the first time in a while.

It's good to see him despite Palace being 20th. Abraham on the other hand seems like someone that could have a good shout next year especially with our current CF dilemma. We've had a few players go out on loan and not come back (three of them are leading our rivals), so can only hope that's a thing of the past.

Someone has to break the mold. RLC had chances last year but didn't make the most of them, whilst Chalobah wanted to leave for consistent game time.

He's just come back from injury. We're short of CM's as it is, so there's no time like the present for others to step in. Age is only a number at the end of the day.

We were 8 points behind City after only 6 games last season and won the title. I don't see us being out of the race just yet, but I know our chances will be over should we drop points this weekend. Ampadu certainly should have been given a chance at some point during Kante's absence.

Conte has given youth a chance in the past. He must not believe in the ones here or worried about it backfiring.

One of the best shot stoppers for sure. However, his distribution is almost nonexistent

Should be nowhere near the starting XI for a good while
