  1. Not sure what Baka's role is today. Three points are here for the taking, if Conte wants them.
  2. Happy Conte is going with a front two but unsure about dropping Cesc. Our wingbacks are going to have a busy afternoon for sure.
  3. One of the reasons some were in favour of him starting previously has vanished. £50m or cash plus Shaw should be taken without question.
  4. Would have been a decent signing for €25m in the summer, but that ship has sailed now.
  5. We've been unable to get a solid RWF in the last 3-4 years, so chances of replacing our best attacking player would most likely be mission impossible. However, we can only hope Emenalo's departure will change things in future windows.
  6. Don't think I ever seen that been said about a CF before. Some of the chances he misses completely are unbelievable.
  7. Lol! Dropped points would still work in Bayern's favour. P.S. I know it ain't going to happen
  8. Similar story to the weekend. Fortunate earlier on but cruise to victory in the end.
  9. Just hope they get the job done. This isn't the same side we dismantled at the Bridge.
  10. Never a fan of not playing with a CF. Just need to get the job done and secure qualification
  11. Just realised PSG haven't conceded a goal yet, so a massive goal swing would have to happen or Celtic pulling off a shock as you mentioned.
  12. Cesc is & most likely always will be noticed when he's in a two man midfield getting overrun. He can only play in our current formation IMO
  13. I'm sure we'll have everything in our own hands (PSG haven't won their group yet).
  14. Don't remember us being massive underdogs against Napoli or Benfica. Not scoring away from home is normally detrimental & it showed that night but we have to move on. We've had a decent campaign (only team to beat Atletico away) so far aside from the game in Rome.
  15. There really isn't any need to be so negative. We are far from frontrunners but anything can happen in a knockout competition & we aren't nobodies either. I remember our 2012 unbeatable squad, though. The good days
  16. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/20-most-expensive-transfer-deals-10878202 I never said £50m is the new norm, but it's a fee that is touted almost everywhere nowadays for most players. It doesn't raise eyebrows like it did when he signed Torres. City will get a pass along as they aren't spending 50m+ on multiple players & making a profit (https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/nov/08/manchester-city-record-revenues-accounts-wages-2016-17).
  17. Nope. I'm talking about fees in general around Europe have risen & these types of fees are looked at in the same way. Lukaku, Morata, Chamberlain, Dembele, Lacazette to name a few that cost close to that or more. In addition, Mendy was the only player that cost over £50m that City signed over the summer.
  18. That would be great business but can't see the latter leaving. We should be going for Shaw once again, though
  19. Have you seen the current market? 50m is considered value nowadays
  20. They are spending more rationally now that's giving them a pass. 5 players for £250m instead of PSG's route & they actually made a profit IIRC.
  21. We just need to get the job done whilst it's in our own hands. Don't see Atletico holding back with qualification hanging by a thread
  22. Kenedy is naturally a LWF/LM that's never played in that position during his time in England. He really needs to moving elsewhere permanently & grow up along the way.
  23. Moses should be considering he was a CF/WF at previous clubs and normally plays one of those roles for Nigeria. Just seems like he's been told by Conte to hold back much more.
