As far as I know, we can freeze the ban whilst the CAS appealing is happening. I don't know whether CAS can just throw our appeal out off the grounds you mentioned or whether FIFA can do something to prevent that themselves. I guess the reports of us delaying our appealing are for good reason.
I was stating my preference & what I believe team needs more in terms of a CF. On your second point, it seems likely one of those two scenarios will happen. I'm just shocked the club are backing the manager in a sense, but that isn't saying too much when no one wants the player. Being repeat offenders is the only thing that could stop the ban being postponed.
Aren't people free to voice their opinion as long as it doesn't over step the mark? Seems like it's affecting you for some reason (a smoker, I take it).
Last two seasons where he's rarely had a run of games or had stability. I believe he would easily score 20+ goals if he was a regular for us, but it doesn't seem like he'll ever get the chance. With that mind, get rid of such individuals for everyone's sake.
Ok..... 13 in 25 for Belgium, 30+ goal involvements in two separate seasons, etc. People like to shit on him like he's Jo. Jesus is massively superior because he plays OK in one of the best attacking sides in Europe? I'll leave you to have your opinion & my hilarious one will also remain. [emoji1360] They certainly are. Breaking or getting around almost all financial rules does have its perks.
We need a presence upfront & Jesus doesn't provide that. So do I. Ban or not, neither of them should be at the club come August (Giroud has made his stance known).
The train for Cavani is long gone. I'd still like the club go after Jovic's current strike partner, Haller. We need to stop overspending on names and go for someone with a decent track record thus far. He'll probably be the cheapest option amongst the names mentioned too.
I was talking about Mariano. Rodrygo, Vinicius, Hazard & Asensio vying to play in their preferred position? The club don't have a natural plan during these transfer sprees. It helps when there is only one other club to compete in the market domestically.
People kept saying (including his father) that playing time was key. He wasn't starting ahead of Suarez and I don't see him starting ahead of Benzema. Also, a deal to sign Rodrygo is all but a done and Diaz was brought back to the club last summer. Weird decision if that really was the deciding factor, as he'll effectively be vying with 3 other strikers at Real.
Cesc wasn't that bad in that role and did little to nothing off the ball. I just think we need to keep away from any idea that doesn’t revolve around a natural 9.
Buying strikers past their peak. Imagine if someone told us 15 years ago the list of CF's bound to play for the club (Shev, Torres, Eto'o, Higuain & Pato to an extent). The club just don't when to pull the trigger.
