With all due respect (and he deserves a lot) Drogba should not sign a new contract at the end of the season unless it's in a coaching or ambassadorial capacity. I genuinely think Solanke or Issy would have done more so far than him. It's upsetting to see but although there's been glimpses of his old self this season he's just not good enough any more...

COYB!
-
£21.5M would be a good deal for someone of his quality if Sterling/Reus/Bale aren't gettable or are extortionate prices.
-
If that's true and Real give us something like £20M for him that'd be the best transfer out from the club since Luiz.
-
I have only one thing to say on this matter.... COYB, I believe!
-
Quite like a good portion of the Juve players so would hope to see them win it. They're almost definitely not going to though, and out of the 3 remaining i'm struggling so much to choose. I think i'd probably have to go with Real Madrid as much as it pains me, purely because I can't stand Bayern's pathetic tactic of buying the best players from the competing clubs in their league every year (De Bruyne will be next I imagine) and they have a complete cunt of a manager. And if Barca win and I see Neymar, Suarez and worst of all that over-rated diving tool Busquets' smug cuntish faces smiling under that trophy I will vomit everywhere.
-
Of course there's a chance that would happen. But if we sign someone like Icardi for 10-15M, then we've paid that much money for a player who hasn't played at all either, so that'd be a huge waste of money. Swings and roundabouts. Also i'd make sure he'd be given those games, but maybe that's just me. I don't see why he couldn't start every League Cup game and some home games against the weak PL and CL teams.
-
Remy has been crocked every time he looks to get a run of starts which has limited his playing time. Also, he does have 10: 6 in the league, 1 in the CL, 2 in the FA Cup and 1 in the League Cup.
-
Haha what a prick.
-
Correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't the grooming charge imply that he knew she was U16? If so he's done for, and rightly so.
-
To be fair I meant half 2nd, half 3rd. If we're going to have 3 strikers in our squad then someone is going to miss out. I'd have Diego, Remy and Bamford. Considering we play around 60 games every season there's no reason why we can't have Costa starting around 35, Remy 15 and Bamford 10, with Remy and Bamford also having around 15-20 substitute appearances each on top of that. If we could give Bamford even 25 appearances with 10 being starts I don't see why we shouldn't keep him. And of course this is all assuming he performs averagely, there's a chance he could be like Harry Kane has been this season and force himself into being in the discussion for starting every game by January, give him a chance in Chelsea's team I say. The only other option that would be ok is for him to have another year loaned at Middlesboro IF they get promoted.

Has to be Paddy as 2nd/3rd choice next year. Has to be.

I personally think Koke is better. I wouldn't be fussed if someone said Thiago was as good though, he's not a bad player himself. But to claim he's 10x better is ludicrous, that's what's funny. Matic is 10x better than Joey Barton, hence my analogy. One more question, are you Nike in disguise?
-
InB4 some snarky comment like "Well that's constructive": If you really believe that Thiago is 10x the player that Koke is then I'm afraid you can't be saved or reasoned with. You might as well say Joey Barton is better DM than Matic.
-
Not keen on the home kit, but that away kit looks lovely. Seeing as I got Matic on my home kit this year, i'm definitely going for Terry on the back of that gorgeous away kit next year.
-
Woah, what happened to lead to that? Wait, the reporter better not have dared to say "Shouldn't you be at least competing for the title rather than just 'focusing on getting better every game' seeing as you spent nearly £200M on players this summer you complete cockfag?"
-
I could pretend I was devaluing the trophy as I really don't rate it, but that would be a lie. I just forgot xD. 1 in 2 years then . Point still stands .
-
Can't believe the PL will be his 14th (!) trophy with us. He's like a good luck charm. 12 trophies in his first 8 year spell with us, 0 in the 2 years he was gone, now 2 in the 1 year he's had back! Long live the King.

"So on the back of all of that (coupled with one of our players having contributed to 15 goals in the last 17 games) and the fact that we have we have essentially won the Premier League and Cup double the only thing some people can do is come on here and moan. Why? Seriously, why? To me someone who supports a team would want them to win and would celebrate when they do, but I have the horrible feeling that The Skipper (or was it Special Juan?) is right, I can only imagine that there were some people going into the last few minutes in that game begging for Utd to score so they could have fuel for their agenda.". My point was that you could have talked about any of the things I mentioned previously, but you chose to come on and have a dig at the people teasing the 'negativity brigade' with posts like "Rafa In" or "Mou Out". You chose to moan about something rather than mention that you appreciated the tactics or are happy with the win. That was my issue.

I'm addressing you because every thread in this forum I see your posts. And they all come across as incredibly self righteous and negative. If I was fishing for likes I'd have called out TheBlueGuy by now for or posted some insulting comment towards Lionsden (they would both be pretty popular I wager) or even quoted my positive posts from before the match. My question about whether you support the team at all is because following a match (arguably one of the most important of our season so far) against one of our biggest rivals no less, we won with a clean sheet and without being truly troubled at any time. I'm not going to insult your intelligence by suggesting that you don't understand how good of a tactical display that was considering that while Utd had so much possession it was almost all in their own half or curtailed into cul-de-sacs that they couldn't get through which resulted in (barring a few mistakes from Matic, Ivan and Zouma) Utd having no control of the game, no clear cut chances and maybe 1 or 2 half chances if that. So on the back of all of that (coupled with one of our players having contributed to 15 goals in the last 17 games) and the fact that we have we have essentially won the Premier League and Cup double the only thing some people can do is come on here and moan. Why? Seriously, why? To me someone who supports a team would want them to win and would celebrate when they do, but I have the horrible feeling that The Skipper (or was it Special Juan?) is right, I can only imagine that there were some people going into the last few minutes in that game begging for Utd to score so they could have fuel for their agenda. I'm not saying you (or anyone else) did that but with the way some people (you included) act sometimes I wouldn't be surprised. I find it incredibly worrying that people almost want to feel like there's something to moan about and I just want you to feel a bit happier about what is a fantastic result for the club and so by extension its fans.
-
Seriously dude, are your posts ever constructive? All I keep seeing is whining, self-righteous drivel. Do you genuinely support this football club? If so, please show it in some way or another. Please.

Courtois - 6 - Didn't have much to do, but my god he makes defending corners easier, the opposition are so scared to even put the ball in our box!! Ivanovic - 5 - Average game from the big Serb, got caught out a few times by Shaw though. JT - 6 - Bossed the defence well, kept Utd's chances to a minimum. Cahill - 6 - Really playing much better recently, was a good solid performance today and produced a magnificent block from Falcao. Azpilicueta - 6 - Did a lot of running today and was his standard solid self, rarely gets beaten. Zouma - 7 - Deserves a lot of credit for playing so hell especially given he was being played out of position. Quality player who really works hard. Matic - 6 - Not his best day but still very solid and broke up a lot of the Utd play with some amazing tackles and also went forward a bit more today. Oscar - 6 - Better from Oscar. Still had the problems with giving a few short passes away but a great assist, worked hard in defence and was better than usual. Keep it up. Fabregas - 7 - Think he played very well today, first time i've seen him play well in a game against a big team. Very intelligent game and did lots of work off the ball. Hazard - 8 - Did all he could when he could. He is by far our best player and I doubt many people would be against him being 3rd in the Ballon D'Or if it was named tomorrow. Drogba - 5 - Tried hard and played tactically well late on but some of his touches and passes early on were atrocious. Still the King of SB though. Ramires (sub) - 5 - Worked hard as usual and didn't make any mistakes. Mikel & Willian (subs) - N/A - Were used as delaying tactics.

Write it down, pay it out, set it in history. Short of an apocalypse or a war, we are CHAMPIONS.
-
As Matic's biggest fan... He needs to work on his right foot. His passes with it are really poor.
-
Ivan getting spanked for pace and Zouma out of position (he's not a DM after all). Hasn't started well.
