  1. Exactly. I can imagine Kane might possibly go the same way in the next 12-18 months, unfortunately for England. How many times does this happen to overhyped young players (especially the English ones)? Bentley, Wilshere, Townsend, Januzaj & Rose being prime examples.
  2. Really really would prefer us to play Fabregas in the pivot. His effectiveness is so nullified playing at no.10. We've seen it time and time again this season. This is what i'd play: -------------------Courtois--------------------- Subs: Cech, Cahill, Luis, Mikel/Ake, Cuadrado, Remy, Drogba. ---Azpi------Zouma------Terry------Luis--- ----------Matic----------Fabregas----------- -Ramires----------Willian----------Hazard- ---------------------Costa---------------------- But we all know Mourinho will play: -------------------Courtois--------------------- ---Ivan------Zouma------Terry------Azpi--- -----------Matic----------Ramires------------ -Willian----------Fabregas---------Hazard- ---------------------Costa---------------------- We'll win this either way, but I just want to see Fab back in the pivot. Providing the ref has a spine unlike the one in the first leg they will pick up tons of cards and likely have someone sent off. Also, if anyone could break that little cunt Veratti's leg without getting sent off, that'd be great. Seeing him cry would fill me with so much joy.
  3. While I see what you're saying, the whole "it doesn't suit your agenda/argument" cuts both ways here. I didn't include Alcantara/Shaqiri/Gotze because they were too old for my analysis otherwise I would have included Salah's stats from this season and more importantly Courtois, so... yeah. As for the dropping established players to bring in youngsters, I will go no further than to point you towards the Varane/Pepe situation, i'm not going to disrespect you by going into the details of that. As for Hojbjerg and Weiser, they were both signed to the club in 2012 (neither of them came through the Bayern academy) and currently has Hojbjerg loaned out to a lower league club (a bit like Kalas) so I don't think they're great examples of youth integration... Cheers for proving my point though. I stand by what I said, and i'll reiterate that while Mourinho is far from perfect, he's much better than most people think and Pep is at best only as good a him at youth integration. I highly doubt any of the facts I have presented will change your mind in this matter but I just felt like pointing them out.
  4. Guardiola? Appearances for players aged 21 or under in the Bundesliga since Guardiola joined Bayern: Lukas Raeder (2 appearances, 1 of those off the bench) Ylli Sallahi (1 appearance) Pierre Hojbjerg (8 appearances, 5 of those off the bench) Mitchell Weiser (5 appearances, 3 of those off the bench) Gianluca Gaudino (4 appearances, 3 of those off the bench) Overall: 20 appearances, 12 of those off the bench. Appearances for players aged 21 or under in the Premier League since Mourinho joined Chelsea: John Swift (1 appearance off the bench) Marco Van Ginkel (2 appearances off the bench) Mohamed Salah (10 appearances, 4 of those off the bench) [13-14 season only as 22 this season] Tomas Kalas (2 appearances, 1 of those off the bench) Nathan Ake (1 appearance off the bench) Kurt Zouma (8 appearances, 3 of those off the bench) Ruben Loftus-Cheek (1 appearance off the bench) Overall: 30 appearances, 13 of those off the bench. Stats don't lie man, Jose isn't perfect but the stats prove he's better at integrating young players into the team than Pep.
  5. Word of the day for this part of the TC forum: Ungrateful.
  6. Ruddy for me. Solid, good (but not so good that he won't be happy not starting - like Begovic), HG, lots of PL experience, English and a nice bloke. Butland, Bond or Steele might be decent alternatives, albeit all lack PL experience which is crucial.
  7. It was a joke mate. Extrapolating your true statement to ridiculous levels. I know exactly what you were saying and agree with it, read the rest of my post.
  8. You're so angry and confrontational, chill out.
  9. If you're going to start arresting people for lechery then pretty much every bloke and most women in the world will be in prison before long... Anyway, Cheating on your wife is obviously morally wrong and he'll get the punishment he deserves by being left and shunned by her family and quite possibly his own for his actions. Cheating on your wife is not illegal it's just very stupid. I don't understand why more famous/rich people don't just go the Ronaldinho route - never commit to relationships and so you can what you like with who you like without reproach. Knowing what some girls around 14-15 are like in this country (the ones that have fake IDs and go into nightclubs) I wouldn't be surprised if he was tricked and trapped. If so, whether she did it on purpose for fame or came out with it because her parents found out and reported it he's in serious trouble. Famous/rich people should really be smarter. Surely they've seen people stung like this before and should avoid 1 night stands with strangers for this exact reason.
  10. Have you seen Ramires' positioning and defending abilities?
  11. I slate him more than most and even I would love to see him lining up for us on Sunday. I don't think he's very good but he's a far better DM than Ramires/Azpi/Luis/Ake
  12. I reckon we'll win. Really positive about our chances . COYB!
  13. Would love to see us buy Varane and a proper cover player for Matic in the summer (Imbula, Moutinho, Bender, Kondogbia all good shouts and I would be happy with any of them). Really don't think we need another striker... Said it before and i'll say it again, Costa is our nailed on starter, Remy is a quality 2nd choice (would start for the majority of teams in the PL) and as our 3rd choice we could have Paddy Bamford. I really do think he's ready, he really performed against City in the FA Cup and he's scored 12 goals in 28 games (22 starts) for Boro which are pretty fantastic figures. It's not just that though, you watch the way he plays and he has a really good eye for goal and his finishing is absolutely fantastic. He doesn't hold up the ball very well (but then neither does Remy) but I feel like he could really develop that part of his game under Drogba if he (as expected) moves into a coaching role at the club at the end of the season.
  14. Are you suggesting we play him in the pivot!?! We have got a gap!
  15. Haha brilliant. Salah scores against Spurs and Demba assist against Liverpool. They're not even playing for us any more and they're still screwing those 2 mid-rate teams over. Well in the ex-Chelsea boys!!
  16. Yokohama have an unobtrusive logo, simple wording, nothing wrong with that at all. Will give us some reputation in and around Asia and all for a massive 40M/year. Fantastic, fantastic news. Really needed this after the latest FA debacle.
  17. What's everyone's bets on how long Henrique will spend in his hole now eh? My money is on 3.4months. WHS, you sir, are a legend. So nice to have that feeling of being clued in to what is going on at the club we all love (especially before the dumbass press), and it's all due to you and your info. Info which I might add, may have got you or your source in trouble so you had no reason to share with us but did so anyway. So, thankyou mate .
  18. I'm assuming the line up will be: ---------------Courtois----------------- --Ivanovic---Terry---Cahill---Azpi-- -------Ramires-----Fabregas-------- -Willian--------Oscar--------Hazard- -----------------Costa------------------ Subs: Cech, Luis, Zouma, Ake, Cuadrado, Drogba, Remy But personally I would pick: ---------------Courtois----------------- --Ivanovic--Terry---Zouma--Luis-- ---------Azpi-------Fabregas--------- -Cuadrado-----Willian-----Hazard- -----------------Costa------------------ Subs: Cech, Ake, Cahill, Ramires, Oscar, Drogba, Remy.
  19. Such a hard choice.... The PL trophy is by far more important.... But we could and should win it even if we lose at West Ham and I'm not sure I could bear seeing Spurs lift a trophy after beating us.... Reluctantly, beat Spurs...
  20. Let's be honest here, it could've been any referee in England and you could have found an occasion when they made a huge mistake against us this season...
  21. Sorry but how is this ridiculous "The ref saw it to some extent so we can't retrospective ban him" rule not the fault of the FA? They make the damn rules and bend them whenever they like. The ref must have seen Costa's 'stamps' as the ball was right there next to the incident, what else would the ref be doing, looking at the birds? But he still got a retrospective ban. The FA have no morals, shame and even though a rulebook does exist they only abide by it when it suits them or their agenda. They're a corrupt, contemptible shower of shit.
