I agree, as many have said so far this season, this diamond is just not working, if indeed that is the formation we're using at the moment, I'm not sure.

I didn't like that first half, I thought it was very shoddy!! Essien looks completely outnumbered in midfield; although he has won the ball well at times, Lampard has won nothing, just gives it away half the time, and Anelka is just not getting in the right areas, Porto are defending very well I have to say. One player who's stood out for me is Ivanovic. His crosses have been very crucial from the right, and he's won the ball very well. Overall, we just need to fucking wake up and attack!! We need to stay patient as well and keep tight at the back, like we've been doing.
