  1. Thanks but no thanks for me! I don't particularly want us to sign any more overaged players this summer! Would be completely pointless!
  2. I fail to see how Yaya Toure will be a decent signing for us actually.. 1) as milan.cech already mentioned he's another African player, so he'd be unavailable during the Christmas and January period, which would be a vital part of the season. 2) unless we are making drastic plans to sell John Obi Mikel (which I have serious doubts over) then I honestly think £17 million is a waste of money tbh.
  3. Chelsea are reported to have bid £17million for Barcelona’s Yaya Toure. Toure looks set to leave the Nou Camp with Pep Guardiola favouring Sergi Busquets and Seydou Keita but despite interest from Arsenal and Man City, we’re alleged to have stepped in with the first offer. Now, Barcelona don’t absolutely have to sell the 27 year old, so they won’t be in any particular rush to accept first offer on the table and you’d have to suspect that knowing City are interested – even if the player himself doesn’t fancy them – Barcelona will use that interest to negotiate the best possible price if Toure insists on leaving. So, it comes as no great surprise to hear that our alleged offer has been turned down. ------------------------------------------ Source:- The Chelsea Blog ------------------------------------------ He's young enough to replace Deco and Ballack if they both leave. Otherwise.... don't need him tbh!
  4. I believe this is the new Netherlands jersey for the World Cup?? The away shirt is a bit shoddy if I do say so myself
  5. The most awesome advert I've ever watched and I loved Homer Simpson!
  6. ...he's English at the end of the day
  7. I think Essien is the best midfielder in Europe, closely followed by Lampard and Xavi
  8. That is absolutely top quality mate! I'll be using that top bloke!
  9. Never Mind? I never got the chance to see what you wrote before!
  10. Is there any news about him? He was part of Twente's Eredivisie success along with Stoch! Do we think we should include him in next season's squad??
  11. Real Madrid may be tempted into loaning Kaka to Chelsea - only if Ashley Cole goes the other way. According to ItalPress , the Spanish giants may be warming to the idea of off-loading their £56million star if they can secure a player in return, and with a left-back high on their radar, Cole would be the obvious make-weight in any deal. The 29-year-old may also feel like it’s the right time to join the Galactico ranks, after personal problems and media scandal have dogged his last season with the Blues. However, it's unlikely that Carlo Ancelotti will want to enter into any kind of deal involving his full-back, and will likely try a straight-cash swoop in a bid to lure the Brazilian international. -------------------------------------- Source:- mirrorfootball.co.uk -------------------------------------- Get Fucked Real Madrid!
  12. I disagree with you, I think Kalou should stay with us. He's a great player. Yeah he's made terrible misses and sitters.. but he's had great games as well, where it's mattered. Hattrick against Stoke, quality goal against Wigan, great performance against Liverpool. Possibly going to make a name for himself at the World Cup. You think because he made "one sitter" in the FA Cup final, we should sell him? I have a feeling we could sell Anelka. Man United have been interested in him, but I'd rather see him go back to France, like Maka did. Deco, Belletti, Ferreira, Hilario, and possibly Carvalho might go I reckon.
  13. No sources about this but it's the breaking news on Sky Sports News It must be horrible for him! What a wanker Kevin-Prince Boateng is. Spurs reject!
  14. welcome! Hope you can stick around mate
  15. No I don't see a reason either, he's 28 as well so it wouldn't help to reduce the average age at the club.
  16. ROMAN ABRAMOVICH will reward Double-winning boss Carlo Ancelotti by backing a sensational move for Kaka. Ancelotti is a huge admirer of the Brazilian, who last year turned down a move to Manchester City. Instead, Kaka headed to Real Madrid in a £56million switch from AC Milan but his first season in La Liga has been a troubled one. He has been dogged by injury and has had to angrily deny rumours that he was more concerned about being fit for the World Cup than for Real Madrid's domestic campaign. Should Real not leapfrog above Barcelona in the last round of fixtures today - and that looks hugely unlikely - they will end the season trophyless. And that will lead to yet more major upheaval at the Bernabeu with Jose Mourinho almost certain to replace Manuel Pellegrini and bring with him a long list of transfer targets. ---------------------------------------- Source:- N.O.T.W. ----------------------------------------
  17. Chelsea face a tough battle with former manager Jose Mourinho to sign long-term target Sergio Aguero. Juventus and Mourinho's Inter Milan are Chelsea's two main rivals for Aguero, who is likely to have made his last appearance for Atletico Madrid in Wednesday's Europa League Final win over Fulham. Mourinho has been tracking Argentina striker Aguero for some time and, if he leaves the San Siro to become the new boss at Real Madrid, may even try to persuade the player to make the controversial switch across the Spanish capital's great divide. Aguero himself would prefer to move to the Premier League, but only if the deal is right. In previous negotiations with Chelsea, the player's representatives indicated he would be prepared to take a pay cut of about £1million net a year in order to fulfil his ambition of coming to England. But Aguero's package at Atletico is so lucrative that Chelsea would still have to put him up with top earner and captain John Terry, whose deal is worth about £160,000 per week. Aguero's buy-out clause is a whopping £51.5m, even allowing for the weakening of the Euro, although it is believed Atletico might accept significantly less. ---------------------------------------- Source:- N.O.T.W. ---------------------------------------- Not good... not good!
