it would be nice to keep him, but he isn't getting any younger. I reckon he will be another one of Ancelotti's let-gos after Joe Cole and Ballack. It is of course a good thing since we're trying to reduce the average age of the club.

Aguero 100% Pato wants to stay with AC Milan = respectful Benzema wants to stay with Real Madrid = respectful

exactly! You would expect players like Alex to miss out because Brazil have so many quality players to choose from... hence their superiority in world tournaments. Especially when you have the likes of Lucio as the captain, while Juan and Luisão are decent defenders to play alongside him.
-
I definitely agree! And what about Gabriel Agbonlahor?? I was shocked that I didn't see one article with his name and England in the same sentance. Another player that should have had a place is Darren Bent, and before anyone questions my judgement, just look at the number of goals he scored last season compared to "fall over" Heskey. About Lamps, he'd be 36 by the time next world cup comes around, but I would love to see him participate in the European Championship in 2 years time, but I doubt he will make next year's world cup. If he did however, he would probably be there as a veteran with loads of experience, and be used as a father figure for the younger talents in the squad.

In that case I would love it if we signed Simon Kjaer! He had a great World Cup with Denmark. I reckon the Danes would have beaten Japan in the Group stages had he have played against them. Their defence without him couldn't deal with Japan's attacks at all. Alternatively, a good deal to bring in Sergio Ramos would work wonders for us, put him on the right side, and shape Ivanovic/Alex alongside JT in central defence. It would mean getting rid of Riccy and Paulo, but our defence would look solid there. Or we could just sign no-one at all and let Bosingwa recover from injury and put back at right back, while Ivanovic and Alex probe for a central defence slot alongside JT. That would work just as well I reckon, since Ivanovic is an excellent stand in for Bos if he ever gets injured, and Alex is just as good of a replacement if Ivanovic gets injured.

well, he wasn't, until someone in a Roma shirt collided with him, and Aaron Mokoena took out his ankle. I still don't forgive him for that tackle! He was on his best ever form until that tackle.
-
Hahaha I laughed soo hard at that!!!

totally 100% agree! It's fucking ridiculous! City are turning into a circus act! If Silva wants to play in the Europa League then let him, but I bet he'll regret that he made the wrong move next summer.

Dude, I'm not saying Ashley is bad either, what I'm saying however, is that I just fear next season for our participation in the Champions League. I'm not sure how true this is, but rules are going to state soon that clubs will need to have at least 7 home grown players in their squad. We're going to end up with a completely foreign squad, and Platini will have to think about whether or not we should compete in the competition. I'm all up for bringing in the likes of Aguero/Silva etc. to the club, but at least bring in some English blood as well, albeit players from our youth academy... Hutchinson, Mancienne, maybe a good bid for Milner.. etc.

ok?? Cole is English, Ramos isn't!! We've already got rid of one Englishman at the club... I'm not prépared to see another one leave

Real Madrid want to conclude their summer transfer business by capturing Ashley Cole and Steven Gerrard. Real director general Jorge Valdano yesterday said they intend to bring in two more players, following the arrival of Argentina winger Angel di Maria from Benfica in a £20million deal. The Spanish giants will now step up their efforts to sign the Premier League pair following England’s exit from the World Cup and could even try to finalise deals before Mourinho starts work in earnest on July 14. Sportsmail understands that Real sent Chelsea a formal document registering their interest in Cole before the World Cup and are now set to follow up with a firm bid in the region of £25m. Real have already made an offer of £20m for Gerrard, rated at £35m. But with Liverpool saddled with debts of £472.5m, any increased offer for their skipper will be hard to resist. --------------------------------------------------- Source:- The Daily Mail --------------------------------------------------- Jesus!! Real Madrid is like a fly.... it doesn't fucking go away while it pesters you some more!! FUCK OFF MADRID!!!

Are you sure about that??

I give up!

As I so rightfully explained earlier fucking hate Man City! Bastards

I agree! I think Ivanovic is a fantastic crosser of the ball, he enjoys getting down the flank, and he's very quick at doing that! And he performed really well for us at right back while Bos has been out.

so this means I won't be able to tune into SkySports News in my room anymore?? What a fucking joke!!!

Official: Ballack joins Leverkusen
chrismada9 replied to TrueChelseaBlue's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Yeah! I think he deserves another shot at an International Championship after he was ruled out of the World Cup. He's a fantastic player, and I really hope he does well at Bayer Leverkusen! Thankyou Michael for 4 magnificent years of your service! -
the best thing to do is wait... it's not even July 1st yet, Spain haven't been knocked out of the World Cup, so it's not as if anything is going to be sealed any time soon!

More of a chance that he'll go out out on loan before playing for us.

Yeah but before all that, Calderon never wanted to sell Robinho to us in the first place, so he kept twisting the saga, making tabloids look like idiots and dragging it on until deadline day. In the background, it was Robinho who was looking for a move away from Real Madrid because of a fallout with Bernd Schuster, and he mentioned how good he would play in attack for Chelsea. Suddenly, some arab comes to a random mid-table club Man City and and spends all his millions on him, because Calderon didn't want to sell to us, and Man City just simply had the money. Now he wants to leave, I wonder if he regrets joining City over us. If Chelsea was his destination, the route would have been a lot more smooth. Players always go for the money, not the pride, and that's wrong!!
