  1. Good luck to you Michael at Bayer! Wish you all the best, thanks for the 4 great years of your service!
  2. Oh goodness how can I forget Sturridge! Sorry my bad!
  3. I honestly don't think letting go of Kalou is a good idea. I still think he should be given another season with us to prove himself. Plus, he's the youngest of our strikers by a fair decade.
  4. That's true, but look what happened to Robinho. He wanted to move to Chelsea but the only thing that was holding us back on a deal was Ramon Calderon's hatred of us. And just for good measure he decided to sell him to Manchester City on deadline day! At least in this situation, Valencia are in so much debt that selling their prolific players is paramount, so any bid can see us with a decent agreement. Only thing standing in our way is City's so called, "perverted greed". The point I'm getting at (and of course fearing), is that even in situations where you know a player wants to join a specific club, it might not be possible, and players have to choose the next best thing, (just like Robinho had to), if Valencia want a replacement striker because of their debt problems, then they are obviously going to head over to City. It's not like Valencia have the money to buy another one should they sell and pay off their debts. We can't provide a replacement striker for Valencia if we sign Silva. Would you want to see Anelka, Drogba or Kalou join Valencia? Of course Anelka isn't surplus to going anywhere since he's signed a contract extension. Yes, of course I'm aware that Silva wants to join us rather than City, but I do have my doubts. And as many have said on this forum... unless it's official on the Chelsea website, I don't believe anything.
  5. Valencia say they want Roque Santa Cruz from Man City for Silva, so it's stacked against us there
  6. most of the people have said no! to be honest I'm not surprised at that!
  7. Well done to everyone who got awards. I'm actually honoured someone nominated me for British Member of the Year though
  8. if we sign Özil, Aguero and Silva in one summer, I will run and skip around my local park naked!
  9. sorry my bad! I was meant to say "he isn't getting any younger" bit of a mishap there
  10. Ok, screw what I said earlier... I really don't think he's coming now! Chelsea could miss out on Argentine target Sergio Aguero after his club Atlético Madrid insisted the forward will remain with the Europa League winners. The World Cup star has been linked with moves to Chelsea, Manchester City and AC Milan already this summer however club president Enrique Cerezo said: "Nowadays, players ply their trade where they want to. However, I'm sure that Sergio Aguero wants to play at Atletico Madrid again next season." -------------------------------------------- Source:- A Different League -------------------------------------------- After everything he said about Drogba and Lampard, how can he say he wants to stay where he is?? Maybe this is just a rumor on a silly website??
  11. I agree with Matterz. If we can't sign Aguero (who has said recently he wants to stay with Atletico next season. Will find the source for that in his thread), then bringing in Silva is just as good.
  12. I wouldn't put your money on that statement, if we're going for a defender of any sort we need someone who's going to be the shadow for Carvalho, who's 32. Terry isn't getting any older either so a decent defender would be a good idea. I would however, prefer Simon Kjaer over Luiz.
  13. According to The Times this morning, Chelsea have offered £10million for Brazilian centre-back David Luiz . The 23-year-old has been at Portugese giants Benfica his entire career and was particularly impressive last season as Benfica won the Portugese title. Luiz is renowned as an intelligent, quick and strong defender and is also reportedly wanted by both Real Madrid and Manchester City . Benfica are reluctant to let Luiz leave for anything less than the £40million release clause in his contract as they prepare for a Champions League campaign and look to try to hold on to other stars such as Oscar Cardozo and Angel Di Maria. Chelsea's bid is likely to be way below the price that Benfica would even consider. Manchester City reportedly had a bid turned down for Luiz earlier this year, before Roberto Mancini persuaded Jerome Boateng to sign at Eastlands. Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti appears keen to add to his defensive options, given the age of some of his regular defenders. Ricardo Carvalho is 32-years-old with John Terry almost 30 and Alex only a year younger. Ancelotti will hope that Luiz might provide some long-term stability to the Stamford Bridge defence. -------------------------------------------- Source:- IM Scouting ------------------------------------------- Decent defender, but to be truthfully honest, I'd rather see us sign Simon Kjaer
  14. well, I didn't want to make it racist, otherwise it could have got removed from youtube
  15. downloaded it off youtube without any subtitles, and then I just added subtitles to it using movie maker, dead simple
  16. I did make that one I made it both out of frustration and humour. I wanted to put my views across about my feelings about signing Benayoun rather than Aguero and Silva, and at the same time, make it funny as well! I honestly think other people should make subtitles for this Hitler scene, would be awesome
  17. I'm not giving up hope! Chelsea are stupid not to sign Aguero in my opinion! I really REALLY hope we sign him
  18. LMAOO!!!! This is awesome! Definitely made me laugh! :champions: :champions:
  19. 5 main reasons why he's decided to go there 1) Money 2) Money 3) Money 4) Money 5) Money it's as simple as that
  20. Silva snubs Blues? Valencia star David Villa is set for a move to Manchester City in a £29m deal, after the club matched the asking price for the Spain man, according to The Metro. Chelsea had previously been favourites for his signature, but it seems they were unwilling to pay the full amount to cash-strapped Valencia. Silva had previoulsy stated he would prefer to stay in La Liga, but changed his mind when Barcelona and Real Madrid ruled out a move this summer. ------------------------------------------------ Source:- A different League ------------------------------------------------ Oh never mind, he only wants the money... what a shame! We're not willing to offer £30m for a talented 24-year-old winger, but we are willing to spend £6m on a 30-year-old Liverpool reject....
  21. I voted yes!! I feel confident we'll sign him, and I really hope we do!!
