Arsenal have been linked with him before.....

I have exactly the same feelings! I can't imagine the feelings I would have if we blew it on the last game. Especially at home, and especially to a team that Sp*rs were able to beat 9-1. It would be embarrassing to say the least, and I doubt that the players would have the instinctive to come out and applaud to the fans knowing that they've lost the league.

Sergio Aguero joins the other Manchester club

should it not be "Kun Aguero" on the back of the shirt TX or am I missing something? -
Chelsea have made a dramatic move for Fernando Torres that they hope will catch Manchester City cold and take the Liverpool striker to Stamford Bridge for a British record transfer fee that could reach £70million. Sportsmail understands preliminary discussions have already taken place, with the outcome of those meetings positive enough to convince Roman Abramovich that he will beat his big-spending rivals at Eastlands to the 26-year-old Spaniard. Chelsea owner Abramovich has been relatively quiet in the transfer market by his own extravagant standards since Jose Mourinho left. But the success and stability Carlo Ancelotti has brought, achieved with an attacking style Abramovich appreciates, have convinced the club’s Russian billionaire to make another stellar signing. Chelsea can secure their third Barclays Premier League title during Abramovich’s tenure with the right result at home to Wigan on Sunday — before then chasing a possible domestic Double with the FA Cup final the following weekend — and Abramovich now wants to add the extra quality to the side that will enhance their chances of finally winning the Champions League. Chelsea are not afraid to sign Liverpool’s best players. In 2005 and 2006 they went close to luring captain Steven Gerrard from Anfield and now they are sure they will succeed with the player named in the FIFPro World XI for the last two years and ranked third behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka at the FIFA World Player of the Year gala for 2008. Amid the chaos at Anfield, fears have already been expressed that Torres, who joined from Atletico Madrid for around £20m in 2007, will leave Liverpool this summer. It was only last year that he made a commitment to the Merseysiders by signing a new four-year contract worth £110,000-a-week. But the Liverpool landscape has since changed significantly, with under-fire manager Rafa Benitez now on the verge of leaving for Juventus, yet more uncertainty over the future ownership of the club, and the team’s failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League hanging over Anfield. Only this week Torres’s team-mate, Yossi Benayoun, said: ‘A club like Liverpool must do everything they can to keep players like Stevie (Gerrard) and Fernando but a lot of things can change and in a few weeks we will know better.’ Benitez has valued Torres at £70m and Anfield officials have said that they will not sell their prized asset. But until now, Torres has only enjoyed major success at international level, having scored the winning goal for Spain in the final of the last European Championships, and Liverpool’s shocking season has convinced him to look elsewhere. With the continued uncertainty over the future of Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini, and no guarantee as yet that his club will secure Champions League football next season, it is understood that Torres would favour a move to a more settled club who look like winning the championship. After watching his colleagues lose pitifully to Chelsea on Sunday, Torres cut a forlorn figure as the players did a circuit of the pitch to thank the fans for their loyal support. Indeed, he already looked like a man ready to move on. Liverpool were only concerned with his fitness yesterday, and whether he would be fit to participate in the World Cup after suffering a knee injury during a Europa League clash with Benfica last month. ‘Whether he will be fit for Spain’s first game or not is uncertain,’ said Peter Brukner, who is overseeing his recovery at Anfield. ‘But, if he continues to progress the way he is, he should be fit to play at some stage during the World Cup.’ By the time he does he will almost certainly be heading out of Liverpool. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Source:- The Daily Mail ----------------------------------------------------------------------- *BAH!* I'd rather sign Aguero for £35m less that amount that get a 26-year-old girly boy for £70m. He'd be a great addition no doubt, but £70 million is pushing it to the boundary I think.

Latest: Wigan 1-2 Hull City
-
If we know....if we know!! the title is in our grasp, we will know not to fuck ourselves over, because it's obvious that United will beat Stoke. We just need to stay composed, get our win and lift the league title!!
-
mathematically yes! but a win over Hull would be more convincing for them, they'll have guaranteed Premier League status by the time they come to face us.
-
it better not happen! Ashley is a priceless player at Chelsea!!
-
Last 4 games at home to Wigan in the League 08/09 - Chelsea 2-1 Wigan Athletic 07/08 - Chelsea 1-1 Wigan Athletic 06/07 - Chelsea 4-0 Wigan Athletic 05/06 - Chelsea 1-0 Wigan Athletic All in all, a decent record, Wigan have only scored 2 goals in 4 visits. Plus Wigan are pretty much safe from relegation should they beat Hull on Monday, so by the time they play us they won't have much to play for other than pride.
-
well, then we better not fuck up against Wigan, because you would expect United to beat Stoke and snatch the title away from us if we do!
-
fucking man united cunts and their smug faces
-
it's going to the final weekend
-
Oh my god hahaha!! I saw that, he's was giving it some wasn't he??? LMAO!! I can see Torres leaving Liverpool this summer! Now that they lost to us they can't get fourth place, and if City get into the Champions League I see them making a big bid for him, and Liverpool will have to consider the offer because of their financial status.

Quote from Rudolph: "It's not what we wanted - that's for sure. I thought Liverpool could do something. It's hard to expect them to win against Chelsea. The first goal? It can happen and I'm sure Gerrard will regret it, but it's happened. We've got to do our job - that's the pride and history of the club. We can't win everything. If we win today we can take it to the last day. It's that simple."

Salomon Kalou and Florent Malouda if Man of the Match had doubles I'd pick these two, they were fucking brillant today! :blue scalf:
-
whoopsie! my bad 3 points and it's ours! of course! But if it's a draw at Sunderland then only a point would secure it sincewe have the better goal difference
-
Man of the Match: Salomon Kalou / Florent Malouda!!! Played absolutely exceptional....EXCEPTIONAL!!! 1 point against Wigan and it's ours gentlemen!! :blue scalf:
-
2nd half nearly upon us!! COME ON!!!
-
Alan Wiley is a cunt, and always will be a cunt just for that penalty!! Just another un-penalty given to Chelsea. as for the half time 1-0 lead, I'm still shitting it because we had this score against Villa, Man City and Everton and we went on to lose 2-1. Another 45 minutes to go!! Come on Chelsea!!!!!!!!
-
Well, I'm about to go downstairs and watch the game now, and I only have three more words to say... "God Help Us!"
-
well under Liverpool there's Everton, and we lost 2-1 away to them as well Jesus Christ!! 15 minutes to go, and I'm feeling them armadillos!!
-
Exactly!! Not like our half-hearted performance against Tottenham which lost us that game. Feeling Nervous.... we haven't won away at any of the grounds of the teams fighting for fourth place either Villa 2-1 Chelsea Tottenham 2-1 Chelsea Man City 2-1 Chelsea Liverpool ?-? Chelsea we better not end up losing 2-1 again or anything worse than that COME ON Chelsea LET'S GET A WIN!!! :blue scalf:
