The only reason I would give for us signing Rodwell would be to increase the number of homegrown players in the squad. But we'll probably be adding the likes of Bruma and van Aanholt (assuming he doesn't go to Sheffield United on loan) so in this case, we don't need him. Agree with you 100%. I mean, I'm not naming anyone here, but a majority of 'glory hunters' only slag off the players they think don't stand out, whereas with the other squad players that do perform well, they brag about how good they are. Real Supporters back every player in the squad 100% however bad they've played, or however little they are contributing to the team. At the end of the day, it's them that are getting a hefty wage every week, and it's them, that wear the blue shirt week in week out to try and make the club successful.

yeah, Alex Miller is a bit of an idiot! It's all because they sacked Stahre at the end of last season, he went to Panionios I believe, and then Miller was drafted in. Honestly, Miller couldn't even manage a sunday league side He signed Helgi Danielsson who's been surplus to requirements, and Turina hasn't been a decent keeper, so it's all gone wrong for them. But the worst possible move before the start of this season, was let go of Ivan Obolo and Miran Burgic

Essien can drop and protect the back four when required (or Mikel can do that), then you have the pace of Ramires and Benayoun. I would really like to see Ramires against West Ham next month

Bosingwa trained with the Chelsea squad on Friday, so hopefully, he's making a speedy recovery. As for the CB position at the moment, I don't think we need anyone. We have plenty of options at the back in case one or two players gets injured. Brano plays right back and centre back, we have Alex and Terry as world class centrebacks, and we have the best left back in the world in Ashley Cole, with Yuri Zhirkov as a rather impressive second choice.
