I knew about Bosingwa and Kakuta out of contract, I wasn't aware Brano was as well!! IMO, Bos is a player we should keep, but there are reasons for selling him, first and foremost, he's prone to injuries, and because he's had to recover from this long-term injury, it could be difficult for him to recoup some of the form that he used to have. He has 2 months to sort it, which it's not much time in all honesty. As for Brano and Kakuta, I think these are two players we really should get new contracts for.. no excuses.

Hopefully, if Gael can be offered a contract by January, and Arsenal don't get Lukaku before we do, that will happen!

If anythng, if we were to improve the stadium, we would improve Stamford Bridge, not an entire stadium.

Sergio Aguero joins the other Manchester club

The only thing I would say, is that if Chelsea are willing to spend £50 million on him, we still have a chance, but Atletico can go fuck themselves if they think we'll even consider paying that much for a striker, we paid £30m for Shevchenko and look what happened to him. I'd rather see us sign much cheaper options, and have a much better chance of good form, like Van der Vaart at Sp*rs. -
Risky way of approaching the game to be honest, mind you, Chelsea don't have to play well to win games. I thought the last time we won there, in 2009, winning 1-0 was the perfect way to beat them at Villa park, score one goal by Anelka, and then defend for the whole of the second half.
-
Yeah he was, he didn't get his chance because Hiddink never played him
-
£30m for an overrated striker?? No thanks!

as far as I'm concerned, Chelsea and Stamford Bridge are a match made in heaven... we don't need to move
-
I couldn't put it better myself, the fact that Real don't like us, just tells you that none of their players will ever join us, just ask Ramon Calderon and when he repelled the likes of Robinho away from our club and agreed to sell him to Manchester City... that itself speaks a lot of volumes. Neymar is a much better and younger player anyway.

Well at least we know one thing, we're not getting him... full stop! Neymar wants to join us, so why not we just go for him instead! At least he's much younger -
That's all very well, but the fact of the matter is, that Alves was a lot older when he came here. Also, Robin van Persie and Dirk Kuyt (and Van der Vaart right now) seem to have done alright in the Premier League.

I don't know if I'm meant to be posting a "rumor" rather than a proper report about it, but I thought I'd post it because I reckon it's rather interesting.... IM Scouting Van Wolfswinkel is apparently the next best thing in Holland, do we gamble on a player like him?
-
I have to say it, Mikel has been one of my favourite players so far! I feel as though he's really come on as a Chelsea player, and he's finally beginning to mould into a regular starting eleven... AND he's young, which speaks a lot of volumes for him as a player, and for the career ahead of him. At the beginning of the season, I was hoping Ramires was going to get regular starts, and that Mikel was going to struggle to get into the side, but Mikel's performances have made me think otherwise. The fact that Ramires has only just joined the club, and Mikel has spent more years at the club tells you that he's bound to get more starts in the side than Ramires this season. Though Ramires played exceptionally well against Arsenal yesterday. Ramires I think was a huge buy on Mikel's behalf because it gave him a wake-up call to work hard for the team, and in doing so give him a place in the starting eleven ever week, and his display proves that he is only getting better every game, which makes me think, the more competition there is for places, the harder the players will work. Ramires has only just started to get a feel of English football, but mark my words... because there's a lot of competition for midfield places, particularly in the center, he will want to work extremely hard to get into the team, and we'll see the best out of him. Going back to Mikel, I thought last season, he was sluggish with his movement, and I was furious when his back pass gave APOEL the chance to equalise at Stamford Bridge last year, but I think it's been Carlo's encouragement to him, to be whatever he wants to be, and like Alex has already said, it's working wonders for him. That's one thing I like about Ancelotti, his words of wisdom to players. Letting his players know they are capable of doing a good job on the pitch, and even when teams are on a bad patch, they can pick themselves up quickly with a good set of wins under their belt.

I have one of those feelings where I think to myself, I want to use that as my sig!!

I see where you're coming from Esk, but I noticed when we were trying to pass into spaces, Arsenal kept closing us down, Essien was literally being closed down by Wilshere and Diaby, and it was hard for him to do anything. That's why we needed Lampard, because he slows things down in midfield. I thought Mikel in particular had a brilliant game, we saw the best of him. He dealt with pressure really well and was able to break up play and pass to a man in space. The same goes with Malouda as well. He has so much strength to just hold the ball and pass to someone who has more space than him. Exceptional.

Two good jokes.... 1. Who's up for a Liverpool relegation party at the end of the summer?? :champions: 2. Why can't Arsene Wenger make tea or coffee at the Emirates?? 'cause there are no cups!!
-
Totally agree!! As the game went on, he was really settling into the midfield, winning some remarkable balls and he made a superb pass for Ashley Cole for the first goal. I told you this guy needs time to settle!!
-
What a corker from Alex!!! 2-0 against the Arse! FUCKING GET IN!! Sleeping well tonight me :blue scalf: Up the Chels!!
-
seriously?? :ballack: by the way, as the game has gone on, Ramires has been superb!
-
Definitely agree with you. Him and Chamakh work well together! And they have Vela on the bench who can do some damage
-
45 minutes until kick-off  in the words of BlueLion... "I'm fucking bricking it!" It's going to be my own personal fan-zone in my living room between me and my dad!!
-
Heskey will fall over all the time, there's no way he'd score
-
On paper, we should be able to win this rather well, I reckon by two clear goals if that. But there's always very funny thing about Arsenal. Even without their best stars they're still able to perform well, and play good football. I'm not as confident as a lot of people here, it's up to Chelsea to prove me wrong
-
welcome maaan! hope you can stick around :blue scalf:

It wouldn't be a bad investment, not a guaranteed first starter I wouldn't think..... but I worry on Bruma's behalf. Otherwise, it wouldn't be a bad signing, a back-up for Alex and Terry if either or both get injured for whatever reason.
