Plus one! TX would back up my claim that this is the time Kakuta should be getting at least a run-out! If it's not immediately at the beginning of the second half, he should come on after at least 70-75 minutes have passed, or when Chelsea are at least 3-0 up.

Just seen the first half, and I have to say, even though we're 1-0 up we are by no means the team that are likely to get goals goals goals. Wigan are matching us with every pass we're making, particularly in midfield. The likes of Essien and Lampard can't function properly as a unit, and we're getting too suckered into making poor passes. Also, Flo and Ash down the left side about once or twice have got exposed by Ronnie Stam a few times (I rate Stam, he's a pretty good right back for Wigan). He caused a lot of problems. I hope Chelsea can perform better in the second half, because as .sum41 said earlier, this is reminding me a lot of our pre-season games, our defence at times is very shaky. I remember Ivanovic getting put under pressure at the beginning of the first half. The good thing is, that Cech's in goal, because if it was Hilario or Turnbull between the sticks, I'd predcit the score to be 2-1 Wigan at this stage.

It's a shame because Aguero is a player I really wanted to see us sign. The fact of the matter is however, is that we were prepared to pay £25m for Neymar, and then offer him the sort of wage Terry and Lampard aquire every week. I think we should be okay with Drogba for at least another season. He may be 32, but he is still considered the best striker in the Premier League. Every Chelsea fan should realise that.

yeah I agree. He had an absolute nightmare at right back against West Brom, particularly when we were 1-0 up in the first half, soon as Brano came on for him, he was so much better. However, if Ramires does start for us next game, it will probably be from the bench. Chelsea are normally a side who bring new players on from the bench.

Petr Cech can also be called Pete though. I'm not sure about this possible signing, it's just the fact that he's unproven. I think we should go for a well-known keeper simply because it would be a lot easier to work with because we would already know his abilities.

I feel so sorry for him! He's worked so hard to get where he is and now he has to retire because of a recurring injury. I'll never forget his assist for Lampard's goal against Stoke last year

I am strongly getting the distinct feeling that he won't be joining us this summer. I think that Santos are demanding way too much money for the player. Besides, we have the likes of Sturridge and Kakuta on our books at the moment who are next to good enough for this season. It won't be the end of the world if Neymar doesn't come to us.
