All is quiet from the blue side of London.

It sounds like the plan is for a big bid on Danny Rose now that it's proven we will not get Sandro. Doesn't matter what the papers are saying; if Danny pushes for it, I think this one will happen. It's up to Danny then.
-
Abdoulaye Doucouré looks like a player worth watching closely over the coming season. Very good awareness, ability, passing, build/athleticism. The kind of CM I like personally.
-
1. Blaise Matuidi just signed with Juve for 18 mil. 2. Chelsea have an exceptionally thin squad 3. Chelsea are trying to sign Drinkwater (yes, he's HG however) 4. It is now more than halfway through August WTF are Chelsea doing?
-
"A bit more respect???" Seems to me that Conte deserves more effort or 'respect' from the club. I don't see any way around signing four more players for this squad and we will still likely be thin on goalscoring when the window closes.
-
Wednesday the 16th an NOTHING so far. It's as if Chelsea star in their own drama, Waiting for Sandro.
-
Only problem with CP loan is that CP are so weak. I think Ruben will get a ton of attention from opponents (pressure). He is so talented. Hope he returns to CFC first team and does break through.
-
Why are you even wasting time analyzing the first match of the season where we were down a man early? Be happy about how well new players played, how Michy demonstrated his lack of ability while the window is still open and the fact that no one was seriously injured in a thin squad.
-
So, you want someone to take the first step toward walking on eggshells for a player who also wanted to leave the club for months? Logic makes no sense whatsoever.
-
Not sure what to watch on TV anymore... oh yeah, shows, not football!
-
This is genuinely looking like it's doomed. Regardless of who is to blame, CFC really don't know WTF they're doing. Season started, 2.5 weeks to go in window and in order to compete this season with any shred of seriousness and high morale, CFC need another 4 or 5 players --and hedging on "4 or 5" is a compromise for an "aspiring big club." Again, we're not a "big club" that knows WTH it's doing. Might be time for two divorces, not just one.
-
After this match was finished, all I could see were positive things coming from what transpired. I am 100% happy with what happened today at Stamford Bridge and on top of everything, no players were badly injured. We need another striker, two centre midfielders and two wingbacks. Hoping that at least four of those arrive this month. Also, I'm pretty sure that my next Chelsea shirt will bear "Lionheart Luiz" "30" on the back.
-
Who is playing centre midfield next week then?
-
No changes because Conte wants Batshuayi to DO SOMETHING. Don't think he can. And anyway, why would anyone want Morata on the pitch for a game that already lost, risking injury?
-
What the crap. This Batshuayi kid is hopeless. Buy Gabbiadini and get Bats outta here.
-
Enthralling battle at Vicarage Road. Both sides need new centre backs.
-
Conte easing him in.
-
My fantasy side says the same on Musonda not starting. so close.
-
Right now, one of the more interesting centre midfielders I've seen is this Abdoulaye Doucouré for Watford. Like another Kouyate-level player it seems. Good athleticism, passing, anticipation and vision.
-
We'll see, but I think that is just what he is: a limited midfielder who doesn't make things happen. BTW, Richarlison is on now (the player Chelsea were supposedly scouting).
-
Most non-existent player on the pitch for Watford. Britos gives the ball away, but Chalobah is a total passenger. No surprise; same as previous performances.
-
I'm guessing the front 3 will be Bats, Morata, Willian with Musonda as a sub, Fab and Kante CM, Ruediger starting as RCB, Dave at RWB. Such a thin squad. Wow. My choice might be to use Musonda from the outset and let Morata hit them late, but IDK.
-
Needs new boots.
-
Looking at our lineup and the fixtures, I sure as hell am not using Chelsea players in my fantasy team --but that's the same every season at the opening, right? Musonda was an attractive idea, but I chose Loftus-Cheek instead. But seriously, everyone is on-edge at the moment. Transfer window is crazy and our Granovskaia and company haven't really proven themselves yet.
-
United will dominate our midfield as-is.
