  1. Very meticulous performance from Luiz tonight, he looked a monster of a centre half, he's the one that starts everything at the back, distributes play like he's got the number 10 on his back.
  2. I think they all performed, even the ones that came on in the second half. Willian caught my eye also though, he's got some silky skills on him.
  3. I am the only one that thinks the side we played tonight has more balance than our first 11? Our midfield of Mikel - Essien allowed us to completely take the game whichever way we wanted it to go, we bossed the possession, we closed down, and played the counter....it was a joy.
  4. He, alongside Mikel, was a joy to watch, I wanna see him play more.
  5. I have to reiterate, he was absolutely boss tonight, I think Jose has just what he needs in midfield now.
  6. He tried hard tonight but every time the camera panned on him all I could see was someone who was nervous and under a lot of pressure which meant he didn't quite show what he's capable of. The good thing is that he started and was part of a winning side that beat Le Arse at the Emirates, that should give him a push.
  7. He's a machine, bossed their midfield for fun.
  8. Made up for his goal tonight. He had a tough first half but never stopped working and then got his reward in the second.
  9. I've been impressed with out back 4 and our goalie, as well as Mikel and Essien are looking strong. Willian looks amazing on the ball, there's a gist of Ronaldinho in his touch. Mata is working very hard and is also doing well as is Eto'o. The player I most wanna see doing well tonight, Kevin, is working hard but he looks nervous, once he gets passed that he'll improve two or three fold.
  10. Superb first half from Mikel, our stand out performer tonight so far.
  11. I strongly disagree on Willian and Schurrle, both have been doing very well and impressed me, they turned a few draws into three pointers for us.
  12. On a free it's a no brainer, by the looks of it, we'll be buying a DM/ box-to-box alongside someone like a Khedira or a Alonso. A Massive change in the middle of the park for the following season, finally.
  13. Double post again, It appears we are very keen on a few players for the January transfer window.
  14. I've watched about 5 Vitesse games so far and he impressed me every single time. Highlights of his last game: As meetdoscar said, he got two assists, rattled the crossbar with a freekick and whatnot but what impressed me the most was the way he's just driving past players, he seems a lot quicker now.
  15. While he may not be a superstar, I've watched him enough times to be sure he'd walk into our starting 11.
  16. I'm sure Kevin will play tonight, and I wish him good luck. The thing is, we are winning just about every game now, and even when we're not playing that well, and lads on the bench have come on and made the difference to turn a few draws into wins, Willian for example could arguably get a place in the starting line up based on how well and how influential he's been. He's also been excellent defensively which could be an area where KDB could improve.
  17. Agents love moving their players about so they can get a good old slice of that transfer fee. I'm not sure if I'd be for or against Mario here though. We need a CM/DM much more than we need a striker.
  18. Moyes is the gift that keeps on giving, a complete laughing stock. The longer he stays at yenited the better.
  19. I my books he is already, we won the UCL mostly because of him.
  20. I feel he does not belong in that position, that's my gripe, knowing how much better we could be if we had a player made for that role. I wouldn't mind seeing Frank as the AM in a 4-3-3 in some games for example, but not in the pivot in a 4-2-3-1. I wonder what the people who are saying he was good yesterday would be saying if Hart hadn't given us that early Christmas gift. To prove I wasn't being unfair when I said he was poor, here are two match ratings from goal.com (yes, I know) and the dailymail: "The 35-year-old was overwhelmed by the pace of the game and the industry of City's midfield. Tends to look increasingly pedestrian in the marquee matches - and this was no exception. Subbed after 65 minutes." "Struggled to get into the game and once he was booked early on, he couldn't afford to take any more risks"
  21. I wound't call them cheap, they are wise. They just spunked over 40 mill on someone who is worth every penny.
  22. Fenandinho's passing stats are not really relevant as he was the one player in charge of playing through balls, long diagonal passes, etc.
