  8. Bojan signs for Stoke City on a four year deal. Interesting to see how such a player handles a cold rainy tuesday night in......Stoke.
  9. Mourinho is keen to see Bamford working alongside Costa & Torres but plans to loan him to continue his development #CFC (Evening Standard) Bamford made a big impression among #CFC coaching staff and is considered a genuine prospect for the first team in future (Evening Standard) QPR keen on luring Patrick Bamford from Stamford Bridge [on loan] #CFC #QPRFC (Evening Standard) Chuffed for the kid that he's made a good impression! Hopefully he can be our next breakout star. Don't send him to QPR though, Rio 'tweeting camelface' Ferdinand will infect him with his twat-like tendencies.
  10. Omid Djalili @omid9 · 47m Sources tell me #Drogba is being brought back to #CFC to play in certain games primarily for #Lukaku to "watch and learn" #Mentor
  11. I'll just leave this here.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBeGLpnNpN0
  12. The player aspect of the deal worries me a tad, but even in my wildest thoughts I can only see him as a benchwarmer/emergency starter if we have serious injuries. I seriously doubt we are signing him as a legitimate threat to the number one or two striker role which I see going between Costa, and HOPEFULLY Lukaku. Torres can just sit and model our training kits for all I care. What is valuable is his experience and influence. The amount of times I saw him getting players riled up for games in the tunnel/on the sidelines, sometimes even when not playing himself. During the champions league winning campaign, besides the goals, he struck me as a leader on and off the pitch. So many of our players past and present have said what an impression he has in the dressing room. I hope he can help ;Lukaku with his development and tone him down a lot in terms of media comments/work ethic etc. Because we all know some improvements need to be made to have him even be our number 2 striker. I even think having him working with Diego Costa will benefit our new multi million pound target man, with Didier's experience in big games in the PL as well as how to adapt to the league, it would be brilliant to have him around. I understand the skepticism because I think most Chelsea fans deep down didn't want him to tarnish the last kick for Chelsea but I can only see the positives in a coaching role for Didier in the future. Getting him in now makes sense, Lamps is gone, Terry will be winding down and Cech's position is under threat with the equally brilliant Thibault. We could do with some wise old heads prevailing in tough times during our season. I hope Didier can deliver again. Mostly off the pitch, but the odd substitute goal along the way will be great to see.
  13. Wenger's just been knocked silly by the news............. ............. ............couldn't resist
  14. Can't help but be chuffed with it. (if true) It's a real head vs heart thing. Head says NOOOOOOO he had the perfect send off. Heart says......well let's be honest the heart is doing a rendition of 'didier drogba lalalalalala' Hope he can steer Romelu straight, and if that is the case then this could be invaluable!
  15. Dharmesh Seth saying repeatedly on SSN that he will fight for his place. I cringed at the point in the discussion where he said 'Romelu seemingly pledging to Chelsea by changing his twitter bio to *Belgian International of Chelsea football club*'. Best of luck fighting for your place big Rom! Hopefully you do more than change something on twitter in the coming months! :blue scalf:

  18. Good news as far as I'm concerned, thought he's been solid whenever called upon. Hope this season he gets a fair crack! Congrats Romeu!!
  19. Graham Hunter on Khedira (1/3): "Arsenal have made the running in terms of a bid & there’s no question Real Madrid have accepted that offer" Graham Hunter on Khedira (2/3): "The hard line for Arsenal is that, if Wenger wants Khedira, it’s time for him to move his salary structure" Graham Hunter on Khedira (3/3): "If they dilly-dally, and Mourinho is committed, then he’ll join Chelsea." (talkSPORT) #CFC #AFC #RMCF
