I wouldn't say I hated Torres. I usually reserve my hatred for players of the opposite teams...having said that he just depresses the shit out of me. I remember countless games where he looked like he didn't give a damn about playing for us and was having one of those days. That shouldn't happen. What motivation does a guy need to play for a club as great as ours with the money he is on. I have had so many arguments with my dad about Torres, especially the last 6 months, but my usual line of discussion is, he doesn't damn well move, the amount of times I've seen Costa make darting runs into the NEAR POST (which Nando forgot existed) in only two games makes Torres' few years here look all the more dreadful. I appreciate his little glimmers of good form but that's the problem, they were always only little moments. The semi final goal, the europa league final goal, and his performance against Man City last season. I remember back to when I watched Chelsea vs Wigan a few yrs back, and it was 1-1 going into the last minutes, and all that was shouted around the ground was 'TORRES, TORRES, TORRES', everyone wanted him to come on, and boos for Drogba who was having a bad day. It's ironic that Didier gets a heroes welcome, and Fernando will be (hopefully) out of the club with a whimper. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but he needs to go. End of.
