  1. We will win the league. Great effort by the lads.
  2. Probably stand up again a wee while later...
  3. LOL talk about reading between the lines.... As if you are holding it against him that as a 19 year old in the Czech Republic he was excited about the possibility of joining a big club like Arsenal. Like he's supposed to have been some life long Chelsea fan before even having joined us, otherwise that's not good enough. The guy everything he had to this club for 11 years. He was no longer a starter, you can't blame him for not wanting to spend the rest of his career on the bench, and for not wanting to uproot his family from London. A class act, he has all my respect and I wish him the best of everything apart from footballing success...
  4. Was just goin gto post the exact same!!
  5. Is Schneiderlin even confirmed? People majorly over reacting in here!
  6. Yes, Thauvin is a tool! Imbula has joined Porto by the looks of it. Shame...
  7. Gutting, but honestly, I do not hold any hard feeling towards Petr. He has been and will continue to be a Chelsea legend. Obviously he didn't want to sit on the bench and we have to understand that he was settled in London and wanted to stay. You have to respect that he is a man with a family that he doesn't want to uproot. Gutting for us but I respect it totally.
  8. That game where he schooled Yaya over and over again and spanked the bar from miles out....
  9. Is he really that much of an upgrade on Willian for the RW? It seems to me his output is similar. Don't get me wrong but 40M is a lot for what could maybe not even be an upgrade...or at best a very slight one...
  10. I think he's talking about number of world class players in the squad rather than his actual position per se.
  11. Cabaye wants to leave PSG and come back to England. Decent option if we can get him cheap to play when we play 3 in midfield with Matic and Fabregas, and step in to replace the creation of Fab when he's unavailable? Maybe too expensive transfer and wages wise though....
  12. True, but if you gets straight As the times you do show up, then I think you merit a B-..... Agree for the others though.
  13. Good work! I would have given Zouma a slightly better mark, and probably Remy/Costa too.
  14. Paid by who? Anthony Rudiger or Gianluigi Donnarumma?
  15. I'm not sure you get the point. Why is he not banned yet......?
  16. I imagine that is what his recent outburst online was about....disappointing to see.
  17. No chance. Faaaaaar too expensive to be Costa's back-up. Just the Metro running out of options with which to fill their daily 'Chelsea lining up shock bid for XXXX' template....
  18. Probably not. Bet he's cursing just how accurate he is with a football now.....
  19. Cesc showed why he is top of the assist charts there, absolute pinpoint accuracy. Disappointed that more youngsters did not start (at least Ake for example...). Don't really care about the result to be honest, it has no bearing.
  20. Mourinho said: "Now, for the first time, he'll have a proper rest, proper holidays, proper pre-season - which he never had too - and hopefully that can give him a base to develop. "I really believe in Oscar's talent. I have many hopes for him." http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12040/9855002/jose-mourinho-hails-development-of-chelseas-academy-youngsters Good news? Bad news? Time will tell, but he will be here next season by all accounts....
  21. I think it's more to do with the flak he would get if he played a 'reserve' team against a team still fighting relegation on the last day (ie. maybe Sunderland). In contrast to that, WBA are safe so he can play who he likes. It's not a slight on them or their motivation, just saying that he can do it and it doesn't matter if we lose to WBA, noone will kick up a stink. Sunderland would be a different matter if we lost with the kids and they stayed up as a result.
  22. You like him so much you screwed his name up? Griezmann is light years ahead of Dybala. Remember how good the last Argentinian import to the PL looked after shining in Serie A....?
