OK, I mis-interpreted the 'On the other hand' in your sentence. Wasn't having a go or anything, just think it makes a lot of sense the way the club have done it to not do a big tour this year, whereas next year it won't be a problem.

It's not sucha big deal as there isn't a WC so players can get their holidays in before the tour starts, and not be already knackered arriving for preseason

Actually a tough draw for us, but I'm not too disappointed. The above post about 'Almighty Paris' is nonsense. They are a top top team and have legitimate aspirations of winning the CL. Take it from someone living in France. They were VERY unlucky not to put Barça out last season. Will be very tough, and they are especially stronger in CM than us without Matic, but we can still beat them. I'd say it's the hardest to call of all the ties.
