you clearly dont know what match fit means, just leave it at that.
and again what are you talking about, saying he isnt any different, he has barely played! its bizarre how you can judge him already when he hasnt had a chance yet, he has made 3 sub appearances 2 when we were down to 10 men! and you are already comparing him to last season! judge him when he actually gets some decent amount of miutes on the pitch.

As Mourinho said, KDB wouldnt have reached this level had he stayed at Chelsea. He wasnt training 100% because of lack of motivation. We dont need players like that at our club, no matter how good they are.

Why the 'Rodriguez' in the thread title?, the football world knows this man as 'Pedro', if anything.. Rodriguez confuses it, considering. This reminds me of when we had Oscar's full name in his player thread title

we shouldn't let one match Remy was bad to shadow how good he was for us last season, against teams all sizes. He has a bad history against Arsenal, it's a bad matchup for him, so as long as Costa can play Arsenal in the league, that wouldn't be a problem.
I do worry about Costa's absence though because even if Remy is good and Falcao will probably improve (right now he's the same as DD for me, and that's after a summer competition, limited rest and a landing in a new team - so whatever much he improves from now on is already an improvement over DD), but Costa is one of the best strikers in the world. He was way off form in preseason, but I trust him to play well in the regular competition. He's probably one of those guys who can't really bring himself to play his best in friendlies because his fuel is competitiveness and hunger to win, things that aren't really at stake for real in friendlies.

If we replace Remy with Falcao, with no intention of Remy wanting to go elswhere, this will be the most stupid action in the summer transfer period.

one of the worst thing is - somewhere down the road, when people would get into an argument over players, no one will remember the "performance" willian put in today, but instead they would simply copy paste number of goals and assists to make their point.

I'm not familiar with Independent. Are they considered reputable as a paper? This is horrible. Comparing an attacking midfielder, a player that creates space and chances with strikers and finishers.
Lampard scored 16 goals and provided 9 assists in 05/06, and won the league (not just winning the league, but winning it a second time in a row). Yet Gerrard won with 10 goals and 5 assists. I'm sure there were no complaints or questioning of his quality then. Robbery!
Drogba scored 29 goals and provided 10 assists in 09/10, and won the league. Yet Rooney won with 26 goals and 3 assists. Same story. Robbery!
Bale played behind the striker in 12/13, scoring 21 goals and providing 4 assists, finishing outside of the top 4. The difference in goals+assists compared to Hazard is 4. Yet Bale was hailed as if he was the new Ronaldo. And don't get me started on Bale and Giggs winning in 08/09 and 10/11.
There are 5 games left. Hazard should be able to manage two goals and two assists, bringing his total to 15 goals and 10 assists in the league. A fine return.
Hazard might not be not the most impressive POTY winner as an individual, but he is the star player of a side that has dominated the league from start to finish. Never disappearing. That says a lot more than goals and assists. And there is still more to come with Hazard.

Just rewatched the game and wow, he was insanely good. So many attacks started with him.
    - Willian>Cahill>Remy shot
    - Willian>Hazard>Oscar
    - Willian>Cesc>penalty
    - Willian fk>Ivanovic
    - Willian interception>Eden>Remy goal
And then he also beat his man on the RW and crossed the ball a few times. Combined well with Cesc and Eden. Created space with his pace running forward. And then his superb pass (one of his most underrated assets) to Cuadrado. Pfff this guy was so good, absolutely his top 3 best games for us.
Stoke at home is his favourite enemy now, last season he was the motm in that game. (Also playing at #10)
Really want to see him in the middle cause he actually also can score from outside the box:
    - Norwich (left foot)
    - Southampton
    - Stoke
    - Everton
    - Watford (not televised FA cup game)
And something I've noticed ( I might be wrong) is the reason that Willian takes some set pieces is because of the ball speed. Cesc his passing and set pieces aren't that hard and fast, his balls are mostly high floating balls without a lot of power (example, assist to Costa vs Arsenal) but accurate. Willian's set pieces are faster and harder and that's tougher to defend for the enemies compared to the floating balls from Cesc.

The good thing about Willian though is that regardless of where he plays, 95% of the time he won't be a liability. Yeah, sometimes he doesn't do much, but he won't ever have games where you can't even depend on him for the basic things, so he's very low risk player.
He'll always give you good ball possession, good defense, and he's an elite ball carrier.
There is a lot of pressure on Hazard and his attacking midfielder counterparts don't really help him much in the goals/assists department so obv they will get stick. As long as we replace Oscar with a player who can contribute more to the offense, I'd be perfectly happy with Willian just doing his job like he has been since he joined. We don't need 10 goals and 10 assists from every position.
Costa, Hazard and one more dependable guy is more than enough. Oscar has the ability to be that guy but considering his inconsistency, you can't ever depend on him.

Mikel and Oscar do compare quite a bit... Contrary to what you're saying, any one that knows anything about football would know they have actually had a similar pattern in their development. (Not a dig at you Joker, more so at SMDPSG). I'll detail how they do below.
Mikel was once considered a world class talent, believe it or not. He led his Nigeria to the finals of the U20 World Cup in 2005 where they lost to Argentina. He finished behind only a certain Lionel Messi in the Golden Ball award. He was seen as a huge talent from then onwards. Oscar is another player that shone massively in the U20 World Cup, hence why he was so heralded - he did after all score a hat trick in the 2011 final in which Brazil won. Both were considered massive talents at a very young age.
Don't forget that Mikel scrapped a massive, controversial transfer saga between us and Manchester United. Surely, if he wasn't considered such a huge talent at the time he wouldn't have caused the above. I'm pretty sure you are well aware of the details of Mikel's transfer to us. Huge things were expected from him, he was seen as a potential world class midfielder. Oscar similarly had a lot of clubs after him after his showings in the 2011 U20 World Cup.
Both came at the club as massive talents and were seen as players that had the potential to be world class midfielders. As we all know, Mikel did not develop as well as we wanted to - various reasons for that i.e. him having his position changed from originally being a number 10 to a number 6-like anchor man, him not developing into a star at all etc... While IMO Mikel is not a bad player, he certainly isn't good enough to be a starter for us. Very solid squad player IMO though. I can easily see the same happening to Oscar. It's scary how his best game IMO for us was his Champions League debut three seasons ago. He hasn't developed as well as he should have despite having an ample amount of game time (just like Mikel) and he definitely hasn't shown enough over the last three seasons that he is good enough to be a nailed on starter in his position and one of the best in his position in the world either.
I used to be a massive Oscar supporter, until after a few months ago, you can check my posts. I have run out of patience with him though. If you believe that Oscar still has the potential to be one of the best number 10s in the world then fair enough but I've seen that that ship has sailed a long time ago. I didn't want to bring Eden into it but one thing I will always remember is how some said that Oscar will be a better player than Eden. That's how highly he was rated. Now anyone would laugh if you suggested the same.
Unfortunately, he just isn't a special player like that. As I've said many times before, he'd be a pretty good squad player and he isn't useless but we can definitely do better. Luckily for us, Oscar has a pretty high market value it seems, so I definitely wouldn't hesitate to sell if a nice offer came in.
