  1. Past hour
  2. Palmer rested from training today to allow him to rest, he will be fully fit and ready to face Everton at the weekend No plans to bring back Emegha this January
  3. Today
  4. Cup manager at best no way to win PL someday with him .
  5. Apart from Reece James I bet nobody on that field for us knew of the intense rivalry from years ago Makes me sick thinking back to that game
  6. Complete underestimation of the Leeds v Chelsea dynamic, previous encounters at Elland Road, thinking they would roll over, their crowd and atmosphere, the rivalry since the 70s - resulting in a weakened team selection, and a general arrogance that it was a done deal Learn from it for next season
  7. So they don't want top tier conpetition for places just a roster full of donkeys.
  8. Next summer Australia for pre season.
  9. You guys want new experienced midfielder?
  10. I explained in that post they said he is starting quality and apparently they do not want to spend the cash on that and just roll with Colwill and BADI (arrrffff) as our lefty CBs so fucked so stupid
  11. I so so hope he get really big money for selling Nico Jackson he is hardly a shit CF let's use Bayern as an example suppose Kane somehow leaves what are their actually options to replace him? here is a valid (IMHO) list of options who are better atm than Nico (or have clear potential to be better soon) it is not all that long at all (and FOUR are from Inter Milan, lol) strike-throughs are NOT available (no Kane on this list as he is the one leaving in this example) in order of valuation Erling Haaland Kylian Mbappé Alexander Isak Julián Alvarez crazy expensive and such a hard pull Ousmane Dembélé Hugo Ekitiké Lautaro Martínez very expensive and such a hard pull Victor Osimhen very expensive Marcus Thuram very expensive Viktor Gyökeres Omar Marmoush João Pedro Gonçalo Ramos (BUT probably NOT available, and if he is, then he will be very expensive) Serhou Guirassy potentially better: Samu Aghehowa Nick Woltemade Pio Esposito (also, will be so hard to pull out of Italy) Ange-Yoan Bonny Matheus Cunha is more of an SS I rate Nico over Kai, same for Nico over Benjamin Sesko The ones in bold would be doable for Bayern, but IF we are talking about us, Chels, replacing Nico then the list REALLY drops as Lautaro (29yo this coming summer), Thuram (29yo this coming summer), and Guirassy (turns 30yo in 3 months) are all too old and we will likely never pay the fees and wages Alvarez and Osimhen will demand now, especially the transfer fee for Alvarez, which will be at least £100m also Alavrez is 26yo next month, and Osimhen turns 28yo in a year Ramos is likely not available and probably would not come here (not sure and I may just rate Nico over him anyway) plus Woltemade is not really our type so we are down to THREE and none are locks at all to be better than Nico Samu (now FAR more expensive than when we turned the deal for him down) and the very raw dice rolls of Esposito and Bonny I would probably go for Pio, but he will be loathe to leave Inter and Italy in general he is probably the next great Italian CF, along with AC Milan's 17yo Francesco Camarda
  12. Yesterday
  13. why they dont want murillo? he is young and player for notts, which is a midtable team and atm they are fighitng for relegation
  14. surely BOTH Disasi and Tosin are hopefully soon gone BUT we now come to another huge blocker BADI we have a huge problem with a lack of left-footed CBs and as (as I posted in Transfers) per The Athletic, we will NOT buy Murillo (and thus we can also really also forget other class lefty CBs like Alessandro Bastoni, Alessandro Buongiorno, Jarrad Branthwaite, Castello Lukeba, etc) because he is (this is insane) STARTING QUALITY which means (as we will also not get LCB-playing right footer Guehi) the board fully intends to roll next season with a (hopefully) completely recovered (dice roll) Colwill and then Badi, with lefty Hato (who is more of a LB) as an option......... as our left-footed LCBs all the rest of our CBs are right footed RCBs: Trevoh Chalobah (NOT a true EPL title-challenging quality starter at all) Wesley Fofana (who is never, post-injuries, going to return to near WC levels) Josh Acheampong Mamadou Sarr (coming in summer 2026) Aarón Anselmino (returning from loan in summer 2026 unless cheap-ass Dortmund meets our price, which is unlikely) plus the 2 turds Axel Disasi Tosin Adarabioyo rolling with the very meh Badi, and thus blocking any inbound actual quality lefty LCBs is club-fucking MADNESS, especially as we have no clue how good Colwill will be upon return AND Badi is very injury-prone himself
  15. so you are all good with Penders as the starting Gker and then Filip Jörgensen as backup? as we are NOT buying another class GKer so no (pretty comprehensive list of all remotely available decent (IMHO) keepers, including older ones) Maignan, Kobel, Diogo Costa, Guillaume Restes, Oblak, Marco Carnesecchi, Emiliano Martínez, Alisson, Ederson, Zion Suzuki, James Trafford (who really wants to leave Citeh so he can start as a clear number one), Bart Verbruggen, Anatoliy Trubin, Mile Svilar, Noah Atubolu, Matvey Safonov, Vanja Milinković-Savić, or even Bento or (young but rising fast) Rome Jayden Owusu-Oduro? IF we did go with Penders AND sell Sanchez, I would feel better IF we sold Jörgo too and brought in a real quality vet, like: Marc-André ter Stegen or Yann Sommer or Alex Meret the problem is ter Stegen, Sommer, and likely Meret will also (like all listed above) want to start a lot (and ter Stegen is massively injury-prone now) so maybe we would have to drop down to a Predrag Rajković or Maduka Okoye or even Mattia Perin or Nick Pope (eek) or Dominik Livakovic
  16. Said the same thing, there is an article in the Mail describing the strategy employed by the directors. They are aware that it could risk getting some terrible results during the course of the season, but its a risk they are willing to take. Apparently it will yield "long-term benefits" whatever that is. IMO, that long-term benefit is just boosting the resale value of these players. It's no coincidence that this Chelsea team has seen one of the highest number of starting 11 player rotations in the league. And no surprise that Maresca himself comes out after the Leeds match saying that he 'regrets' not starting with Acheampong.
  17. worst result of the seaon by far enraging as they are just pure shite
  18. Speaking of Emegha, as Delap looks to be out for a long time and we have crazy issues at CF (zero chance we bring back Nico), we should at least try and bring him in this January, and sell Guiu to Strasbourg.
  19. I saw our results and we already dropped a lot of points. At home against palace, brighton and sunderland... away against leeds and bournemouth.... Our season is being bad. a lot of worst than the last season. One of the main reasons ofc was the presence in the club world cup
  20. So, The Athletic says we will NOT make a move for Murillo in January, nor in the summer. The reason given tells you all you need to know about us buying any quality left footed CBs. They said that the club will NOT buy Murillo BECAUSE HE IS STARTING QUALITY. In other words, we are going to roll with Colwill (next season) and Badi for lefty CBs, with Hato as lefty backup option (unless he is loaned out). Also..... Be prepared to be profoundly disappointed for Joel Ordóñez or any other truly class right footed new CB, as we already bought Mamadou Sarr and have Anselmino coming back from loan as well (unless Dortmund buy him for the price we will demand, which is highly unlikey as they are the archetypal 'big but cheap as fuck' German club. The same goes for GKer, as Penders is very likely to come here in the summer, so forget Maignan, Kobel, Diogo Costa, Guillaume Restes, etc etc. Finally, the same goes for CF, as we have Emegha already coming in, so forget dreams of Osimhen, Lautaro, Julián Alvarez, Marcus Thuram, or even (more speculative than proven vets) Pio Esposito or Samu. Kane would never come here. As it stands, we simply have to sell multiple players (especially Nico) to even make a play for the crazy expensive Wharton (or even Elliot Anderson, etc), the one BIG name we may still move for. MAYBE, IF we sell enough players and give up on Wharton (and all other expensive MFers), we might make a play for Kenan Yıldız (who is my number one winger want) BUT Juve will want insane money for him, likely Wharton level money. Bottom line, the board is going to enrage many people there next 2 windows.
  21. It’s criminal that we find ourselves in this position. Teams like Villa & Palace were atrocious to start their seasons and are now above us.
  22. Then waiting for the PE teachers excuses
  23. Lucky we arent 6th because brighton could have won easily. Think we'll be 8th/9th soon
  24. fifth place by now what a shit season, tbh
  25. that is another problem. ofc, we need to have players with focus in our club. If he wants to leave, thats fine for me. Besides, Idk if he will reach the level of the first season with poch
  26. And reinvest it in someone with no first touch.
