As you will know, Trafford was signed by City last summer but he is playing backup to Gianluigi Donnarumma. Trafford is already getting itchy feet and wants to be a starting goalkeeper, so he is seeking an exit from City. Our sources have heard that Chelsea are now monitoring his situation in case they decide to bring a new goalkeeper in this summer, which is something that they are considering. Trafford has been on Chelsea’s shortlist for some time now, even before he joined City. You might remember we reported our interest in the stopper not so long ago, so he’s always been on our radar, and now we are looking into making a possible move to sign him. Trafford went back to City from Burnley in the summer for a fee of around £30m, signing a 5-year-contract at that time.
