  2. At Elland Road there was a complete underestimation of what the fixture means to Chelsea and Leeds history, hierarchy and long held deep rivalry. I think Rosenior is more aware of this, and wont underestimate them for this return fixture Palmers confidence will be sky high, and hopefully infect the team.

  4. Barca is deffo his preferred destination from whatbInhave seen lately it makes sense IMHO he is made to order for their system under Flick In terms of proven world class CFs, Lautaro Martínez, and Victor Osimhen are the only 2 remotely possible, maybe available options IMHO, plus maybe (IF they sell him) Isak (big gamble), pluxs (pure stop-gap as he will be 38yo), Lewa, but why would he ever want to come here Harry Kane would very likely never ever come here, IF (they would be crazy to sell him, but who knows) Bayern sell him some here love to say *OMG just get a proven world class CF', but they just are not out there, other than the ones I have listed for so so long
  5. yes probably and we will have laso acheapomg. the question if the board sell fofana or chalobah and try another center back. lets see ...
  6. Today
  7. I don't see them selling Chalobah as they will need CB's (particularly with Fofana's injuries and Colwill will be returning from a bad injury). Whether Colwill, Fofana, Chalobah and Sarr is enough next season...
  8. and why alvarez would want to join us? he want fight for titles. He will go to barça
  9. We won’t get Julian Alvarez. He is top class though regardless of what people think but he isn’t necessarily an out & out 9, he is sort of a hybrid player who maybe plays best paired up with/playing off a more traditional striker. Him & Tonali would be exceptional signings - hence why neither will happen. I’d be surprised if Alvarez doesn’t go to Barcelona, given the talk of the past 12-18 months. Both players will be costly though wherever they go. Badiashile leaving would be good, not quite kicked on & still fetch a decent fee. Would give Barco another season in France also, no harm in playing every week for another 12 months. Will be better for his development & we hold all the chips with regards to ownership/trying to do a deal.
  10. I expect him to leave along disasi and tosin at least IDK if the board will try to sell chalobah but the others three must go
  11. Chelsea player now rated as “very likely” to be out of the Blues’ project this summer By Simon Phillips - 9th Feb 2026, 06:30am https://Chelsea.news/2026/02/Chelsea-player-now-rated-as-very-likely-to-be-out-of-the-blues-project-this-summer/ Chelsea centre back Benoit Badiashile is now rated as “very likely” to be out of the Blues’ project ahead of the summer window. The Blues are already being linked to possible new summer transfer targets and actually, I’ve had info on a huge shortlist of players that they are courting ahead of the summer window, which I have been releasing exclusively on my website over the last 7 days or so. As well as this, Chelsea have been strongly linked with former Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez this week, with reports suggesting they are advancing to sign him after holding positive talks with his reps. As always with the summer window though, we will be hearing all sorts of rumours and stories in the lead up to it, so we will have to wait and see what happens in the summer as to where we will be at with Chelsea’s squad come the end of it. There has also been fresh Chelsea links to Morgan Rogers of Aston Villa, a player who is consistently linked with The Blues and Fabrizio Romano is now teasing a potential move again with this fresh story. Badiashile to go? Benoit Badiashile with Moises Caicedo. (Photo by Justin Setterfield/Getty Images) According to a report from Caught Offside this weekend, Benoit Badiashile is now rated as “very likely” to be out of the Blues’ project as transfer suitors emerge ahead of the summer. Interest is named as coming in from AC Milan, Juventus, and Marseille ahead of the summer window, as he’s set to be made available for around €35m this summer. Chelsea consider Badiashile out of their project and will ideally look to sell him permanently rather than loaning him out. Never been good enough I’ve never overly rated Badiashile and I don’t believe he has ever been good enough to be playing at the heart of The Blues defence. I think it will be good to move him on now and I’m surprised he lasted this long.
  12. Chelsea are interested in signing the Argentine ace Valentín Barco from RC Strasbourg. https://www.caughtoffside.com/2026/02/08/liam-rosenior-wants-valentin-barco-Chelsea/ According to a report from Bolavip, the newly appointed Chelsea manager has requested that the club hierarchy sign the player. He worked with Barco during their time together at the French club, and he is well aware of the South American’s quality and potential. He has informed the Chelsea hierarchy: “I want Valentín Barco back.” Meanwhile, Enzo Maresca was keen on Barco as well. Can Chelsea land Valentin Barco? It will be interesting to see if Chelsea is willing to make a move for him at the end of the season. There is no doubt that they could use more quality and depth in the squad, and the Argentine would be ideal. He is a tremendous player with a bright future and could become a key player for the club with the right guidance. The opportunity to reunite with Rosenior and join one of the world’s biggest clubs will be quite exciting for the South American. It could be the ideal next step in his career. Regular exposure to the Premier League could accelerate his development and help him fulfil his potential. Chelsea could use Barco Strasbourg are owned by BlueCo, the same parent company that owns Chelsea. Therefore, it is fair to assume that an agreement could be reached easily. The 21-year-old is versatile enough to operate as a left back, a central midfielder, or a wide player. He could be the ideal utility man for Chelsea. If he manages to fulfil his potential with them, the deal could look like a masterstroke in future. Barco has one goal and four assists to his name in Ligue 1 this season, and he would only improve with coaching and experience. He is well-versed with Rosenior’s system, and he could settle quickly and make an immediate impact.
  13. I actually think he can come good , his holding up the ball is good and he doesnt get pushed off the ball as easily as all our other forwards
  14. A nothing rumor coming in February. I'd be surprised if he is actually on the striker shortlist.
  15. It just seems like a typical signing people would lose their minds over in 2 years time when we've dropped 90 mil on him and then hes bang average. We've seen with Liverpool that you can't just spend $500 mil and be good or better.
  16. Yesterday
  17. Hooked at half-time this evening too whilst 1-0 down. Don't think he has scored since November.
  18. But for the defence conceding from set pieces, he'd have two more clean sheets vs Palace and Wolves.
  19. Brilliant 🤣 Palmer Crashes Liams Post match presser
  20. I think there’s a player in there too. I’m just not sure it can happen for him in a team like ours. He was highly effective at Ipswich when no opponent was ever going to park the bus against you. He could use his pace and quick turns on the counter and was excellent at that. Here we dominate the ball in the vast majority of matches and Delap’s best attributes are completely nullified because every defense is jam packed and restricting him. He may have the body and physical tools of your classic big #9 but he isn’t a Giroud type who can play with his back to goal effectively or you can feed cross after cross. He’s basically a bigger, more muscular Nico Jackson who is a counter attacking specialist. I 100% think that if he were to be sold or loaned to some midtable club next season who play against teams who don’t sit back he’d be straight to scoring 12-15 PL goals.
  21. I think there is a player in Delap. Just needs some consistency of play and confidence. Your run in football often is about luck and timing as much as anything - eg Cole Palmer or Vitinha. Even last night against the Wolves - did some really great stuff but just didn't follow through with it due to confidence and game time. Turned his man several times, made a great run, and then just butchered the pass or overhit it. One being to Garnacho... who wouldn't have done anything and really is a lost cause.
  22. Yeahhh cant see today being a issue for them. City too iffy so more likely a win...
  23. That decision to jump in super early and buy Emegha when we did feels so premature now and may fuck us over in the summer. Now we’re going to be getting a player who will have missed half the season. Don’t get why we couldn’t just wait until the summer and evaluate the whole striker market. He plays at our feeder club so it’s not like we wouldn’t still have a massive leg up on any competition for him. Now we’ve essentially completely taken ourselves out of the striker market since I can’t see Delap going after 1 season. Really, I wouldn’t be stunned at all if Rosenior wants to give Jackson another chance who everyone kind of forgets about.

  25. Impending Chelsea signing ruled out for months with ‘frustrating’ injury https://www.thechelseachronicle.com/news/impending-Chelsea-signing-ruled-out-for-months-with-frustrating-injury/ Chelsea have already made four signings for the summer transfer window. The likes of Dastan Satpaev, Geovany Quenda, Emanuel Emegha and Denner are all set to join Chelsea after agreeing deals. Emegha currently plays at sister club Strasbourg, where he played under Liam Rosenior. However, there have been issues with the striker over in France. Emegha was suspended over behavioural problems and injuries have plagued him at times. But Liam Rosenior has been very complimentary of the striker, calling him ‘amazing’ and ‘fantastic’ during the win over Crystal Palace prior to moving to Chelsea. There’s bad news now, though. Emanuel Emegha ruled out for two months His last competitive appearance was on November 30, 2025, a brief 21-minute cameo in a 2-1 defeat to Brest. Following that match, he was handed a one-game internal suspension for comments regarding his future move to Chelsea and a perceived lack of respect for Strasbourg’s standing. During this disciplinary period, Emegha suffered a significant thigh injury in training. While he was nearing a return in late January, he suffered a muscle relapse just days ago. And according to Strasbourg manager Gary O’Neil, this latest setback is expected to sideline him for at least another two months. “Emanuel Emegha will be out for about 2 months. It’s very tough and frustrating for him. He injured himself in the same spot as last time.”
  26. Delap played well when he was on... not sure why you threw his name into the mix. Also JP once again wreaking havoc with a superb performance.
