Santos put in a good defensive shift but I thought we had no control in the midfield. Similar to Connor - he puts up nice stats for, but it wasn't what I wanted to see from that role.

Loyalblue started following Burnley vs Chelsea

Glad he had an excellent game as a defensive midfielder , however still lacking in creativity which i originally thought was his strong point, nevertheless everyone to his part.

this is insane Abortion, DEI Now Considered Violations Of Human Rights, U.S. Officials Say https://www.forbes.com/sites/maryroeloffs/2025/11/21/abortion-dei-now-considered-violations-of-human-rights-us-officials-say/ Countries with state subsidies for abortion, transgender-friendly policies for children, hate speech laws and affirmative action policies will now be considered to be violating human rights under rules imposed at the State Department that will impact how the agency conducts its annual Human Rights Report. Key Facts The State Department has issued new guidance to embassies, consulates and diplomats involved in compiling its annual report on global human rights abuses with instructions to note countries with state sponsored abortion policies and to report on the estimated number of abortion performed in a country per year, multiple outlets reported. The new guidance also includes instructions to report any diversity, equity and inclusion laws in the workplace, any policies that support gender transition surgeries for children and any policies that facilitate mass migration into other countries. Also targeted are so-called “hate speech laws,” like the internet safety laws adopted by some European countries to deter online hate speech, which the human rights report will now consider violations of free speech. Tommy Pigott, deputy spokesperson at the State Department said that "new destructive ideologies have given safe harbor to human rights violations" around the globe in recent years, adding "enough is enough." Critics have said Trump’s changes to the human rights report are disregarding longheld universal standards in the field in efforts to push the administration’s agenda. The new guidance comes months after the first human rights report under the Trump administration was issued and found to be roughly one-third the length of reports in years past and excluded things like poor prison conditions in El Salvador and violations of the freedom to peacefully assemble in China. Chief Critic Former senior State Department official and head of the Human Rights First charity Uzra Zeya told the BBC that the rules reflect "jaw-dropping" animosity towards LGBTQ+ people and said "attempting to label DEI as a human rights violation sets a new low in the Trump administration's weaponization of international human rights." Amanda Klasing of Amnesty International USA told AFP, a global news agency, that the new standards “send the message that the US no longer believes in the foundational element of the human rights system it helped build.” Key Background The first human rights report under the Trump administration was released in August and was notably shorter than the same report in years past, dropping categories on restrictions on free assembly, unfair elections, punishment of minority groups, gender-based violence and environmental justice. The state department earlier in the year reportedly directed employees to remove any category not explicitly required by law—Congress mandates the annual compiling of the report—in an attempt to make the reports "more readable." At the time, the administration was accused of weakening a report that was previously well respected for its impartiality and thoroughness. Tangent Trump was slammed earlier this week by human rights advocates after he brushed off the murder of the Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi. During a visit to the White House by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi ruler the C.I.A. has said approved the killing of the columnist, Trump said “a lot of people didn’t like that gentleman that you’re talking about. Whether you like him, or didn’t like him, things happen. But (Salman) knew nothing about it, and we can leave it at that.” The prince went on to call the journalist’s death “a huge mistake” that the kingdom never wants to happen again. The defense of the prince is the latest time has been accused of ignoring or defending human rights violations in Saudi Arabia and other countries to advance American interests, a criticism other presidents have also faced.

Yep, its the main reason why the likes of Tosin and George continue to get minutes. A bit of window shopping for potential buyers.

If these rumors are to be believed, Man United will be having a spending spree like Liverpool just did. Which seems far fetched because they’re still broke and have to sell to buy, no?
-
Yeahhhh not convinced about our game against Arsenal seeing how past years have gone..but even still..

Romano going full wild rumour-monger..... Chelsea have made an enquiry about signing Atletico Madrid midfielder Pablo Barrios, though it’s anticipated that he could cost as much as €100m. (Fichajes) Ibrahima Konate’s future remains uncertain, but Liverpool are expected to win the race for Marc Guehi. (Christian Falk, CF Bayern Insider) Could Dayot Upamecano be Liverpool-bound? Full story here! Bukayo Saka to Real Madrid? Surprise reports in Spain claim Los Blancos are preparing a huge move for the Arsenal winger. (Fichajes) Manchester United are confident over Elliot Anderson, with sources suggesting the Red Devils feel they can land the 23-year-old England international for quite a bit below Nottingham Forest’s £100m asking price. (Mark Brus, the Daily Briefing) Manchester United could end up signing all three of Elliot Anderson, Carlos Baleba, and Adam Wharton as they plan a major overhaul of their squad, including the sales of Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford, whilst letting Casemiro leave at the end of his contract next summer. (TEAMtalk) Although Ruben Amorim wants Robert Lewandowski, there are other key figures at Manchester United who are unsure about investing so much in the veteran striker. (Fichajes) Antoine Semenyo to Manchester United is now considered the most likely outcome of this transfer saga amid plenty of speculation and links with other big clubs ahead of January. (Fichajes)

Tonight we all pray for 6 big injuries to each side in the NLD tomorrow. 🙏🏼 A nice Declan Rice hamstring tear would do!

Necessary step to fix the shit buys they did and find some buyers, amazing stuff.
-
Agreed, fuck this shit if Tottenham and us don't stop them now they got the league all wrapped up.

It should be obvious by now. It's not Maresca making all the calls with squad selection and subs. The hierarchy above him WANT to give certain players as much exposure and minutes as possible. There was an article in the Mail about this a few weeks back saying this is a calculated risk. They know we might have the odd draw or loss here and there because of it, but the directors accept it as necessary step.

I am annoyed by it. Arsenal are the team to chase as they are top. If they win, they extend their lead over City. I would of preferred City to win and we do our business in silent as I don't think we will win the title if being honest. We still have not played a 'big team' away from home yet.

If Newcastle and Spuds can each take a point this weekend then we’ll have had an unreal couple of days here. Spuds will most likely get battered though.
