That's not good. Even if he can be incompetent at times, we still offers a different type of striking option. Guiu is good in terms of positioning but I wouldn't trust him to hit a barn door with his shooting. Not sure what happened to Joao Pedro. He looks so off it. Hopefully Palmer returning can see him return to some sort of form he showed early season.

Masterclass by Unai Emery and Aston Villa. 7 wins in a row, 3 points from PL table leaders Arsenal.

Harry Kane scored a hat-trick from off the bench as Bayern Munich thrashed 10-man Stuttgart. The England forward was on the pitch for just 27 minutes before he fired in his third hat-trick of the Bundesliga season. It takes the striker's tally to 28 goals in all competitions after just 22 games played.

All this money spent since the takeover and we are still just as desperate for a killer #9 three years into the project. Haven’t had a beast of a striker who strikes fear into defenders since Diego Costa almost a fucking decade ago. Just let that sink in. A club of Chelsea’s stature and with our resources and we have 4 strikers on our books if you include Jackson who are miles and miles away from being a 20 goal per season guys. How does that situation improve? None of these look like they even have the potential to become that!

i’m looking at your profile picture, i miss those times when we had players who bled for the shirt and fucking cared. Cheers
-
Leeds and Bournemouth had zero wins in their last five games before facing Chelsea, yet we managed just one point from both teams combined. That’s beyond poor!!!!

Enzo Maresca: "When you are not able to win, it is important we don't lose. I think it's something that can happen, the last pass in the last third. Cole was quite good with that, he played half hour the other day and one hour the other day." Enzo Maresca: "I think a lack of quality in the last third [meant #Chelsea didn't score]. Some moments, we know we are not going to score every game, now we are going to try and score on Tuesday. It was important to keep the clean sheet."
-
🔴Liam Delap update from Maresca: "He has to be out again. We don't know how long, but it looks quite bad. He has been unlucky."
-
Forget Delap, he's fucking shite, hopefully he's on the sidelines for a few months now and this is where he should be Pedro is grabage as well, even Garnacho had a go at him today because he's a ball greedy little cunt

There is just WAY too much variance in levels with our players. Some days some of them can look awesome and others they can look like they’ve never seen the pitch together before. What’s most depressing is that not a SINGLE ONE of our summer buys is looking genuinely good this season. Delap and Pedro who were relatively “cheap” by today’s standards and were looking like super smart buys during the CWC now look like the midtable strikers they always had been. Short of Palmer suddenly clicking back into his top form I don’t see what we do to help ourselves. And he looked super rusty in these two appearances so far which is understandable.

Boring. Mid players. Mid management. Mid ownership. Mid club.
-
People hyping up drawing at home vs arsenal who aren't that good , and beating barca in the group stage not the knockout (which we'd never do)
-
not surprised at all, completely expected at this point, that’s how shit we are. I was never fooled by results against Barca and Arse.

Loool I was thinking about this. How shit we are.

Another classy December for us Out of the top 4 and 8th by end of the Xmas
-
He';s took us as far as he can, end of.
-
So many players who looked super promising very early on or in the summer now look miles off Chelsea quality. Just like last December when Jackson and Palmer’s form fell off a cliff. We were in position to genuinely push on and put pressure on Arse. With our last 2 fixtures we should be doing exactly what City are doing and look where they are now after an Arse slip up. Instead, we have been left in the dust and will get nowhere near them. Our absolute ceiling is 4th with Maresca and these players. And that’s if everyone else around us slips up nonstop like we do.

Only a matter of time before estevao palmer and caicedo wise up and put in transfer requests - won't be winning anything under maresca and clownlake
