  1. Past hour
  2. If winning isn’t the goal then what is the point in tuning in every week? I only watch sports and support a team with the view of winning the prizes. I don’t invest soo much time into this club just to participate and make people money through media and merchandise sales. It’s not appealing whatsoever.
  3. 🔵Kendry Paez will be recalled from his loan at Strasbourg to go on loan elsewhere for more playing time. (@Matt_Law_DT)
  4. Today
  5. Its all about their SW6 stakeholding making a profit through various streams - trophies are sooooo yesterday
  6. Rosenior will get what he is given, he will have to ride with it, this is what he has signed up for And he dare not make any noises
  7. - Rosenior won't have the power to say "go and get me this player", will only be able to make reccomendations to the sporting leadership team
  8. Murillo with an OG v West Sham 1 nil pikeys
  9. He scored a great goal in the first half tonight for Côte d'Ivoire v Burkino Faso in a knockout game.
  10. remember we robbed them in the first game at the bridge. i expect the reffs fucks us over. especially since they got robbed vs liverpool too
  11. Probably. This appointment hasn't been done for us to win trophies and that..dont think they care about that so much
  12. I predict the match threads will get more angry Rosenior will be using more rotations and weird substitutes to advertise Bluecos young acquisitions, something that Maresca didnt do enough and that upset Blueco allegedly
  13. gusto, reece and palmer are playing in wrong positions
  14. there is any important player that fulham is missing?
  15. The whole “at least we should see our players playing in their correct positions now” sentiment that I’m seeing from a lot of people I’m skeptical about. What exactly does that mean with our current squad? Fofana & Trev is our best CB pairing and that automatically means Trev plays outside of his natural position on the left instead of the right. Lots of people moan about our fullbacks pushing up into midfield or even bombing all the way forward in Cucu’s case but that’s what’s made him such a valuable player these last 2 years. Tbh, the positions the players were deployed in wasn’t so much the issue with Maresca. It was the constant chopping and changing and never building genuine chemistry.
  16. He’s flexible and adjusts to the squad it seems. I don’t think 3 at the back is his thing but rather it was a good way to play the style of football he wanted with Strasbourg’s squad, so he did it.
  17. so like almost any other manager in the history. btw are we going to play with a back five or he's flexible to change his philosphy
  18. I’ve watched some videos on him, and he looks like he gets the basics down and down quickly, he likes quick passing and is very forward thinking, he suits the kinda players we have better than maresca for sure, but like you say, he has to come off well from the get go
  19. Like I said earlier today, I'm wanting him to prove everyone wrong including me but the biggest thing is how the players take to him and how he sells himself to them. The moment they frown at you or don't fancy it it's game over and they all have to buy in. He's got basic errors, easy to play against, discipline and being more killer in front of goal to sort out and if he wants top 4 he has to sort this and quickly. He also has to decide his strongest 11 and quickly and stop all this chop and change shite
  20. I don’t agree with the appointment but I have to say, he comes across well in this video. Looks like the players will warm to him if we get results.
  21. While it is quite uninspiring, I actually think he'll be fine. We know the head coach role is much more limited in scope than old style manager positions, so the damage he can do is already minimised, and it seems he is very strong tactically like Maresca was so I suspect it is at worst a sideways move there. His decisions will be micromanaged just like Maresca's were. They'll continue to get their way on player signings, and how many minutes which player can play. Then it is whether he can sort out culture and mentality, not sure he can do any better than Maresca did, but time will tell - maybe he has a bit more of a chance there tbh. And in game management, and talking to the press (and a closely related topic of building a relationship with the fans), which were the two obvious flaws in Maresca similarly its unlikely he's any worse. Imo it is pretty much a sideways move and not much will change. One great hope of all of this is that we have a huge problem IMO with Cole Palmer that is not being spoken about much (as he's English), he's been bang average for a long time now and if Rosenior can change the guys role or whatever is required to get him back to being the best player in the world then obviously that would be a huge positive for us, I do think Maresca is partly to blame for Cole's drop off. Maybe another man, even if tactically similar, will have a different perspective and find a way to get Cole back. p.s. Gary O'Neil will be our manager in 18 months I guess and on and on the cycle continues.
  22. The one upside to this is Chelsea cannot ruin my weekend vibes with Fulham on a Wednesday. If they fail against Charlton on the weekend, the last little bit of hope will be snuffed out.
  23. A lot of their points fall apart on basic scrutiny. For example While he did want a centre-back, he was unwilling to sanction departures to create space, and no suitable option emerged following the pursuit of Dean Huijsen. Liverpool found themselves in a similar position. Liverpool almost signed Guehi on deadline day and Arsenal signed Hincapie as backup, PSG signed Zabarnyi. There were plenty of options.
  24. Kobbie Mainoo no longer wants to leave Manure after Amorin is sacked https://www.caughtoffside.com/2026/01/06/man-united-star-changes-transfer-stance/
  25. Where has this narrative come from all we do is buy and sell players for profit? Who exactly are these players your talking about?
  26. I am questioning how important a coach actually is after listening to Reece and Enzo say the players just continue regardless If a coach can actually be revolutionary in tactics and motivation, all well and good In classical music so many performances are just as good, if not better without a conductor. 😉
  27. We need to do this - cant just write him off. Give it a few days...😁
