Its funny I could have sworn he only wanted to play DM for us and now both at Juve and Villareal they use him as a CB
-
Regardless of what I think of the player (I don’t see this unreal talent that he’s supposedly is) it would be a terrible look for this board if your primary CB target who you’ve been chasing for weeks goes instead to a direct rival. Would feel like yet another case where we try to low ball another club repeatedly and then someone else comes in with the money that other club is asking for.

EXCLUSIVE: 🔴🇫🇷 ❗️Liverpool is now in pole position to sign Jérémy Jacquet ➡️ Negotiations are underway to try to reach a final agreement in the coming hours ✅️ Jérémy Jacquet has already given his 🆗️ (@Santi_j_FM)

🔵😏Chelsea and Strasbourg are aligned on the idea of a straight loan for Ivorian striker David Datro Fofana, who has yet to give his agreement to finish the season in Alsace. (@lequipe) It's a shame it's only a loan.

Don't get cocky or you will be eating Tuna on another forum

So much for all that “keep an eye on Chelsea in the last days of the window” Fabrizio repeated like 50 times. Like I said a week or so ago when we pulled out of the Douglas Luiz move, we all better pray that Caicedo stays fit the whole rest of the season.

I tought that guy with white hair is him xd . My bad.

Sarr was never going to be the answer, he's the cheap answer. Let's think about things
- Today
-
Sarr doesn’t clear a ball he should have and PSG score. Not really sure he is the answer
-
Do we know anything what's going on?

I thought I banned you last night?

that might be a pressurising attempt on Rennes, although Tati is a left-footed CB and Jacquet is a righty but I do know who Tati is, and he is deffo in the mould of CB we seem to covet: 20yo and under 1.90 to 1.95m in height here are all CBs (both left and right footed, most are righty on this list, none are ambipedal) on the planet who meet that criteria and are valued at 7m euros and up we have been linked to almost all at one point and made offers for many as well these are the only lefties from the main list above I (I have posted about him many times) REALLY want Karim Coulibaly but I probably rate Tati next the other two in between them are both in the head-chopper league (KSA) IF you extend the age group up to players who will still be under 24yo when this season's contracts end (and keep the height range the same) you only have ONE lefty CB on the planet valued above Coulibaly atm so YES, we deffo see a pattern

We were saying yesterday, the half hearted chances Delap was hesitating over Diego would have buried

Quite sad situation really.last season he showed enough to warrant some faith in him for growth into more but Yul Quitter brainfarts him into a foreign position that made him look useless. then we blow 100m on 2 players for his position that aren't yet and may never be upgrades. Pure profit to then blow more than the amount we get.

Surely Diego Costa was the ‘closest’ thing to Drogba. In reality, nobody is close to what Drogba was… he was one of a kind. My Legend.
-
the first two season were good, not a top goalscore but a center forward that contributed a lot in our offensive attack
-
Drogba was a beast, his first season he wasn't even that good, but as seasons grew on he became the most rounded striker I have ever seen These new modern day footballers are wanting it all on the plate, Drogba worked for goals, he made them for himself and made them for the team He was elite, the best I have ever seen

I dont think any of them close., including Lukaku IMO. Drogba had it all. Attacking corners, defending corners, taking corners, taking direct free kicks, crosses from either wing with both left or right foot, long shots from outside the box, goals taken on the pivot, bringing down long passes from the goalkeeper, diving headers, bullet headers, penalties, the ability to play quick 1-2's with likes of Lampard and Hazard...the list goes on and on. Even if we ignore all the goals, he brings value to the team. This video from 2011 season, which was still a mediocre one from Drogba, shows what he can do even without scoring
