Sad to see him go... But glad he got a chance to say goodbye!

Will be missed

Thank god he didnt end up at Juve. That was my nightmare. He could go insane damage there as a 60th minute sub. Same for PSG.

That passing to those offensive players both have, late in games. Eeeeek.

My wife is freaking out on him leaving, last time she was close to this pissed (more pissed at these following though) was Costa, Salah, and the big one, De Bruyne

She thinks his passing being taken away as lock picking late gamer mode is going to fuck us bad

All year long she has said to play Cesc as a 60th minute sub for Kovacic, NOT Jorginho (she thinks Kovacic or Ampadu should have been Jorgi's b/u)

and when Cesc comes in, pull the CF, go to false 9 and bring in CHO at LW,, with Eden going to the middle and Pedro or RLC as RW.

I said Barkley at RW instead of RLC, I said RLC could go to CF (which still has not been tried btw) and CHO could also go sometimes to RW over Barley or to LW if Hzard went middle, lol, its complicated)

she was saying this since first week of EPL, way before Sarri actually went to false 9

David Luiz says Cesc Fabregas bid farewell to Chelsea squad

"He did a speech and then after that we all said thank you for him, and hugged him," said Luiz, who declined to reveal what Fabregas said.
Sky sources understand Fabregas travelled to France on Sunday to holds with Monaco over joining the Ligue 1 club.

Eden Hazard also paid tribute to Fabregas, who joined Chelsea from Barcelona in 2014.
"Since the beginning when he came, we saw it the first year, we won the double together," said Hazard. "Top guy on the pitch, off the pitch, a great friend of mine.
"Just admiration about this guy. I hope he will have a good future. It's a bit hard now, but he's still very good and he will enjoy."

Cesc Fabregas has agreed a three-year deal to join Monaco this summer, but may be allowed to join the club this month if Chelsea can find a replacement, according to Sky sources.

Glad we're signing a replacement, if reports are to be believed, I wonder what Barella expects considering Cesc didn't have a ton of playtime, though I guess RLC is out for a month or so.

Sad to see him go, I absolutely did not expect so much of him when we signed him although at the time we were crying out for someone like him, proved me wrong completely pretty much from the start. Wish him the very best and another reason to watch Monaco.

FABREGAS' MONACO MOVE BLOCKED

Cesc Fabregas has agreed a three-year deal to join Monaco this summer when his Chelsea contract runs out, according to Sky sources.

Fabregas wants to move to Monaco now and Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri said on Monday he should leave Stamford Bridge.

But Sky Sports News understands Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia is blocking the deal. She has said Fabregas can go as soon as a replacement has been found.

Chelsea are close to deals for Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella and Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Leandro Paredes and expect one of them to be completed this week.

I knew Monaco were struggling this season but I haven't payed any attention at all to Ligue 1. Since Cesc is on his way there I just had a look at the table and was expecting to see them just outside of the CL places or somewhere in the middle.

They're fucking 19th!? WTF! How have they managed that?

Have you been living inside a cave?!

They suffered a major injury crisis - and I mean MAJOR injury crisis - and sold quality players in the summer as well as having made questionable signings to place those that they sold.

I dont think Barella is Cesc replacement. He doesnt suit that disciplined DM role Sarri demands. If anyone its going to be Paredes.

Or we get both?

Mate, I don't live in Europe! Ligue 1 gets absolutely zero play here in the States. Only time I see French teams is in the CL.

The hell would I read about the French league that PSG will win by 30 points or somethings? 😂

I get all my football news via journalists on Twitter, almost all of which is PL focused.
