  1. Caicedo trying his best to get sent off. Poch needs to sub him or he's getting red for sure.
  2. I get what you're saying, but we aren't winning now and don't look like we will any time soon. With the scattergun approach the new owners have taken with regards to transfers,.I just can't see who is going to come and instill discipline and structure. Structure and gameplay might be too cautious with Jose for most people's liking but unless we pull out a rabbit out of a hat in terms of the next manager - I just dont know where we can go from here. To be clear though - I never wanted Jose back and thought he is too dated and boring. Wanted good football etc etc. It takes many many beatings of your team to get you considering a u turn towards Jose.
  3. Lol never thought we would ever need Jose again. We do. Anyone who thinks this club can be pulled out from the quicksand clusterfuck we are in, is living on hope. Welcome back relatively negative football - but at the same time a winning mentality - which is severely needed. Currently we play worse than negative footy , atleast negative footy is a type of playing style. Right now it's dire.
  4. Madueke is crystal palace level at best, even there he would be behind eze or olise. Hate when the club buys clumsy players.
  5. Weekly shitshow. Mudryk is officially rubbish, even if he has pace.... Broja is bad. Like if you took everything good about Giroud away, you'd be left with a broja. And it's preston and we still can't overpower the opposition. Age is not an excuse anymore.
  6. Colwill literally allowed the Brighton dude to come on his left foot and curl it instead of forcing him down the line. Major error.
  7. Cucurella has a few brain farts in him per game where he completely loses his opponent and in games vs top sides I think it's better to go with someone better defensively, bigger and taller. Offensively he offers nothing so would take chilwell since we barely have any goals in our team anyway. That being said cucu had a good game a few games ago vs arsenal I think it was.
  8. 2-1 scoreline to either side. Will be a cracker. Hope richarlison plays as he's worse than anyone I've ever watched play.
  9. there were some positives since most teams will defend with 10 against us for large periods of the game and then try damaging us via counters/set plays. 1. Poch has coached extremely intricate 1-2's around the opponent box which opens up attacking opportunities for us. This breaks their static defend with 10 strategy. However, making the right pass, or shooting at the goal more often has to be encouraged as goal opportunities come very often simply by having the ball pinging around the pen area. chaos is good in this sense. 2. long vertical fast passes upfield which break the lines are an active feature now of our play- which will become even better with game practice. negatives 1. we do not shoot from outside the box enough. So no chances of goalkeeper fumbles, blocks that fall into the path of our attackers, or even corners for set plays. 2. Our set plays have become horrendous. Like wow. so bad. From free kicks to corner routines to corner kick ins - needs major work. 3. Mudryk looks lost against low blocks. it'll take time but all the ingredients for success are there. Not going to be an easy season but lets see where we go from here.
  10. No major sports broadcaster has mentioned this as yet. Hoping it's a few keyboard.ninjas looking for clickbait.
  11. Sanchez James Silva Colwill Chilwell Enzo Caicedo ??? Sterling Jackson Mudryk Sterling since he is our best choice at the moment but find that his contributions are a mixed bag.
  12. Hall was never good enough, neither is maatsen. They're from the academy so I can see the soft spot. In terms of technique, intelligence and overall quality I know he plays on the right, but livramento imo was Chelsea quality. These two in my opinion don't have the necessary attributes to make it at a big club as starters. Even hall at Newcastle wont be first choice in 3 years time. Not saying they are bad players.
  13. Precautionary substitution considering the intensity of this game, from what I have read.
  14. caicedo to liverpool 110 million. wow. to be fair to them they paid up and how!! Edit: well things changed.
