Swoopz 183
Please stop taking direct shots at the net from freekicks. We all know you can blast the ball like a bullet, but they're not going on. Its bullshit.
Term-X 7,891
Does this really justify an entire thread, lmao.
The Big Drog 1,110
The thread was worth it just to see the funny sig he has.
Ollie 4,400
He's got an amazing free kick anyway so will never tell him to stop shooting.
LDN Blue 7,903
To be fair. He tested VDS both times. Don't really get the point of this thread though
Wilson 358
I actually wish Lampard would start taking them again.
Ollie 4,400
Why? Didier is much better at them from all distances. Lampard just hits the wall 24/
ZanSnake 1,211
He uses technique, power and curl, whereas Lampard mostly uses power, or did.
BlueLion. 21,491
If I have to choose between Lampard hitting the knee of the first man with a feeble effort or Drogba at least giving the keeper nightmares with his unpredictable technique, I'd go for Drogba.Though personally any freekick in line with the area should be hit by Alex if he's on the pitch... BomTrett 50
Drogbas free kicks are actually exciting. Lampards ALWAYS hit the wall or go over. Last time he took a decent free kick was when we played ipswich in the FA cup a couple of years ago and we beat 'em 3-1 and he scored 2. Drogba takes a decent free kick and 80 percent of the time, hits the target/puts the gk under pressure.Bizarre that this needed a thread though

Lampard just keeps it low and whacks it, hoping the wall will jump over it. I think it is worth a thread because if Drogba leaves in the summer, one of the players we buy (a playmaker hopefully), will have to be able to put in a good dead ball delivery and free kick, as Drogba is the best we currently have...... ChelseaChick 430
Hey SevenXI Please stop making pointless threads and Didier can be lethal with his freekicks so stop this nonsense!
BomTrett 50
Alex Well if Alex is playing i always want him to take a free kick haha, everyone loves his free kicks because he absolute annihilates the ball haha.
Wilson 358
Nah, Lampard used to score them all the time but ever since Drogba took over, Lamps hasn't had the same confidence.
HRiver 1,512
Drogba is the best free-kick taker in the team, no doubt, with Alex a close second. Lampard hits the wall all the time, I'd even let Mikel try over him to be honest.

Gianfranco_Z 202
Drogba is our best FK taker though...(Pic disclaimer: Not in anyway shape or form homophobic)
